40 Years - The Greatest Hits out now @ lnk.to/Spandau...
Spandau Ballet are one of Britain’s great iconic bands having sold over 25 million records, scored numerous multi-platinum albums and amassed 23 hit singles across the globe since their humble beginnings as a group of friends with dreams of stardom in the late 1970s. It wasn’t long before they became fully-fledged members of the iconic Blitz Club scene and established themselves as one of the super-groups of the 80s.
The band's classic line-up features brothers Gary and Martin Kemp on guitars, vocalist Tony Hadley, saxophonist Steve Norman and drummer John Keeble.
Spandau Ballet’s hits include Gold, True, To Cut A Long Story Short, Through The Barricades and many more.

Tony is just unbearably beautiful with his bangs. And Steve with his long scarf.
I agree 💯💯 ❤️❤️ only about Tony though
One of Spands' most underrated tracks. What an enticing vision this conjures up; and it's served well by TOTP's steamy presentation.
Indeed! 👏🏼👏🏼
Doesn't get the airplay on 80s music stations that it deserves, even 'To cut a long story short' doesn't either, another classic track!
I always loved this song more than I ever liked TRUE I'm forty two years older but I still feel like hitting the weights when I hear this pushing 66
what a great band tony hadley i had a crush on him verry good life good voices etc. love this song.
I still have a crush on Tony ❤
Musclebound (Top of the Pops 02/04/81) 1856pm 19.12.24 just watched and listened to gaz kemp on word in your ear (youtube) - got seek the interview out. i'm here cos i'm trynna ascertain if the dudes look at their instruments they play or wink at the birds. one surmises it's a bit of both.... i like this song. the more palatable slow dance gear it tried palm off on me wasn't sitting well with me. gold was ok, though...
How could anyone not like this song
I think that this song is very motivating 👌 😌
I also think that this was ahead of its time ⏲️
Released back in April '81
April 2nd 1981
Tony Hadley's outfit!! 😍😍😍😍
I love those vocals, a very powerful voice, even till this day an amazing performer at live shows.
My favorite Spandau Ballet song.
Love how the bass play the melody in the chorus
The band at the top! Ahhh those melodies....Tony s voice is superb 💎💙🌀
Tony has one of the best voices on the planet and phaw.....he's hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love you Spandau Ballet!
SPANDAU ballet are musicians because their music was new wave and also they are leaders in pop culture and music.
Una de las mejores canciones de Spandau Ballet.
Voce inconfondibile e unica..... l'immenso Tony hadley 💯💯🔝❣️
One of my favourite songs from Spandau ballet
Still listen to this at work (till you’re muscle bound all night long) and many other from this era today....
This is one of the best Spandau tracks that
they ever recorded. Its not as popular as their other hits but its sounds so good and different. This is my fave SB song along with To Cut A Long Story Short And Lifeline.
SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD ❤
Love the clothes ❤
happy 61 martin ;-)
Spandau Ballet *** Great and Unique
Still sounding as good today. I was there that night at the original Scala Cinema in Tottenham Street, London for their first ever gig, introduced no less by one Robert Elms, a very young journo! Clubs like Billy's, The Blitz, Planets, Le Beat Route [when Chant Number 1 was released in 1981] and one of my favourites Club For Heroes at the Barracuda Club in Baker Street. Damn but they were good times. Nothing like it nowadays. No one mixes anymore.
I love the layers of fabrics in such an Arabian Knights setting. I adore the lyrics to this track and the homoerotic of it all. Tough is the leather that's strapped to my skin
Strong are the bonds that we make. Spandau Ballet at their most MUSICAL and CREATIVE on Muscle Bound along with tracks such as Innocence And Science, Toys and Missionary. This crowd were SO lucky to have been there, I could slit my wrists! :-(
happy Gary Kemp (63) ;-)
🤩 Fantastic
Todo lo que hacen es espectacular una banda con swing y permanece hasta ahora inolvidable, the best 80, 90!! Unforgettable🎶💖🎶💕🤩
Tony 💕💕💕💕💕
New Romantic ❤😊
Sometime in 1987 I remember I once sent a letter to this address:
Spandau Ballet Fan Club
WC2H 9TJ
London
Straight men with individual style... No football shirts, jeans and trainers. Also the song is called Muscle Bound but back then most men didn’t hit the gym daily... they didn’t need too...
love you 😻 my favorite and true
Amo vocês.❤️❤️❤️❤️🇧🇷
Much better than the crap today 👌, I don't care if you think I'm an old follsil.
Sorry about the spelling 😅.
I love you 💞😍😍😍
💪💪💪💪
Música muito boa show
Abraços parabéns pelo vídeo
Ronnie and Reggie in the lineup
Mad thing is Martin Kemp only started playing bass in 78, 2 and a half years earlier. He must have practiced like the devil to get that good. Great band.
北海道~♪
No sé cómo no se asan de calor con esa vestimenta !!!
We're building fires that will burn until morning
The smell of books and hot stone surrounds us
Tough is the leather that's strapped to my skin
Strong are the bonds that we make
We feel the steam as it rises around us
Up from the soil that is cracking its back
Tough is the leather that's strapped to my skin
Strong are the bonds that we sing
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
We're building fires that will burn until morning
The smell of books and hot stone surrounds us
Tough is the leather that's strapped to my skin
Strong are the bonds that we make
To feel the pulsing from chanter to mountain
Down through the vein and into the grain
Strong is the shoulder that moves to the time
Here is the land it can break
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Gotta work till you're musclebound, all night long
Gotta work till you're musclebound, all night long
Tough is the leather that's strapped to my skin
Strong are the bonds that we sing
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Gotta work till you're musclebound, all night long
Work till you're musclebound, all night long
Thank you
Ofcourse I'll view this.
Before they became all namby-pamby
tragic.
Does muscle bound as annoying😮
Everyone sounded great but the song is not good.
this and "to cut a long story short" are by far thier two best.
@@rottegift2'Chant' and 'Paint me down' as well
Cheesy, early Spandau Ballet. Just like a fine wine, or a good cheese, they improved over time
Test
I find it strange that most of the great music past 60 years has taken place during Conservative governments. Nixon/Heath late 60's/early 70s's.....Reagan/Thatcher, 1980s. Could it be that the counter culture is most creative during time of "imagined" suppression? It may be more likely that these artists are actually hard working conservative minded people who just identify with Socialist Working Class rhetoric to be "cool". "Work 'til you're Musclebound" isn't exactly a mantra for Left Wingers.
"Work" isn't exactly the mantra of the left. "Entitlement" is.
