yeah got mine going broke it right, damn rope sucks ill say. you try a bump box with stock mounts yet? just wondering if it works mine was pretty finiky damn brakes to tight, when i would stop it would die out and not enought heat in that engine ill say, got the 4 platnum plug today so see how it runs, pipe i got really woke it up it sems got faster throttle servo as the searing is faster than throttle so they sent me a free servo
Not sure yet. I thought I would need to gear it up but Stock gearing is pretty good for bashing and ripping around the track but I think I am going to get the HD clutch shoes before I do.
The Traxxas fuel is fine. I have run it for years in the Traxxas I have. A lot of the brands are actually made by the same company so they are comparable.
Anything less than 8 tanks can actually cause harm to the engine. The first 2 should be just idling up to temp. The next 6 should progressively lean with 2 second throttle bursts.
@@tannercurtis1836 DO NOT break in a two stroke engine at idle speed. All modern manufacturers, including Traxxas, Kyosho, Losi, recommend running in 5 tanks without reaching maximum speed. No need to invent.
@reaklyf3451 you can break in your engines however you want. I'll stick with industry professional tried and true methodology. Manufacturers give you fast break in guides because people are lazy and don't want to take the right path to help the piston lap to the sleeve. They want power now, even if it costs them an engine. I've seen too many blow up from quick break in, there's no convincing me otherwise.
@@tannercurtis1836 It's funny that you think that way about manufacturers. The manufacturer's interest is to provide the best possible buyer experience. But, if you still don’t believe it, just read the information of professionals on this matter on the Internet.

@@GussCustomCreations Alright, I have a 14t installed that I want to put on my XT but I was wondering how it would move with a 17T, I think it wont have any bottom end power, I'm going to install the 13t and remove the back plate to get a little more top end speed. Thanks brother.
@@NitroRcDr If you are just looking for speed the 17 should be okay but it is going to get a little boggy at lower speed. It will also depend on the terrain you are driving on and what you are doing. If you run street a 17 should be ok
That is one chill dog you have there. Well until he has a nitro coming straight for him anyway. Fantastic first little rip indeed.
He used to be more crazy but he's super used to the RC now and they don't phase him
I used to run nitros way back in the day. Like late 80s-early 90s. It was amazing how you could hold your finger on the cylinder head @ 19:30.
Nitro are fun for sure!
Don’t have cut it it’s the reusable ties all you have to do is press the release tab just found that out after cutting 3 off 👍🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Interesting, I didn't even pay attention. I still probably would have just cut it off 😂

After 7 quarts I still haven't broken mine it's been good. The stock mount should be fine for the hump box
That is a very nice truck! Great to see a channel with some nitro content . Subbed!
Thanks man 👍 More to come soon 👍👊💯
What size and brand clutch are you Up grading to. Mine is stock but would like to have some more top end. It’s a bad ass truggy

Thanks for the offer. I will let you know. Thanks! 👍🤜🤛💯
How did you like the Traxxas fuel? Do you still use it?

Nice Place
Thanks I appreciate it
Another nitro!!! Nice
You know it!
To bumb box it you will need to change the motor mounts and backplate
Yeah I picked up the back plate. Going to convert it soon.
And another little tip , butt up the header to the pipe, so there is no gap between the header and the pipe.
I learned those tips from watching botajell RUclips channel,
Where do you get the motor mount change
how is the tuneability? for the dyn 28
It's great. Tunes in super easy and runs fantastic
they got cheap they used to come with adjustb turn buckles
Where did you buy it? Can’t find the v2 anywhere
I got it from horizon hobby. Here's a link to the Amazon store to get one. amzn.to/3DuqAf8
O IT IS SET UP FOR BUMB BOX ALREADY I GOT PIPE AND STUFF ALSO BACK PLATE COMING
Yes sir. I still haven't converted mine yet. I have the back plate but I guess until the rope breaks it's good enough lol
Yours still running good. How many gallons fuel have you ran through it. Wonder how long that motor will hold up pretty cheap motor to buy really

Yeah I got back plate coming. Mine get delivered tomorrow. How was the carb set from factory

How many tanks does it take to break in? I just got mine in the mail today!
Per the Manual 3 tanks of figure 8s. I did 4 tanks though. 1 tank was just idling for 2 10 minute heat cycles
