Good lesson man. This can definitely get players in the vicinity of the "Slash tone". The only critique I have is that Slash plays the intro solo (and many of his other solos as well) in the neck position of the Lessy. It's one of Slash's signature things to start a solo in the neck position the with tone knob dialed down a bit, then switch to the bridge when it gets dirtier. Sweet Child O' Mine is a perfect example of this. Cheers!
First of all, the video and the effort are appreciated. But keep in mind that this iconic melody 0:23 is played with the neck pickup!!! Constructive feedback 😉
I think you needed some alnicoll pups! Sounds cool, man. Just missing that clarity he that kind of pick up gives, ya know. Might have been that cabinet, too. Peace!
Agreed to both of you yeah ^^ it's so important and even more so with the guitar straight to the amp and nowhere to hide! Thanks for watching and for the feedback! // Guillaume
Roses for the episode 🌹 🌹. I would suggest Bad Medicine from the New Jersey album for an episode. Both the main riff and the song in general are a lot of fun, different technique than usual, with all the double stops... and I’m pretty sure you could do it justice. It would a vengeance for the complete disaster that were the not just one but two videos that another well known store did trying to show how to sound like Sambora/Bon Jovi ☹️☹️
Can I change my request from Zombie Stomp by Ozzy to Happy by MUDVAYNE 🤘🏽 mudvayne not just the ber ber Ding guys 🤪 Happy (Are you) happy Are you feeling happy now 🤘🏽 Isn’t paradise city Treppendorf Franconia? How could you not wear that shirt!!!! Wardrobe!!!! We gotta reshoot this one guill forgot the shirt!!!
Eeeyyyy. Hey, it looks like you have a mop on your head, buddy. A little respect and take it off. Don't go "modern"! Cut your hair, you are almost bald and you are older ...!. We are only interested in what you do, what you know how to do, what you show and teach here ...
Sorry buddy but you should mind your own business and keep your preaching to yourself. I know it's hard to swallow but truth is, he will look however the f*ck he wants, and more power to him imo.

the intro gave me the nostalgia of the game paradise city
Marshall + Gibson = 🤘
I'd love to see Fly By Night by Rush, great tone on this lesson and thanks for the lessons!
Great band. Great song. And great video!
Great video Guillaume :)
Loved it being a Slash fan XD
Nice !! Love it

That’s the reason why vintage ‘70s/‘80s Gibson humbuckers will cost you a ton of money.

Mans got skills.
Awesome mister I bow to you
Thank you ever so much Paul!! //G

Any chance of adding tone tips for us Katana users? 🙏
On the intro its an open B string... every time
The big yellow MXR m134 is the chorus Slash used on paradise city, the little blue m234 is not a good sounding and tone sucking pedal IMO.
Great lesson. Can you please do a lesson the song Four Day Creep by Humble Pie? Thank you.
Nice Guil 🔥🔥🤘😈🤘🔥🔥
Thanks man, appreciate it as always!! //G
More pink floyd
Will do down the line :) //Guillaume
The tone is there, but when you listen closely, it there is much more played.
Im struggling over year, to get it all into place to full speed 🤷
That is a Gibson les paul standard 50s he uses a 57 les paul gold top
You can't go wrong with LP and a Marshall
Here's a reminder about "Maggot Brain"
Just because I wonder what you think about this sound
The intro fill is done on the neck pickup with a cocked wah 🤦♂️
Salut Guillaume quel es le modèle de cette gibson lespaul ?
Standard 50s ??
Salut :) Oui c'est une 50s standard de 2020! //Guillaume

You missed some notes my guy. Listen to the song again closely. There were parts you screwed up and should fix.
Yeah, this is simplified version. There is lot more going on, but in lot of lessons on youtube this songs is way more butchered.
@@stanislavmigra i just knew notes were missing
Sweet child o mine?
Doesnt sound like it. Unless its my ears.
