    I have an Everstart battery charger/maintainer, I use it on my riding mower after it has been sitting for a while,I have Schumacher jump pack and the first time I used it the positive clamp came apart and it took a few minutes to put the thing back together,it happened all 3 times I had to use it,I have the exact same battery tester you do,your battery is the same size my truck uses,so far I have had to put 2 Everstart batterys in my car compared to the one Duralast gold I have in my truck,but the Duralast did cost more and guaranteed for more years,but when I need one for the truck I will try an Everstart,I got the truck battery in 2015 and it is still putting out over 12.6 volts not running.

    • @BigOvlogger
      @BigOvlogger  2 года назад +1

      I have never had any problems with the EverStart batteries. The battery in the Chevy Impala is the cheapest battery Walmart sells. It is the Value Power. It is 50 dollars. It has been in the Impala since February 2019, which equates to 2 years 10 months, almost 3 years. It is a 12 month guaranteed battery. It has never failed to start the car.

    • @marksreviewsandrants8554
      @marksreviewsandrants8554 2 года назад

      One good thing about it the 1st battery I got for the car was guaranteed for 2 years, It lasted a little over 3 years I usually Like to get at least 5 years out of a battery, The Duralast gold in my truck is going on 7 years, But like I said it did cost more but when that 1 goes bad and I will get a group 65 batterie from Walmart because that is the one my truck uses.
      to get more years out of them, and now put a new battery in there in September this year.

    You're talking VOTES! I need VOLTS! 😆
    But, seriously. I pulled out of my garage with my old Schumacher (purchased in 2009/15 years old) still hooked up to my Beemer & it bounced on the concrete. It's GONE! I love Schumacher. Can you tell me approximately how long the clamps cord is to the unit so I can hang it on the wall and not have to hang it from my hood when I park.

    Pretty good review, I was thinking about carrying it around behind my seat instead of jumper cables, I don't like hooking up other people's dead cars to my alternator, also if I was ever out and about, hotel, etc and my battery died it would be nice to have it on board as well, my question I guess would be how long would it take to charge someone's battery if they went into the store and they came out and it was dead, I can't see it being too far discharged, it should only take about 10 to 15 minutes?

    • @BigOvlogger
      @BigOvlogger  Год назад

      If the battery is not completely dead, you could use the 8 amp charge mode and it would probably charge it enough in 20 to 25 minutes to start the automobile; however, this is a charger, not a jump starter, so you would need to plug this unit into a 110 volt receptacle to charge a battery. You need a jump starter behind your seat, not a battery charger. Thanks for commenting. Be sure to subscribe to my channel, if you haven't already. Have a good night.

      If you are stuck on the road with a dead battery, you need a jump starter. A jump starter will boost your dead battery and instantly allow you to start the automobile. One of the best jump starters is the JNC 660 that is manufactured by Clore Automotive.

    So mine is hooked up currently, the charging light is on and the “bad battery “ light is on, the battery is literally like 4 months old. Do you think that it’s simply saying the battery is bad, until it finishes charging?

      This is an 8 amp charger. Any charger 6 amps or higher is a rapid charger. • @BigOvlogger
