Rock Star is one of my favorite movies of all time.
My band opened for him and Slash and I’m not easily impressed but this guy is a real talented singer no joke. Professional dude!
Myles is such a cool guy!!! The only time I heard someone else singing Axl's vocals that made me think... "Oh! This could work." Love this movie as well. "You're not hitting that squeal right!"
Gosh! I love Myles personality 🤩
THOR!!! GOD OF THUNDAAAAHHHH!!!!🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
I first heard of Myles from watching that movie! I watched it with the directors commentary and he said Myles had one of he best voices out of everyone they worked with so I searched for info about him online and found The Mayfield Four and bought their albums and have been a huge fan since! 🤘🏼
Astonishing voice, amazing guitarist, great sense of humour and social anxiety, I love him so much ❤️ he's the sweetest and the funniest
"Me being me, I walked behind all the photographers" LOLOL.
Michael Starr of Steel Panther was also in the film Rock Star - he appears briefly having failed the audition just before Mark Wahlberg arrives.
That’s Ralph Saenz AKA Michael Starr lol
And he was doing David Lee Roth screams so I guess they were auditioning "Roth" after he left Van Halen.
So was Zakk Wylde, Jason Bonham and Jeff Pilson
“The magic power of Kokanee Beer..!” 😂 I can confirm, the struggle is real. Cheers from BC Canada 🇨🇦🍻
Cheers 🍻
I still watch it every chance I get!!
I remember seeing it in the Movie Theater and as the closing credit fly by people in the audience were all saying how they MUST get this soundtrack immediately....
Michael Starr from Steel Panther is also in the movie Rockstar, blink and you'll miss him haha
I just watched the movie no joke and I realized it was him after I rewinded it
I tell this to everyone because I have abused everyone in my circle of friends with steel panther and they have all seen rock star lolol
Thats right!!!
What part?
Stand up and shouuuuuuuuuttttttttttttttt...I always forget Johnny fuckin Christ has a podcast. So sick \m/ \m/ I remember seeing the songwriter who wrote a lot of the lyrical songs on Rockstar at Lucky Strike in Hollywood around 2015. He sounded great live with his band. That's a very underrated stage in Hollywood. I loved playing the Lucky Strike stage and watching gigs there.
Still one of my favorite movies.
I remember getting it on DVD in 2000, about a year before 9-11-01. But to remember back 20 years it's in that same memory period block I think Myles is talking about.
I thought it came out in theaters 4 days before 9-11...
@@Shooter_FPV that's soo weird as I just looked it up and your right but everything with my memory is all FUBAR with pre and post 9-11 with everthing haha. Thanks for the correction.
No worries... there are weird things I remember about that period of time. The movie tanked, but as others have said, it could have been due to 9-11... but who knows. I'll always be a hair metal head and I loved the movie...
One of the best songs from the movie is from Kane Roberts called Reckless so heavy and grooving !
I've watched that movie too long ago to have known who was Myles then. I knew about Zakk Wylde though.
I gotta watch it again right now
Myles is forever young .
Little gray in the muzzle like the rest of we 80s metalheads 🤘😛🤘but he is a phenomenal singer.
I love that movie! so funny to hear about his scene with Mark..
Let’s not forget that Marky Mark got famous for pulling his pants down and walking with them around his ankles. 😂.
I just watched the scene with Marky Mark and Miles. I wouldn’t have noticed the belly differences if Miles hadn’t pointed it out.
We fondly call him Marky Mark! Always have always will
dude let your guests do the talking and stop interrupting. myles keeps trying to talk and elaborate and you keep interjecting to make it about you. jesus this was a difficult watch.
I thought the same thing 1:10 he's about to tell a story and this guy shuts him down
😂😂😂 you could put a drink on it
It’s a visual
My idol!
This movie made me want to learn how to sing!
2 living legends
Miles looks like Kevin Bacon
Such a good movie
Legendär! 😎🤘
Wasn’t Jeff Pilson the musical director?
Myles is the looks like the imaginary son of Tommy Shaw and Jared Leto .... with the talent of Geoff Tate and Dio.
I'm happy that they gave a shout out to Jeff and Miljenko (one of the finest voices ever), but I was kind of sad they didn't have anything to say about working with some of the biggest names in rock playing the musicians in Steel Dragon. Zakk (Ozzy), Jeff Pilson (Dokken), Jason Bonham (Duh)....just being around those guys would have been ridiculous for the level of cool stories being told. That's not counting all the other great musicians in the film in other roles or bands.
Also, Blas Elias, drummer from Slaughter
Agreed...
I knew this year's ago....
Trevor Rabin did the music!
🤟🤟🔥
Coke and beer. Meaning coca cola?
Kokanee beer from British Columbia.
Mark Wahlberg did an outstanding job with the vocals. Sounded like a genuine rock-star. I believe he could have front his own metal band in the 80’s.
Lol He didn't sing
Milo from Steelheart recorded all of the vocals from the Soundtrack.
Um….
@@alexlebon6456 also Jeff Scott Soto
Mark actually did sing also.
Never liked his voice just doesn't work for me
good evening Mr Kennedy,🤝😁👌
