I will listen to this before going to bed so i can hear yiu say "Good night"~
By the way, it has been raining so hard in my place for several days. And the rain stopped around the time Chou-kun's song was released 😳 in the beginning of the song, there are raindrops sound...
I post this outside but it seems to get floated away, i think i should write an *explaination* for my *lyrics-translation* ; w ; I have read about the Kisaragi Station story before and when re-translating this song i re-read it once again. I know there are some other theories and translations floating elsewhere, but i want to share my thoughts and make it clear at some points that fits the story more and better at translation. If you have read that creepypasta you will understand the song more ; w ; Then here we go~ “Disappears at the railways crossing line The night train should turn as it’s expected to The music from emptiness that can’t be heard” I think this part told us about the train’s disappearance and went away after the character got off from it. As we know, the character got on a train and it kept running for more than 1 hour and stopped at a deserted station. “Swaying letters even start to dance from the train station Today there was a person departed from there” These sentences described the situation at which the character saw train station’s name as Kisaragi, but it wasn’t written clearly (The kanji for that name can read as devil). She was nervous as it’s a strange place, that could explain for how she saw the letters swayed and danced. The 2nd sentence is written under 3rd-person-view for how she got off the train and left the station to seek out for help. “Keep fooling around like this You just pretend that you have understood, While doing nothing” These told us about how she called 110 for police but they thought that she made a joke, her parents also contacted police but they seemed to be slow. “You” here can be understood as they - the police, they listened to her story but didn’t really believe in her. “From those days, it has come to a stop Today also at this place Noone can see me Noone can chase after me” The event had happened for a time already, and she still lost at that strange place, noone there except mysterious creatures. Noone (human being) can see her. Noone (mysterious creatures and sounds) can chase her (as she was chased by weird drum sound after her, seeing one-legged man behind, etc.) “Cross over the railway Hope not to be seen again, I point my eyes downward Today it’s also raining” In the story, she thought that if she went along the railway she could go back to where the train started. And at that moment, she was still being chased by weird drum sound elsewhere afar, then she tried to go away from it. (Above are my thoughts. There are other theories about these parts and i think it’s also interesting). “January 8th, 2004 - 23:00 It’s ridiculous that the electric train doesn’t stop. At last it stops. Where is this place? I don’t know of such a train station before. I want to leave here. Is there noone here?? The drum sounds from afar- -that--a prank--- --see from---” This’s simply a short summary for Kisaragi Station story. In other translation elsewhere, i saw the word “太鼓/drum” is mis-translated as “太/sun” because perhaps the translator mis-read 1 letter from the full word. The story background happened around midnight, there was no sun and she was chased by drum sounds that kept following her. “Where is this place I looked around the nearby There’s nothing, nothing It shouldn’t be here either It will disappear tomorrow, tomorrow won’t come” This part told about how she started looking around for more information and seeking for help around the nearby. But she couldn’t find anything and anybody that could help her. The last 2 sentences might tell about how she shouldn’t be there or something shouldn’t be there as she saw mysterious creatures such as the one-legged old man and heard drum sound afar. Then maybe she started to lose hope “tomorrow won’t come” as she couldn’t find a way to escape there. “That thing is somehow - therefore - it comes from this way I keep heading forward But can’t see anything there” These lyrics sentences is written on specific place in video, high and low and left and right, as it described the way of “それ/that thing” (undertood as “the train”). She decided to follow back the train, go along the railway, “keep heading forward” but she “can’t see anything there” as in the story it was in the middle of a dark night and nothing helpful around was found. “So that However I close my mouth As i want to listen I turn toward the other way I turn toward this way” These sentences are written with distance between (in video), to describe that she was in panic and had to made choice, looked back and forth in 2 directions. At that moment she must have come to the tunnel and had to keep quiet to hear around. “The truth is i wish to be welcomed Ah, so well then Good night” She did wish that there was someone to welcome her and to pick her up. In the story, after got out of the tunnel she found a man waiting for her and offered help. After that she followed the man to a train then her phone seemed almost out of battery. “Ah, well then. Good night” might be her saying goodbye to the one she was talking with through her phone, or might be to everyone. Remember it was late in the night when she got lost at that place, “good night” sounds reasonable and sad. “Noone can see me anymore Noone can chase after me anymore” I think she started to lose more hope, as she couldn’t escape there after many efforts (seeking help outside the train station, going back along the railway, following the strange (kind) man to get on another train). “Cross over the train station Hope to be seen once again, I point my eyes downward Today it’s raining again” She really hoped to escape there as she left the train station to seek for people that could help her. In hope that she could go back to where she came from, and found some people. “Noone can see me Where did i disappear to?” She found noone, noone could she her there. It’s her question in desperate voice as she didn’t know where she came to. “I hope you won’t come here I should have firmly stopped, should have been like that” This is her wish and warning to other people, that she hoped they “won’t come here” to this place. And she should have waited at the train station or shouldn’t have gotten off the train (the one talking with her did warn her to go back into the train, and should waited at that station after she found out that the train had gone). Thank you for reading all of this long explaination! These are my thoughts linked to the original story. I hope i can be of help for Chou-kun and the ones who need translation. I’m glad to be able to talk or have a discussion with everyone! Sending lots of love ; w ;

I post this outside but it seems to get floated away, i think i should write an *explaination* for my *lyrics-translation* ; w ; I have read about the Kisaragi Station story before and when re-translating this song i re-read it once again. I know there are some other theories and translations floating elsewhere, but i want to share my thoughts and make it clear at some points that fits the story more and better at translation. If you have read that creepypasta you will understand the song more ; w ; Then here we go~
“Disappears at the railways crossing line
The night train should turn as it’s expected to
The music from emptiness that can’t be heard”
I think this part told us about the train’s disappearance and went away after the character got off from it. As we know, the character got on a train and it kept running for more than 1 hour and stopped at a deserted station.
“Swaying letters even start to dance from the train station
Today there was a person departed from there”
These sentences described the situation at which the character saw train station’s name as Kisaragi, but it wasn’t written clearly (The kanji for that name can read as devil). She was nervous as it’s a strange place, that could explain for how she saw the letters swayed and danced. The 2nd sentence is written under 3rd-person-view for how she got off the train and left the station to seek out for help.
“Keep fooling around like this
You just pretend that you have understood, While doing nothing”
These told us about how she called 110 for police but they thought that she made a joke, her parents also contacted police but they seemed to be slow. “You” here can be understood as they - the police, they listened to her story but didn’t really believe in her.
“From those days, it has come to a stop
Today also at this place
Noone can see me
Noone can chase after me”
The event had happened for a time already, and she still lost at that strange place, noone there except mysterious creatures. Noone (human being) can see her. Noone (mysterious creatures and sounds) can chase her (as she was chased by weird drum sound after her, seeing one-legged man behind, etc.)
“Cross over the railway
Hope not to be seen again, I point my eyes downward
Today it’s also raining”
In the story, she thought that if she went along the railway she could go back to where the train started. And at that moment, she was still being chased by weird drum sound elsewhere afar, then she tried to go away from it. (Above are my thoughts. There are other theories about these parts and i think it’s also interesting).
“January 8th, 2004 - 23:00
It’s ridiculous that the electric train doesn’t stop.
At last it stops. Where is this place? I don’t know of such a train station before.
I want to leave here. Is there noone here??
The drum sounds from afar-
-that--a prank---
--see from---”
This’s simply a short summary for Kisaragi Station story. In other translation elsewhere, i saw the word “太鼓/drum” is mis-translated as “太/sun” because perhaps the translator mis-read 1 letter from the full word. The story background happened around midnight, there was no sun and she was chased by drum sounds that kept following her.
“Where is this place
I looked around the nearby
There’s nothing, nothing
It shouldn’t be here either
It will disappear tomorrow, tomorrow won’t come”
This part told about how she started looking around for more information and seeking for help around the nearby. But she couldn’t find anything and anybody that could help her. The last 2 sentences might tell about how she shouldn’t be there or something shouldn’t be there as she saw mysterious creatures such as the one-legged old man and heard drum sound afar. Then maybe she started to lose hope “tomorrow won’t come” as she couldn’t find a way to escape there.
“That thing is somehow - therefore - it comes from this way
I keep heading forward
But can’t see anything there”
These lyrics sentences is written on specific place in video, high and low and left and right, as it described the way of “それ/that thing” (undertood as “the train”). She decided to follow back the train, go along the railway, “keep heading forward” but she “can’t see anything there” as in the story it was in the middle of a dark night and nothing helpful around was found.
“So that However
I close my mouth As i want to listen
I turn toward the other way I turn toward this way”
These sentences are written with distance between (in video), to describe that she was in panic and had to made choice, looked back and forth in 2 directions. At that moment she must have come to the tunnel and had to keep quiet to hear around.
“The truth is i wish to be welcomed
Ah, so well then
Good night”
She did wish that there was someone to welcome her and to pick her up. In the story, after got out of the tunnel she found a man waiting for her and offered help. After that she followed the man to a train then her phone seemed almost out of battery. “Ah, well then. Good night” might be her saying goodbye to the one she was talking with through her phone, or might be to everyone. Remember it was late in the night when she got lost at that place, “good night” sounds reasonable and sad.
“Noone can see me anymore
Noone can chase after me anymore”
I think she started to lose more hope, as she couldn’t escape there after many efforts (seeking help outside the train station, going back along the railway, following the strange (kind) man to get on another train).
“Cross over the train station
Hope to be seen once again, I point my eyes downward
Today it’s raining again”
She really hoped to escape there as she left the train station to seek for people that could help her. In hope that she could go back to where she came from, and found some people.
“Noone can see me
Where did i disappear to?”
She found noone, noone could she her there. It’s her question in desperate voice as she didn’t know where she came to.
“I hope you won’t come here
I should have firmly stopped, should have been like that”
This is her wish and warning to other people, that she hoped they “won’t come here” to this place. And she should have waited at the train station or shouldn’t have gotten off the train (the one talking with her did warn her to go back into the train, and should waited at that station after she found out that the train had gone).
Thank you for reading all of this long explaination! These are my thoughts linked to the original story. I hope i can be of help for Chou-kun and the ones who need translation. I’m glad to be able to talk or have a discussion with everyone! Sending lots of love ; w ;

You're voice makes this song so much better somehow. I honestly thought the original video was a fever dream I had cause I couldn't find it in my history after the first time I watched it. But now I'm glad to know I wasn't going nuts.

I NEVER THOUGHT ID HEAR A COVER OF THIS SONG SINCE ITS SO DAMN HARD TO FIND
LOVE YOUR VOICE AS ALWAYS

HE'S IN OUR CULT
It’s me again, i think i should write an *explaination* for my *lyrics-translation* ; w ; I have read about the Kisaragi Station story before and when re-translating this song i re-read it once again.
Today there was a person departed from there”
These sentences described the situation at which the character saw train station’s name as Kisaragi (きさらぎ), and the kanji of devil (鬼) can also be read as kisaragi.

And at that moment, she was still being chased by weird drum sound elsewhere afar, then she tried to go away from it. (Above are my thoughts.
