It's like listening to my daughter. She was recently diagnosed and it took years of misery before they said the G word. She eats baby food but only a few will stay down. We discussed Reglan and decided the risks far out weighed the possible benefits. Since this video my small intestinal motility has caught up with my stomach so I rely on TPN but I can still eat a little most days without throwing up. We tried many medications, multiple times if they did cause severe reactions, but I'm at the point where we decided it's best to just treat my nausea and pain so I can be stable enough to live my life and stay out of the hospital as much as possible.
I just got diagnosed and do have an eating disorder. I am 35 years old and have had an eating disorder since age 12. I after a year and half finally I got taken seriously. your message calmed me down. thank u! are there any message boards I can go to ? my family does. not get it. if u do not respond it is all ok. my hope is you are having a peaceful day . hugs
