@@wesmains ya, that's how i always used to make it ( dropping a ball of ganche in the center or the ramekin) I found myself in the mood for a lava cake, so i looked up recipes and now I want to try this method, it looks so much easier!

I baked them for 7 min but they needed an extra 2 ( at least) because they were baked just out of the fridge. Otherwise perfect!

Great recipe! I use a similar one. Instead of white sugar I use brown sugar as it gives a nicer molasses flavor. I also put frozen ganaches in the center to provide the lava. The batter though is the same.

I used this recipe today, except I made two massive lava cakes in 10 oz ramekins and adjusted bake time to about 11 mins. They were extra runny, so probably could’ve used another minute or two in the oven. They tasted fantastic though! Thanks for the recipe 😊
