    Bought mine yesterday. I chose this from Nova Pro Wireless because of the mic quality. Upgraded from Arctis 3 wired. Steelseries mic can't beat this BSV2 Pro mic quality. Glad I watched many reviews online. The only downside is the missing 3.5mm Audio jack. But I regret nothing.

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  6 месяцев назад

      Yeah the microphone really is something else when compared to most other headsets :-) And yes, a 3.5 mm jack would have made it even greater. Awesome to hear you like it though! It really is a neat headset! // Chris

      I don't have those static noise. What I experience of some inconvenience of sort is sometimes there's a beep. Like a one beep. I still don't know what it is. Maybe you experienced this? Is it a battery indicator of some sort?

    Great review, thank you! 1 question. I have a ps5. Will pressing the eq button switch the headset to all those game presets, or is that only for pc? I want a good headset for Fortnite. I want to make sure i can switch to Fortnite eq settings while only on PS5. THANK YOU!

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  5 месяцев назад

      Hi! Thank you! Pressing the EQ button switches between the different presets. However to be able to change any of the preset-settings you need to connect the headset to a PC and launch the Synapse software. So with only a PS5 you are limited to the built in presets. // Chris

    I feel like it has more clamping force than the previous 2020 version. But a positive is that the mic does seem shorter than the 2020, it doesn't get in the way honestly.

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  3 месяца назад

      Could definitely be true! And no, the mic isn't that much in the way when you're actually using it. It's more for the other occasions it can be a bit annoying. However the quality does make up for most of that :-) Thx for the comment! // Chris

    Got mine, but headphone picks up static which builds up gradually after 30~40mins of game play. Its irritating for me because I play sim racing over long endurance races

      Hi! That´s new! I did not experience that at all, despite using the headset full days for a couple of weeks both while gaming and working. Have you tried changing anything else in the room (socks, mat, mouse pad)? If I understand you correctly that we´re taking static electricity, not static noises? :-) // Chris

      Hi! I actually didn't notice any static noise at all while testing this. And I am usually pretty annoyed with that kind of things. Is it a common thing with these headsets? If so, I have totally missed it I´m afraid. // Chris

    I got it today and will be returning it tomorrow.
    Audio is muffled. Mic picks up everything and drowns out your voice. Headset feels like your wearing hot hands on your ears.

      @@GetThereFaster They problem is, a Amazon off-brand I bought is starting to flake, but the microphone and speakers have a much higher quality of sound compared to these. I bought them 3 years ago for $20. I figured with inflation, they'd be worth more if they was brand new today. Bad thing is about Amazon off brands is they don't ever stick around long enough for people to buy another headset. So, I thought about getting a brand name and I'm not impressed.
      You'd think a $50 brand name headset would be worth $50+ and be much better than a $20 Amazon off brand headset.
      I do have a high quality studio industry standard Sony MDR-7506s to compare with. The off brand is missing some frequencies vs the Sony, but the Razer Blackshark V2 X is missing a ton of frequencies. It's been so hyped up by everyone on RUclips, if I created a video about it being bad .. Razer might murder me for doing it!

      @@GetThereFaster Creating songs is a hobby of mine, along with playing World of Tanks. It's probably the only two things left in my life to do. I used to program applications for a hobby, and I helped keep War3Source going for Team Fortress 2, CSS, and CSGO.
      If I write a song about how horrible this headset is, what genre should I create it in? County, Rock, Pop, Western? I'm not to hot at R&B or RAP, although, I've been playing with some speed settings that will make me appear to be an excellent rapper, by allowing me to sing it slow, then speed up the music where it goes from 60 BPM to 120 BPM making me king of RAP.

    Has anyone tried this with mac? how is it?

    • @GetThereFaster
      @GetThereFaster  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi! Actually never tried that when I had them home for review. However after reading a little it, very much unfortunately, seem to be working so-so at best. Firstly you will lose all Synapse compatibility since the 3.0 is not yet available for macOS. So no possibilities to change sound modes etc. There also seem to be some volume adjustment issues as well as connectivity issues with the dongle (that also requires an adapter to work with any newer mac-computer using USB-C). Unless you want to run the headphones with 3.5 mm cable, but that kind of defeats the purpose of these ones a little I´d say :-/ // Chris

      @@1RAUL1 Hm, I unfortunately don't have the headset still so can´t do any more testing. I know I had to do a restart of my computer after installing all the software and then replug the headset in for all settings in Synapse to take effect and be able to change. After that you should be able to alter after everything more to your liking.
