In this video we keep moving forward with an update on the rear bed repair using Bondo Glass and Bondo to rebuild the cracks and damage. I am one wet sand away from painting the bed of my OBS Chevy silverado truck.

I’m doing a similar project and I have used the Rust oleum paint a few times but never cleared them and have a couple questions how long after your last coat of color? I hear there can be a reaction causing wrinkling . How Long between your coats of clear than like on your mid coat going to your final clearcoat I love your channel like what you’re doing it’s kind of what I do appreciate your help on this project here
Thank you! As for the times it depends on temperature and humidity. From the gun using rustolium with catalyst I wait about 15 to 20 min for each paint coat. Then either 30 min to clear or I wait a week to let it fully cure then wetsand I never have wrinkle issues. I re coat clear 15 min with medium in the Temps over here its hot. As for the spray cans I wait an hour or 24 hours before painting or clearing over it. The wrinkle is probly the acetone or reducer eating into the paint. From my experience the catalyst added when using the gun will help with the dry time, the uv, and recoat/clear times. Good luck with your projects 👍
