This is probably the most thorough compilation of tips not just for overlanding in Baja, but in all of Mexico. I'm Mexican and currently live in a beach town in a different state, and it's so important to remind people not to drive on the soft sand, because they really do end up decimating turtle populations. It's also important to let our visitors from the north know that, on two-lane roads, the left lane is ONLY for passing (and we ONLY overtake on the left). I drive long distances frequently and often see foreign-plated vehicles driving on the left lane even though they have no intention of overtaking another vehicle or passing cars on the right lane, and it's extremely dangerous.
Thank you. And yes, definitely try to follow the local driving rules to ensure everyone's safety.
Very well explained, all this advice is useful for Mexico as well as for all other countries with great tourism due to their friendly people, culture and appreciably beautiful nature.
Boa viagem. Buen viaje. Bon voyage.

A lot of farmers in Texas also have Mexican heritage and traditions especially near the rural parts of border
