I just got a Genesis II 335 delivered, I am not good at assembling even a simple bed 😊 but just found your video and I feel like I can do it no problem, albeit stopping the video maybe 50 times 😂. Thank you much for this great tutorial. Truly appreciated!
12:10 The instructions say to route the igniter wires to the OUTSIDE of the corrugated gas pipe. Probably to keep them further away from the heat. I just put mine together last night. Great video! That wrench they supply belongs in the garbage!
This video was very helpful with the assembly of our new Weber Genesis. The directions that came with the grill were not adequate. We were so grateful to find such a good video with step by step instructions.
very helpful, my Weber has rusted thru and thru finally nearly collapsing (near ocean) so I'm just looking to DIS-assemble it and give it the Bagster funeral it totally deserves after nearly 20 years of fine service. It did make everything flavorful. Thanks for the video - disassembling will be fun too.
Thank you for a very useable and detailed video. My BBQ assembly was a little different but your video made it much easier to complete. My S-345 cover was not assembled correctly by Weber, the sheet metal lining under the hood was not installed properly and hoping for a replacement. Your video made me feel less intimidated, thank you.

Great detailed video, I will be using this as a guide when i get my grill next week so I don't have to wait until Friday for the store to put it together. Thank you!
Great video - thanks! One suggestion, on step 8, just flip it over and pop the plugs in, then flip back over and push them in the rest of the way. No second person needed
@@gusm2752 love it. Heats up super fast, 9mm SS grates are the nuts and I also added the igrill 3 which works great. Getting to know the temp range with this is a work in progress. Thank you very much for making this video - between your video, BILT App, and the Weber manual, it definitely made assembling a lot easier (and quicker!). A particular useful tip was the one around the door handle - putting the screw in the plastic caps first before fitting it into the door panel. Thanks!
I build them for only 12 to 18 mins including the Unboxing and Clean up especially for that specific Grill Weber E Series. I build BBQ grills for Lowe's and sometimes For the Home Depot.
@@ADR-j9m well next time IF you're gonna assemble your own grill you should use 2 types of Philips Driving Bit The Philips#2 and #3 and only use 12V impact driver any 12V impact driver that doesn't have that much torque that can destroy your bit or the screw heads don't use 20V because it's too much powerful and can strip the screws.
Great video!! Very helpful. I’m in the market for a new grill but in natural gas. Was looking at this grill and the next size down Weber. After seeing this video I’m more confident I can assemble it myself if I don’t get already built. Thanks 👍
Hello, great video sir. the electric cable should go the other way compared to the gas line - this is how it is instructed by the manufacturer and it makes sense also given some of the subsequent steps... just a thought.
I buy everything based on reviews. Some said this was hard to put together ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt some guy said 2 hours and 2 beers later. I didn't drink beer like I was going to. I didn't feel like going to the store. I'm assuming I would have had at least 3. I took my time. Stepped outside for a cigarette break a couple times but all in all it was about a 3 hour project for me but it wasn't like it was difficult or anything . Only pictures but everything is pretty organized and labeled although I didn't see any #s on the actual pieces like it shows in the diagrams. Only the screws were labeled. On the cardboard part of the packaging on the back side. I put it together in my living room too. It wasn't supposed to rain today but it's Michigan and I couldn't wait so I put it together in my living room. Without beer but beer would definitely have made it more fun that's for sure. I'm giving this a 5 for easy assembly. I'll update after it stops raining when I can take it out of my living room and cook some food on it. Hope this helps at least for people who think they can't put this together because I did and you can too . And there are extra screws. I got nervous and immediately came here to see if others had the same experience and they have. You're not doing it wrong. There will be extra screws. Be patient. Don't rush it. Drink beer. Happy assembling
Thanks for the detailed instruction, I just built one today in all stainless steel. but for some reason it did not have a cut out to run the pack of wires connected to the battery pack through that square cut out it wanted me to disconnect all the wires through the small gap and then reconnect them. also no need to takeoff the lid me and my wife just picked it up and put it on top it's an unnecessary step to take the lid off.
great vid! 2 things... what was the elapsed time of assembly, you know, not including moving the camera for every setup? AND you may want to flip those grill grates over to the flat side, MUCH easier to brush and spatula.
I put my grill together using your video, I couldn't believe how easy you made it for me. Thank you. Quick question my grill didn't come with the cover for the ignition box or the wire cover?
Your explanation and attention to detail was very well presented. Wondering why you decided on the Black and not the Stainless. How do you like the cast iron grill? I'm still deciding if I will get the one you put together or the Stainless. I like the look of the Black, but the Stainless has Stainless steel grates for grilling. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to your response.
Thanks for the kind words Todd! I prefer cast iron grates over stainless because I like the darker grill marks they provide. In addition, they're awesome once fully seasoned! Also, I read reviews of owners that said their black grills still look new after many years. The stainless owners referred to minor discoloration on the outer finish. But in the end it's all about preference.!
I have what may be a silly question, but why does Weber have you take the lid off, your video was great, and I saw 9t was in the instructions, just kind odd.
Just grabbed one of these and put together yesterday. Unfortunately the control panel holes doesn’t seem to be well aligned on the right side. In other words, the knob attachment of the manifold is centered on the left side, but pretty close to the top of the opening on the right side. Wonder if my control panel wasn’t machined correctly.

All the videos I see have this drop down but mine does not. Is that ok? Where do I put wires if they’re hanging in front of the middle horizontal bracket of grill
If I follow you correctly, you're referring to the hole that the ignition wires get passed through in the middle shelf? Are you sure the shelf wasn't installed backwards or something? If the wires run in front of the shelf it's not really a huge deal. However, they might interfere with the doors closing... Otherwise, as long as your wires are safely routed somewhere where they won't get damaged, you should be fine.
Thank you. Watched this and another video. Knew exactly what I was up against. Just put mine together and putting through its initial burn. Thanks again.
The clamp needs to be secured through the hole of the tank lip and tightened so the tank hangs straight. That's the only requirement that I'm aware of.
