I am Vikram from India. I have some basic training on acoustic guitar some years back. Have an electric guitar, with a newly bought Distortion Pedal, which of your CD should I buy. I am confused, please advise. I love playing "You Give Love a Bad Name" with distortion like you taught. Pls advice.

@chans717 gibson is better because epiphone are owned by gibson and they make cheper more affordable versions of gibsons but some of the high end epiphones are almost as good as a gibson like the one i have.
The original tuning that slash play's with, is one half step down on all strings, that's because of his thick strings, his playing with 0.9 strings for a better metalsound.
It doesn't sound wrong. Music can be played in so many ways. And i want to bet that Slash has played it in different ways. And if it's wrong,then tell what is wrong about.
I'm sorry but I don't easily suffer fools. So I must point something out. To all of you asking about Marty doing a video for the second solo. People, this is the internet. Finding the full tab to Paradise City isn't difficult. And for those of you with fishing hooks in your pockets. For the most part you can get them free.
I wish you could teach us that solo it's awesome. But Marty you forget to mension, that in your total awesomeness you already have a lesson on the intro solo played by Slash :-) Everyone needs to know this ;-)

are u playing in standard tuning because in other videos i watched, ppl played the F# as the root note
I think verse fiff for izzy is played a string Down and picked in and around the actual notes and slightly muted
