Don't quit. Pause youtube, let hoovie know that his tractor has to wait until things are better. He will understand. Most important thing for now is to get your wife back. Try to find way to decrease some hours of your worktime. Hang in there brother!
The future is not guaranteed my friend. Nobody ever layed on their Deathbed saying "boy, I sure do wish I worked a little harder". Do what is best for you and your family. I am 61 and I am about to be forced into retirement, but the more I think about it maybe they are doing me a favor pushing me out, I won't be rich, but I won't starve. And your peace of mind is worth something. I owe you a lot, I probably would not have bought my 8N tractor if I had not seen your video about it. We may not say it enough but you have provided a great service to a lot of us! Best of luck, whatever you do!
Whatever you end up doing is the right decision. It’s been a crazy ride how I stumbled upon your channel (started off watching Hoovie, then leaned of the Wizard, then kept wondering what’s up with all the older farm equipment around the outside of the building, then discovered your channel). Why the older equipment caught my eye is my dad from 1973-2008 when he passed away worked on old AC, IH/Farmall, Woods, and other misc equipment which I grew up around. It’s neat seeing some of it especially the IH ‘86 series tractors and even the one video where you had a couple of AC/Deutz-Allis/Agco mowers on trying to get them running again. Full disclosure, I think I’ve got one of the best looking Deutz-Allis 612H riding mowers still in existence which runs great and I’m still using today to mow my lawn. Here’s a really stupid observation…down at my dads shop back in the day, he had the same battleship grey heavy desk which you sit at and the only time I’ve ever seen another brown fluorescent desk lamp is the one on your desk that’s in the videos. As a kid I’d play with that thing all the time by hitting the red button on too for too long warming up the bulb to get it to turn on. That thing never died…they must’ve had a sale on them back in the late 70’s. :) Best of luck with whatever direction you wish to go.
This has been a popular topic among RUclipsrs big & small. Sometimes our own lives become like the carnival "plate spinners", darting from one wobbling plate to the next to keep them from crashing. I've always appreciated your authenticity and the grounding in reality that you have in your channel. I don't talk about personal issues on the channel here, but it it's been a wild ride for me too. I have always made an effort to go deeper in a few things than to just give a minimum effort to many things. With that said, I've freshly resigned from the volunteer fire department after 14 years. Big decisions don't come without pain, but after you make the decision you realize how much time & energy you gain to put toward other things that matter. However, you don't have to make a full quit - leave the door open to future videos on fantastic finds. I just did a Short which was less than 10 minutes from the first shot to the finishing of the upload. Each creator is the only one who knows where they want to be, and the truest fans will support them in any future direction. Take care & I wish you the best my friend
Dang this is one of the best channels in my opinion. Love all the content you have with going to auctions and videos on International Harvesters and good ole Comfort Kings! Hope you decide to keep it going
Crazy D, I will sorely miss your admiration for CASE tractors if you decide to quit. But, you have to do what works out best for your personal life. My good friend who is a machinery jockey has noticed it has been tougher to move equipment lately as you have pointed out. Best of Luck to you all.
@@Otherrandomguy42 100% correct. I'm afraid the temporary good prices for crops was all sucked up by fertilizer and seed costs and increased land rental fees and the crazy cost of parts.
Crazy D, com on brother. If you haven’t found true love. But a woman with kids in a war struck country suddenly falls in love and wants to marry. Jesus Christ brother. Not wanting to be the A hole but just look at as your big brother.
He fits the picture of the perfect type to scam. One huge mistake is to be supporting her. Especially with her not even in the country. Sadly, he is one of many she is scamming.
Mr. Dave & Doc i have only been a watcher of your channel for 2 or more years. And i have enjoyed it very much. But you have to do what is the right thing for you. Will i and others miss you, of course we will , but we will survive and so will you. 👍Ronnie
30k subs is an achievement many cant accomplish. Ppl like u obviously. Maybe slow down but don't quit. Congrats on marriage but get a prenup. Too many horror stories out there
Hi Dave . Don't stop bud . If you can put it on the back burner, and not full on you might find how much you miss it . All the best what ever you decide.
I watch another channel that says tractor sales are down. Do what’s best for you. Taking care of yourself enables you to help others. It’s evident that is what you want to do. I learn much from your channel, and enjoy it. Whatever you decide to do, thanks for the show
Sorry to hear that you are thinking about quitting. I enjoy the videos and the ones where you go and walk the auction sites explaining what is coming up. It is your decision brother and you do what is the best for you. Just remember we are all behind you in your decision and will understand and still respect your decision. You take care and God bless you.
I was a Farmer, it was always it'll be better next year! Well, we finally quite, although i miss the farm, sometimes it's best to get while the getting is good! Good Luck with every you decide to do!
I got drafted off the farm in 1967 at age 19, the month my next door farm neighbor, Alexander Zsigo, got killed. Look him up. We farmed 1400 acres. I was sent to the Republic of South Vietnam and blown up. Ruined my farming life. I dislike government f*cks.
Dave, please keep the faith. I'm sure you have been through the cycles before slow and super good. I hope everything works out quickly with your lady. Immigration can be extremely slow and frustrating. I'm always surprised when I think there is no hope, and things turn around and I couldn't be happier! Take care Dave and the whole crazy D family!!
Dave, you need to do what is right for you. If you decide to hang it up you have to do it for the right reason. Best wishes on your personal life. I think as for your lot you seem to be a pretty straightforward with everything. One thing for sure. If you go you will be missed but again, you tell it as it is and I appreciate that.
Hey, Crazy D, we really enjoy your videos and hope you keep making them. If you quit though, it's understandable because there are a lot of trolls who like to make rude comments. Best of luck and God Bless to you and your family.
Hello from the UK (currently in Ireland). Been watching & commenting on your videos for a while. No need to apologize if you decide to quit RUclips. Life gets in the way. You need to do whatever you think best to keep yourself sane. Best wishes in whatever you choose to do.
Crazy D first I want to say congratulations on I hope everything goes good with you and your fiance. I enjoy watching your channel about your tractors and stuff I grew up on a farm I've seen a lot of those pieces of equipment growing up when I was younger dad had Oliver tractors when we was growing up. Is it something maybe down the road you'll consider starting your channel again? Thanks Michael
Hey, I had to write in and tell you to PLEASE DON'T QUIT. My husband and I enjoy your video's. My hubby and I think you are being played. This women give her the boot. It's a scam man. At least DON'T get hooked. This happens all the time. Concentrate on what you can change for you... omg man please cut her loose. We hear of scams all the time. Please don't quit. We hope to see more video's, and you on the lot selling tractors.
The whole fiance/marriage/children thing has overloaded you along with your 2 jobs.... Your difficulty in making a decision may be because you still want to do EVERYTHING.... What is the most important of your 3 major responsibilities...?? Marriage..??? Cars(your main income stream)..??? Used farm equipment...??? Until things stabilize with fiance maybe CDE takes a break...
Well, personal life generally always comes first( congrats & best wishes, btw). There's nothing wrong with putting the tractor sales on hold for awhile, until other things get more sorted & don't demand every minute of the day. Given your background, i can't see you totally giving it up - just hit pause, they & we will be here when you get back! Hope everything works out the way you hope.
Crazy D, I've been watching the channel for a few years, and I've learned so, so much from you all. I can't begin to explain how much I've enjoyed watching your videos. Now ultimately it's your choice to quit, you do whatever is best for you and your family, and if that means quitting then I wish you the best of luck going forward and you will be in my prayers. You will be missed by many Crazy D!!
You’ve done a wonderful job with the channel! With all the spinning plates maybe take break with it until some of the other aspects of life and business have settled down before making a final decision.
Don't give up your livelihood for someone that you've only known a short time, I could see such a drastic move for a lifelong friend or a family member, gotta be honest man, she's taking taking your money
You've got to do what is best for you I have been watching your program Since April 2020 I had knee surgery and you really passed my time for 3 weeks If you decide to quit I will understand But I would like to see you continue Good luck to you😊
My grandfather and mother had a saying "Everything comes out in the wash". Everything works out in the end, no matter the decision you make. You'll be alright. If you hang it up for a bit we'll be waiting. I'm not the type to say "keep positive thoughts" but just realize that somethings are out of your control and it could be worse.
I think a lot of people just enjoy listening to you, and that combined with the interest in classic equipment makes a popular channel- people would miss it quite a bit
I love knowing you're there, as silly as that may sound, since I haven't purchased any equipment from you. I feel like I learn from watching you discuss everything. There's not too many of you left with that 'old time knowledge. I feel like staying true to who you are is most important. That little boy that loved to seek parts, sell parts, and equipment. To leave your path, and go a different way is always your choice. I wish you happiness whichever way you go. Well thats my input, and if I lived closer I'd be right there to buy that new, old Ford 4000 series. I really loved that one. Thanks for the videos, and I'll keep an eye out for more possibly, and if not then I understand. All the best to you.
Hey man. Greetings from Ireland love your channel very intresting we dont get much old tractors from the states over these parts. Sorry to hear about your situation you gotta do what you feel is best. Best of luck
Excellent video Crazy D Equipment Dave :) also go with tractors & machinery you fix up and sell faster! Ones hard to get fix on side and take steps too ! Also take break and one step at time too!

Crazy D, dont quit. It's tought, but you will get through it. If you quit, you can get even more depressed because this is what you were doing since you were a kid. Continue on. Tought times will pass.
Please don’t quit!!!! We love you guys and enjoy your channel!! I’m going through some rough times right now but I gotta keep going and I hope you guys do too!!
I will say I wish you'd reconsider and keep the channel and tractor yard going. You may need to curb other things and don't give up on your personal situation love is always worth the fight. But I also understand something's got to give.
CRAZY D, DO WHATS BEST FOR YOUR PERSONAL LIFE AND YOUR HEALTH AND WELL BEING! DO NOT CONTINUE BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE COMMENTING TO CONTINUE AND THEY WILL MISS YOU! LIFE IS SHORT AND PLEASE DO WHATS BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR NEW BRIDE! MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR DECISION AND VERY BEST WISHES TO YOU! JR N GOESSEL!
Whatever you decide, good luck, because we want what's best for you and your loved ones. I want to thank you for all the good wholesome content that you have put out over the years. Brian
Life is for living, if your work takes over to much your health will suffer. I found knowing when to get in and when to get out is important. Enjoy a different chapter, you can always go back to this later, Omega pays the wage, look after the full time job with the Wizard. Reduce the stress it is important.
Can't say anything that others haven't already said. I wish you, Doc, and everyone else the best. Do what is right for you. Easier said than done. I don't know WTF is right for me. :)
Hang in there Dave. This is just a rough time for you, we've all been through rough times. Things will get better, we will be praying for you and your family 🙏
I was on call 24-7 for 18 years. If I had not quit at 63 I don't think I would have made it to 65. Take care of your family and self. May God give you peace
Don't give up, maybe you need a pause solve one issue or two. Sometimes we get overwhelmed by life, life throws a lot of things at the same time, but we are more capable that what we think!!! I trust you will make the best decision and will get over the top on the next months. :)
Dave, you’re not alone about the economy sucking. It’s an election year and hopefully things will get better after November. Also, the drought that’s gripped the central Kansas area and other areas of the country has cost farmers and others money. Many consumers are just trying to survive now as credit card debt is at a recent all time high. The trickle down effect has reached everyone with inflation costing most of us $$. I’d bet your parts prices have doubled on many items lately and we still are having shortages being blamed on Covid. You need to do what’s best for your own family and business. I’d focus on your family and the rest will fall in place. “Tough times don’t last, tough people do”
First do what you have to do but don't quit in the end you will regret it second, and I say this with all respect I watched your video 3 times I suspect you are suffering from some depression right now which can be dealt with so making life changing decisions right now could be a result of that ? Regardless wishing you nothing but happiness and success however you go forward!
Economy is bad now, who knows when it will recover? Scale back the farm equipment and do it from home? Someday put up a very small shop at home? I have no comment on the marriage. Hope everything works out.
IF I MAY BE SO BOLD... YOur issues with the paperwork will be resolved. Is there such a thing as "throttling back" until that time comes? Can Crzay D live with a slight less attentive state on your part? We all need a breather to reboot now and then. Best Wishes!!!
Well there… hope you do what’s wright for you and your family. That’s all anyone can do. Wish you were closer I would come down and buy one but Maines just to damn far. Keep us posted
i was made in 1951 ,i got two 8n made 1952 not running that ok ,will fix this year ,been saying that for six years now but feel luckey this year . got my wife from the philliphine my lawyer was mr. dean he did a great job . take one day at a time ,you can do it . good luck
you have to do what is right for you. If you do hang it up or take a short vacation, we will miss you but understand. You have to do whats right for you and do what supports your family. PS, I have been married to a foreign national (German) for over 20 some years. I got told al sorts of thing the same as you probably are. So I understand that side of things to. I cant advise you there other than go into the life event and be smart about it. These things in life can go either way. Seen them go great like me, and seen some go the other ways. all I can say is good luck....
Dave, if you are able to keep making a living, I'd be a bit worried about any career change these days. But if the business is tanking, well you still have to make a living! Might consider expanding to other lines of merchandise that there's a demand for, in your part of the world. We all have to make life's choices, not always what we like to do but necessary. I had to cut back on the off farm work as my health won't allow all the extra hours and work anymore. Also means I need to cut back spending as well. Which ever way the next big election goes will also change the playing field, no matter who gets chosen. Right now farm prices are down, so guys are backing off their buying, but it will change, just how long can one hold their breath ,that makes things worry some.
Dave I'm going to miss your videos a lot if you stop. 😢 But you know what is best for yourself doesn't matter about anything else.❤ Really enjoy the auction videos its been like going there in person. 👍👍😎😎 Pat from northwest WI
Unfortunately, it seems we get a certain age we have to take along hard look at things. Question for you: Would you be happy if you stopped? Demographics play a big part on pricing. Some of the case tractors you sold you basically could not give away in our area. Biggest decision is make yourself happy in what you want to do.
Hi I'm so about your friend from the Ukraine I have been in a 16 year relationship with a lady from Kyiv hopefully soon she is going to move with me. Please any advice would be appreciated. Love your show
Without you I would not have my 1964 case 430 diesel , best old tractor . Runs at 1700 rpm and can pull 3 plows at 34 hp when the book says 2 for that hp.
I am planting corn with a fully loaded 6 row John Deere 7200 today and my planter tractor is down with a flat rear tire. I had to use a 1969 430 Case Diesel and that little machine is simply incredible. Our pump is turned up to just over 530 specs, so about 45 hp. What a great little tractor.
There is a RUclips on the 430 530 based on Case material , The 430/ 530 had more displacement , lower speed for the horsepower . The 188d and the gas engine had more main bearings . Other competitors with same HP were two plow machines the 430 was 3 and the 530 was 3 in all conditions and 4 in many !
@@don66hotrod94 Is there a video on how to make the 188d on mine like a 530? Or does the rebuilder have to do it ? I have the Old unobtainium injectors , are they the same or do you have to go bigger ?

I would hate to see you go; however you have to do, what you think is best for you. The main thing is to take care of yourself.
Crazy D, dont quit. It's tought, but you will get through it. If you quit, you can get even more depressed because this is what you were doing since you were a kid. Continue on. Tought times will pass.
Do what you need to do. Only you can decide. Most of us are behind you all the way.

I will say I wish you'd reconsider and keep the channel and tractor yard going. You may need to curb other things and don't give up on your personal situation love is always worth the fight. But I also understand something's got to give.
Your doing a awesome job. I really hope you can keep selling equipment.
CRAZY D, DO WHATS BEST FOR YOUR PERSONAL LIFE AND YOUR HEALTH AND WELL BEING! DO NOT CONTINUE BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE COMMENTING TO CONTINUE AND THEY WILL MISS YOU! Hi CD, take a break on Your channel to focus on all else. Best of luck.
Heard about you from Mr hood pliers. Enjoy your videos.
Best of luck, life is tough but you got this 👍
I was on call 24-7 for 18 years. If I had not quit at 63 I don't think I would have made it to 65. Take care of your family and self. May God give you peace
just pray about it !!! the answer will come !!!
Don't give up, maybe you need a pause solve one issue or two. Sometimes we get overwhelmed by life, life throws a lot of things at the same time, but we are more capable that what we think!!! I trust you will make the best decision and will get over the top on the next months. :)
Hang in there. We all support you and enjoy your videos. Tough times don't last, tough people do.
You could move it to doctor. Just to be safe. Even it goes on as a small sidebusiness.
“Tough times don’t last, tough people do”
You do what feels best for you and your family. You will be missed but first and foremost you take care of you and your family.
good luck on your future what ever you decide. you are the only one who has too live with what you decide so do what is best for you.

It's been a bad economy for sure. Best of luck to you whatever you decide! I hope everything works out for you! God bless you!
Really have enjoyed your videos. That being said you need to take care of yourself and your family. You will know the answer.
you have to do what is right for you.
U got 30k subs , dont quit
Dave I'm going to miss your videos a lot if you stop. 😢
But you know what is best for yourself doesn't matter about anything else.❤ Really enjoy the auction videos its been like going there in person. 👍👍😎😎
Pat from northwest WI
Hang in there Dave. Remember God has the right plan, so trust in him. Also thank God that November is around the corner. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best of luck no matter what you decide to do.
Hey Crazy D! I really like your videos, sorry the lot is not going very well. Hope things get better.
Love your show
I want a 1470 and get my model C going and a trail plow that I can plow with, so until then you can't
There is a RUclips on the 430 530 based on Case material ,
The 430/ 530 had more displacement
, lower speed for the horsepower . The 188d and the gas engine had more main bearings .
Other competitors with same HP were two plow machines the 430 was 3 and the 530 was 3 in all conditions and 4 in many !
Or search for
Case 430 530 Promotional Filmstrip

Is there a video on how to make the 188d on mine like a 530?
Or does the rebuilder have to do it ?
I have the Old unobtainium injectors , are they the same or do you have to go bigger ?
@@josephpadula2283 I don't know of any videos. My rebuilder asked me where I wanted it set, at 430, 530, or 630 hp. I'm guessing it's pretty easy.
Not happy about that. From Songea, Tanzania.
enjoy the videos keep doing what you love to do
