To change acm box - Change Radar/IRST Search Mode
Search mode only good if enemy going cold or he's trying to notch

Been playing F-14B with AIM-54C’s nonstop for days and I’ve gotten maybe three kills with the Phoenix? Feel like I’ve tried everything. Earlier today was up about 22,000 feet, fired down at an F-15, kept lock on him almost the entire time, watched the missile streaking towards him from behind. F-15 made no defensive moves. I got smoked by a Sparrow right before my Phoenix should’ve hit. My Phoenix did not hit. Of the 100+ Phoenixes I’ve sent at the enemy by now, I swear at least a couple should accidentally hit something at some point…

Prolly ran out of energy and you don’t have to keep a radar lock the whole time

Thats weird, literally just got in the f14a and got 3 kills with aim54a my first game of the day. I don't know why but the 54a seems better then 54c. Try using 54a with the f14b and tell me how it goes, I have seen some people comment and said that the 54a is better then the 54c for some reason. Even after the buff the aim54 got recently.

option - air battle settings - use rectangular radar indicator.

u can see the line at the radar that indicate the launch range

Red Square is the optical sight on the F14B it just locks on whenever you radar lock and stays their until you change lock or manually turn it off

Wait what , you can land on airfield while loosing your gears on the plane and therefore your plane is damaged now , but but but you are not considered dead when you insta leave your vehicle?😮
And you can dodge the repair time by doing so?😮
