The 82 stringray in the thumbnail and at 19:36 is my dad's car! He painted it himself in our garage, no experience, just what he learned on RUclips! Thanks for showcasing it!!!!
He did an awesome job. Too bad he wasn’t there when I shot the video. I would’ve loved hearing more about the car and the improvements he’s made to it. He can reach me at diy76vette (at) gmail if he wants to share more details about his car. Thank you for watching! 😊👍🏻
Great video, you’re a trooper for enduring the rain ☹️I think the yellow “project “ car @ 11:14 is beyond hope, that birdcage has to be totally shot from what was able to be seen 🤷♂️
I had a really nice 73 that got a lot of looks. Solid frame and birdcage. C3s are weird quirky cars, I liked having it but I don't miss it. I dont need to even own one again...haha Fulfilled that fantasy.
Very nice! Enjoyed watching this video. Funny how prices seem up for the later run of the C3's, but lower for the early run of the C3's. I would be interested in what you think prices are running through out the years. I think that would make a great video. Keep up the great videos.
I believe that most buyers are finally realizing that buying a good car equals savings. Restorations are time-consuming and extremely expensive, so taking the time to find a great original example of what you want is a sound financial choice. Thank you for watching! 😊👍🏻
But it doesn't. It's possible that the hood decals were changed, but they do not match the video. Just saying. People will claim anything to get another dollar from a classic car. I had someone try to pass off a 1978 TA as the one used in Smokey and the Bandit. Nice Try
What most people don't get is that the miles on these type of cars are not actual miles, the odometers didnt go up to 100k. These are roll over miles. Still nice to look at and evn own.
This video was filmed at the Spring Daytona Turkey Run, Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Did he do the Crossfire Conversion?
That's a beautiful car. Your dad did a great job on the paint.
Some amazing cars! Thank you for facing the bad weather! Great film once again!
Thank you for watching! 😊👍🏻
@widndn Thank you! 😊👍🏻
“Just needs a little TLC and about $100,000 in parts and labor” 😂 I love it.
Thanks for the look at some nice cars! Many seem priced to sell!
Lol 😆
True enough: 1st rule of buying a C3 is having a mechanic that knows how to repair and maintain them. Not "guessing"; really bad experience$.
@@that_thing_I_do The days of “cheep” C3 parts are long gone. Parts and labor makes restoration likely more expensive than buying a finished car.
Little fixer upper..... Lol
Alot of great cars there! Thanks for enduring the bad weather and sharing them with us!👍
Thank you for watching! 😊👍🏻

Yeah, not EVERY C3 Corvette deserves to be restored, and the law of diminishing returns certainly applies in this case.
Thank you for watching! 😊👍🏻
That yellow 68 427 is my favourite 😊😊😊

Burgundy '71 with side pipes is gorgeous
Oh man is that Pontiac Grand Prix for sale as well 1:21 !?
It was parked in the Car Corral, so most likely yes. I believe they had close to 1,500 vehicles for sale at that event 😊👍🏻

the john mellencamp car matches the original jack and diane music video

Interesting. The 1974-82 'Boulevard Cruisers' were basically considered junk by many for decades but are now getting their day and due.
Do they have the Silver Aniversary car 1979. ? I like the 82 Body more
4500 for that one with no bumper and windshield is insaine! He needs help with his estimation
Lol 😆
Red with the lower rocker painted Burgundy is a rare one !
seems prices have slid 20 percent in last two years.
yes
Over 25k for C3,????
The 82 Corvette with the crate engine in it. Probably gained a lot of horsepower when I got rid of the emissions
6:27. Yikes. Guy parked in a drainage swale during big storm. Gotta wonder………
Any 91 Rag tops 6 spd ?
Prices dont seem to drop at Big Auction LIke Barrit Jackson or Mecum. I rather buy from a small company. With NO 20% Hike up premium 😂😂
74 last yr for Stingrey
76 was last year
Where are thses located? I take 2 ! 😊
