You can still hear the music and therefore enjoy it in a familiar way right? If you're deaf, say goodbye to that. Also no shade on deaf people. You can still enjoy music but just not the same way. Point is, joy is always present, you merely have to be open to it!

Interesting to hear talk from a person who can't even spell the guys name 😜 It's Myles. It's even in the title. How familiar with the guy can you be if you don't know how to spell his name? I'm just giving you a hard time all in fun man. He's definitely one of the best rock vocalists alive today. There's a few phenomenal rock vocalists up there with him. Brent Smith is up there. One I feel like some people forget about is Chris Daughtry. I've never been the biggest fan but the guy has a phenomenal voice.

I'm amazed to hear Myles talk about the challenge of remembering lyrics, chord progressions, and then reproducing them all at once for a performance. I've always thought it was something only bedroom amateurs like myself or absolute beginners struggle with. Myles performs with such raw talent that it appears to be just pouring out effortlessly. I have two Alterbridge live dvds, and seeing talents like Myles and Mark (Tremonti) perform together on stage so effortlessly it's too easy to forget there is hard work going on there. The thing I appreciate most about what Myles brings to that band really is the extra guitar. He is way too humble about his guitar playing ability in this interview!
