done !
don't forget your promise tho
@@TheAnshuman001 Did you watch it yet? As I promised, its up now.
@@PetroHead yes I did. I watched it live when it was premiered. Thanks a lot ! But a comment on that video if you don't mind.
Everything was fine. I got what I was expecting ! Thanks a lot ! You rock
Thank you for your review Will! Liked the video. The bike sounds like a great bit of work. The background music was a little intrusive at times when trying to listen to the bike while you’re talking. Liked how you added in different features on the video like the GPS/altitude map in place of your commute, and the aerial views of Newport. And, boy, up and down quickshifting is definitely addicting! As for the 6-axis IMU, if the bike is equipped with ABS, it allows the bike to utilize ABS more safely when you engage the brakes while leaned over, when you have a smaller contact patch to work with, amongst other things. And it’s good to hear heat wasn’t a factor at all. Good job, brotha’!
If I didn't have my 959 and I was brand new to Ducati... I would choose this ANY day of the week over a 959. The quick shifter is BUTTER as well as all the new trick electronics.
As for sound -- I got you brother. A new video will be out soon dedicated to PURE V2 sound. Keep a look-out.
I love the sound of the twin 😍
I need more V2 vids! I can’t wait to get my hands on one
Tomorrow is the V2 vs 959 vid... stay tuned and make sure to sub!
Nice. Considering the upgrade myself for the headlights, the electronics and the LCD screen. The swing arm is great too.
Since you already have a 959, why not a 2018 V4S for a similar price as a new V2?
@@PetroHead Not interested in 200+ HP. I'm happy at the power level of the 955 engine at the moment. But I'd love the electronic upgrades.
Thanks for the vid, I have the V2 and I’m 5’6” too and there are many points that I agree with
You're welcome. I can ride any bike.. size doesn't matter.. same for you I'm sure.
V2 all the way man thank you for you’re thoughts about the bike!
You're welcome!
Good review!!! Very helpful!!! Thanks a lot
Ducati is my dream brand. Though like BMW. But sometimes I get confused over Ducati and BMW. But Ducati is always an apple of my eyes especially corso. Thanks for sharing bro. Keep riding cheers :)
Thank you! 🙏
Sorry I'm watching too late, But amazing VIDEO. Thanks for sharing THIS INFORMATION BRO!! I have Subscribed you're Channel
Thanks for the sub! Its NEVER too late! enjoy...
damn, financial goals. a porsche and a ducati? hell yeah.
Thx for the review. That Carrera S looks mint🔥🔥
Thanks man.. Would you like to see more videos about it?
PetroHead anything Porsche and Ducati, i’m in😉
@@oo7Grexx Mah Man! All I need to hear. More to come! Be sure to sub!
I think this is a good in-between point for a Superbike on the Street. My 1199S was just too much for the street and wasn't happy unless it was going all out. I will most likely pick one of these up this year!
Its a great bike. You won't be disappointed! Just wait till they make an ECU map and that will fix all the kinks after you buy it. Please subscribe for new v2 videos coming soon!
It doesn't get any better than this, brand new Ducati on PCH in Orange county. I will wait for Corse paint scheme. You might want to blur the speedo. Nice review! Sub'd from LA.
Its voice over and CGI 👍 ---- Thanks for the sub!!
I like your video. What app did you use to do that map thingy around the 2:30 time of the video?
TY! Relive app. 👍
As soon as I seen your Porsche I looked at how many subs you have and tell me why you only have a little over 300? You should be in the thousands if not hundreds of thousands! Your videos are great 👍
One day my friend. For now... hard work, determination, goals and a huge dose of patience.. I've only been here about 4 months. Please help by sharing my videos and telling your friends ❤️🙏
You were going on about comfort so much, I was beginning to wonder if you have 'boys'... Thanks for the review.
Riding so many Ducati's... You begin to notice many things.. You're welcome!
6th gear at 50 Miles? Even on my 103 cui Harley Dyna Low Rider I'm at 50 Miles (80 km) usualy in 4th or 5th gear and not in the 6th. And the Harley does max 190 km/h - the Pani V2 290 km/h....Nice video, great bike.
How bad do the side mirrors vibrate?
Considering a v2 in the near future. Although looking for something thatll be comfortable for about an hour ride or so and not sure if thatll be the one.
If you even kind of care about comfort, get the ducati supersport or a ktm duke 890, which is a ton more fun than the ducati ss (test drove both, bought the ktm)
How's the heat compared to your 959? I hear that you said it's less heat, but how much? I used to have a KTM and I don't like having a boiler between my legs. Also, how many miles did you drive in your Panigale to the dealership?
I’d have to try it when the weather gets warmer to give you a good answer. 60+ miles.
The new V2 is 5hp more than the 959. It has the electronics from the V4. So you can set it up better than the 959 Corse. Wheelie control, slide control, cornering ABS, ......Also inside these different settings you have more settings. Fantasitic stuff. From what i saw on the test day at Jerez race track, the V2 is only a second or two off the V4 with the factory Ducati rider on both. If your not going to track the bike i believe the Standard Suspension would be fine? Do you agree?
It has ‘some’ of the electronics. The slide control is V4 exclusive and maybe a few things here and there. I’ve yet to do a full review of the TFT (yet).
Standard suspension is perfectly fine for road and track. Check out the V2 TFT video I posted. Don’t forget to sub! 👍
It would be absolutely perfect if it sounded as good as my Ducati 888 with full race Ferracci exhaust....booming sound percussion that you can feel in your chest.
Which would you own, a new V2 or a 2020 Speed Triple S?? I know they’re different bikes but those are the two I am considering. Thanks!!!
All around fun bike.. speed.
If you had the choice would u go for 2019 959 or 2020 v2? Because I just put a down on 959 and wondering if I should change for a v2
959 is on sale right now, I'd get a 2017/18 for about 10-11k USD but depends where you live in the world. If money wasn't a factor, I'd get the V2 but I'd like to see it in a Corse version.
Love the stock exhaust look on both 959 and V2 and love the small comfort tweaks theyve made. Both bikes are aesthetically flawless with a tiny edge to the V2 simply because it's the newest, single sided swingarm, and I am a sucker for LED running strips. I am also a sucker for beautiful dials and gauges and the V2 is a huge step up from the older Gen -- they have been using that old dash since like 2008. Quick downshifter is also like an $800 feature which comes for free in the bike. I think since you want a bit more comfort and you like all the new toys on the new bike we already know what your decision will be. Especially since you probably get 98% of the performance of your Corse, but in the new bike packaging, you will trade up (down?) SOON. I give it till June. PIN THIS PREDICTION!
LOL -- honestly, I can ride the V2 any day I want... Same with V4S.. Just show up and ride / make videos for the channel.. so not worth buying at this point. However... that V4R 🔥
@@PetroHead Good relationship you have with those guys!
@@drewmorg. One hand washes the other 👍
yo' upload in 720p60fps ima sub now and is there anyway that you could review the 2020 mv agusta f3 and tell which one is better this v2 or the f3 🙏
I am recording in 2.7K 60 FPS from now on. I also made some tweaks to GoPro settings for better video. Learning as I go along! I'll try my hands on an MV F3. Thanks for subbing!
Buy the MV F3. Way nicer to ride than the V2. I own an F3 and love it. I have just tested a V2 - liked it, but not in the same league. I have just ordered a V4 however to sit next to my F3 in the garage!
@@peterblatchford383 I want to test ride one and do a review... if you're in San Diego.. ht me up lol
how did you make that little landscape route thing at 2:30? is that via an certain app you use?
www.relive.cc
I currently have mine on preorder since the announcement in October and the heat is my only deciding factor whether to buy this bike or not
Congrats! You won't be disappointed.
motomaverick86 how long does it take to order one?
It’s gets very hot!
@@Andy-2022 Yeah. I went and did a test ride on ithe V2 at my local dealer and in hot weather. Love the bike. It's a beautiful bike ,but I will not be buying it because the riding experience sucks. Uncomfortably hot and even worse when you live in hot weather all year.
Hey bro, I'm from Malaysian, I already watch your video, its very interesting. Congrate bro. May I you something, this bike are suitable for beginners so far?
LOL no.. for beginner, buy R3.
@@PetroHead ouh thanks mate
can you tell me how hot this bike runs? I know that all panigales run how and burns your thighs and the seat gets hot. I got rid of my previous panigale because of that.
It didn’t run hot on my legs or bum. Please don’t forget to subscribe. New videos coming out soon! 👍
I think Ducati claim this bike has something like 5bhp more than the 959 but when it was tested by a UK magazine it actually made a couple of bhp less🤷♂️
Is the passenger seat removable? Or are they different models?
They added the pillion delete kit to the bike. Its extra.
@@PetroHead dang how much extra?
@@awesomeerr8765 unsure.
Saw you mention that you rode the bike in 60 degree weather and the bike was running at 217 degrees...I wonder how the bike would feel running in 80- 90 degree + weather
I also rode the 2020 V4S (review coming soon) and in the same temps... It felt WAY hotter than the V2. Time will tell.
once its break in its different i bought one 4 weeks ago
explain
I think you have really big balls.
Thank you! lol
How usable is this on the street? How does it compare to a v4? I rode a pani v4 on mountains and in traffic, and it's God awful if there's even just a little traffic. Burning red marks onto my thighs
It’s a little cooler than V4 but not by a lot. Watch heat test videos.
If only it had the grunt of the 1098 then it would be ideal👍
V2 v4 ... is that 2 cylinder/ 4 cylinder?
Correct.
Brother can you please tell me that what could be the annual maintenance cost with average riding of 10k kilometres (6.25k miles) per year?
First service and 2nd at 7k miles. Depends where you live and where you take it for cost.
PetroHead kindly tell me the cost in your country ( and country’s name also) if you take it to an authorised Ducati service centre. I will get a rough idea by converting the currency
PetroHead I m from India and here these kind of bikes are way too costly.
@@ankitacharya9565 Ducati service centers are expensive but about $250 per service sounds about right.
PetroHead thanks brother.
It is good for touring?
Its more comfortable than a 959 so I would say yes but then again, its not a touring bike. it's a race bike for the road.
V2 good as a starter bike??
No, horrible choice.
Thought it was brand new and you go into the rev limiter !
Demo models are already past the break period. Please don't forget to sub! 🙏
What about heating?
New video coming soon about heat. stay tuned and sub.
I didn't get the point of taking the bike on the freeway! Surely it needs to be taken to some twists and turns to sample the handling!
It's not my bike and I don't have a choice. I was just grateful to have ridden it.
Don't know how you can comment on the handling, you where upright all the time.
They trust everyone to test drive one there with insurance for the day
I'm glad I didn't pre order this bike, not a fan of the exhaust & not sure about the single side swing arm.
I'm pretty happy I got the last 2019 white 959 in Australia. Absolutely love the full Akraprovic system I got fitted last week.
It’s not a V for body shape. It is now the Panigale body shape.
Uh, you ran a red light there around the 56 sec mark...I know a good lawyer.
Computer animation. 👍
@@PetroHead 😂 That's what I figured. Great channel btw!
@@rafaelcarrillo2047 Thank you!! 🙏
It’s amazing how some video put out wrong informations 2 cylinder almost 1000cc and you can not wheelie it. You don’t deserve this bike. Then you read the comment from the Ducati heaters “I will never buy the V2 because it can’t wheelie” 😀😀😀
Thumbs up & subbed. Cut the music while you're talking. It's too much...
Thanks! Watch my V4 review and tell me if its improved.
came by bike, gloves on the car???
This video was from a long time ago... don't remember 100% but I think it was filmed in separate days... not sure.
@@PetroHead OKKKK.... seems like the video quality improved from this ducati video to yeaterday's triumph comparision video, YES??
@@NagarajCruze Definitely.. I think this video was when I started the channel... seems so long ago lol
@@PetroHead Not soooo loong, its just a year back.
@@NagarajCruze When you've done as much as I've done in the last 12-18 months... it feels very long ago. 3 episodes a week.. think about it. LOL
Please turn the music off.. down...change it..... It doesn't really add to the video. Otherwise nice review.
Thanks! You may want to see the "pure sound" video recently posted. 👍
Taking a review of a Ducati from someone who can't figure out how to start the machine
You're supposed to laugh. 😜
Forget the gloves. Just ride the thing.
Poor review. Unprofessional.
I represent the "regular guy" which most of us are. Good luck finding what you're looking for.
Poor comment, uninformative and in no way constructive. Jog on champ
