What a great tutorial. No unnecessary filler chat and best of all NO music. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Great sounding recipes AND a sensible amount of sugar and baking powder too. So many recipes nowadays use ridiculous amounts of both and, too much baking powder (or soda) tastes disgusting - at least to me. I just have to assume some people aren't as sensitive to the taste of it as l am. My only criticism is while it's great you've put the recipes on screen, it would be great if you could also pin them so they can be easily found. Thanks.
The current format of your videos is simply perfect and most of the recipes we found on your channel have been a hit. Thank you for being clear and straight to the point!
Absolutely! It's such a great way to satisfy those sweet cravings whenever they arise, without having to bake a large serving (of cake, pies, squares, etc) at once. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks so much for watching!
I have used the premixed packages of mug cakes and love them. There is something special about eating a warm cake. Thanks for these simple recipes to make a lovely little dessert.
Can't believe I'm sayng this, but this is finally a recipie for mug cake that tasted Good! I just made the coffe cake (added bit of powdered coffee to my batter and double the cinnamon) and it was really good! Most mug cakes I have tried are squishy and weird and almost tasteless. I didn't even finish watching the video before I went to make the chocolate one! 😆I made it low cal by subbing cottage cheese for 2/3 of the oil, and using low carb flour and sugar free maple syrup. It needs a spoonful of sweetener in the dry mix, I think. Not quite sweet enough using just the maple syrup. Still a tasty little dessert, once it cools off enough to eat!
@@toastyapron made the strawberry vanilla one later too! (with raspberries instead). This time I added 1T monkfruit and that seems to be right for the sugar free version of this. Looking forward to making more!

Thank you for sharing. Can I make these and bake them in the oven instead of the microwave? If so, what temperature would I set the oven to and for how long?
Hey there! Yes you can certainly make these in the oven/toaster oven as well if you prefer, for about 15-25 minutes at 350°F. The duration will depend on your oven, but I'd start with 15 and then do the toothpick test - then add time as needed. Hope that helps - I'd love to hear how they turn out for you!

How long do they need to rest out if the microwave?
@ottocarmanjones7143 Hey! I usually let them sit for about 2 minutes or so after cooking - that’s usually more than enough time to cool down!

Or you can mix a regular box cake with a boxed angel food cake, add 3 tablespoons of mixture, 2 tablespoons of water in a mug and nuke for 1 minute.
All of the recipes use all purpose flour. Oat flour would be healthier and could have been mentioned as an alternative. But they do look delicious.
