When I watched both open and see eachothers mini put a genuine smile on my face. Both minis are amazing and you guys deserve all the credit. This episode was a joy to watch. ❤
Great job on your elf, man! I know everyone is able to spot all their flaws on their paintjobs, but as an outside observer, it's really great! And always remember that while you're learning from Murph, people learn from you since you're sharing your journey. For example, I really like your TMM and have started using some of your techniques. It's one big happy community of love (or at least it should be lol).
This was fun to watch. Really interesting section from Murph - what amazing smooth transitions! Really great seeing the mutual respect evident on the reveals!
Really love the Dark Elves range, especially the model revisions between 6~8th edition. Always happy to see them given visibility, hopefully GW doesn't forget them
When i saw the thumbnail I wrongly assumed the brighter model was yours lol they both look so good! Awesome to see you paint a little more "grim dark" even though i love your bright old school style
Great video! Both miniatures painted perfectly, I'm surprised Murph doesn't have his own channel. I love Eldar, but fantasy Elves not so much, bit weird 😅
Great video. Don't be too hard on yourself, your painting has come along in leaps and bounds, you should be proud of what you have achieved. They are both terrific paint jobs. I've done a few mini swaps over the years just like this and the only problem for me is that I really don't want to let go of something I've just spent so much time on 😂
Thanks mate! I really appreciate that! 🍻 haha I know the feeling! I was as a little sad to see it go but when I got my hands on that wraithguard I was pretty happy 😆
I think you gave yourself a tough mini to paint! It has a lot of different zones, each with a lot of detail so you gave yourself lots of opportunities to think "oh if only I'd done [this or that] bit differently" but in the end you smashed it! The Eavy Metal painters of 2004 would be coming to you for advice! Keep up the great work and don't beat yourself up so much!
The word purple definitely started to lose all meaning at one point 🤣 seriously though, they are both ace, great show of how different styles produce great effects. Loved it as always Deets. Stay cool brother 🤝
I've got a squad of those Wraithguard stashed away somewhere. I should probably give them a touch up, it's a pretty basic paint job that I did in the early 90's.
Gorgeous couple of minis. Really beautiful fades on Murph's eldar, but equally a superb palette on your druchii with the best painted face I've seen in a long time. Nothing at all to be ashamed of there Deets. Now if you look at my painting table on the other hand ... 😂
Thank you! 😊 Yeah I have a short video on the channel called a quick guide to painting faces and I run through my colours and how I approach faces. I hope that helps! 🙌
Both are gorgeous models. That blend on the visor of the eldar is wild
Thanks mate! Murph is a true talent, I don’t know how he does it 🙌
@@anvilofdoomminiatures you guys are great! Loved the reds in your cape and the purple gradients

Thank you so much! It was easily one of my favourite hobby projects so far. I’m glad you enjoyed the episode! 😊🙌
Murph put together a really well done painting tutorial, everything in focus, not too much in the shot, good audio. Well done
I couldn’t agree more dude. He needs to start his own painting tutorial channel! He will go far.
Awesome format. You're onto something unique. MORE
Thanks so much dude!
LOVE both of these. Yes, the Wraithguard is better painted technically, but the difference is definitely not as big as you think! Both are gorgeous.
“I’ve got some real work to do.”
He says, right before showing both miniatures that look equally amazing!
Haha thanks dude! 🍻👊
Holy shit, I know Murph! He used to work at our old small town FLGS many, many moons ago.
Awesome minis from both of you guys!

Thanks so much mate! I completely agree and thanks for the response 🤝 great to hear that you’re enjoying and getting something from the channel 🍻
Both of the miniatures looked great. It was neat to see the different painting styles.
Thanks mate!
Both minis look beautiful! Thanks for the awesome vid!
Thanks mate!
Phenomenal work on that Delf Lord, simply beautiful stuff. And I guess the Wraith Guard wasn't too shabby either, hehe.
Thanks so much dude!
I'm already an avid follower of both you guys. You each exemplify everything that's awesome about this hobby community.
Thanks so much dude! Too kind! 🤝🍻

Really love the Dark Elves range, especially the model revisions between 6~8th edition. Always happy to see them given visibility, hopefully GW doesn't forget them
They are beauts! Great range of miniatures 👌
All the coolest bands, DJs and now mini painters seem to be from Oz. Great vid concept!
You’ll have to come on down for a visit one day dude 🍻 thanks so much!
This is awesome deets! Once again, nailed the greens 😉 Loved the co-lab vid! Gotta go check out druchii gang! 🤙🏼
Thanks my dude! Gotta use these new green skills on a green skin very soon 😉 definitely go check Murph out, he’s a champion!

Yeah it was a little tricky and had some tough areas to reach! Thanks mate! I appreciate that 🍻
Fantastic jobs by both! Should be incredibly proud of these - I had to go back to the reveals to pause and really appreciate them!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked how they turned out 🍻
The two of you are amazing, both of the mini are awesomely painted
Great concept of video you should try it again !
Thanks so much mate! You’re too kind! 🤝 I’ll definitely try it again
What a pleasant surprise to see Murph on here! Love both your guys work
Thanks Steve! Glad you enjoyed this episode mate 👊🍻
Wow, incredible work guys. Excellent video idea.
Thanks dude!
Cool concept, I’d like to see some high end paint jobs in hand one day
Thanks mate! 🤝 Yeah it’s great to see a high level paint job. It really lifts your game
The word purple definitely started to lose all meaning at one point 🤣 seriously though, they are both ace, great show of how different styles produce great effects. Loved it as always Deets. Stay cool brother 🤝
Hahaha yeah I should have probably paid more attention while editing 😝 Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed the concept of this video and the mini choices were perfect. I would like to see you swap more painted miniatures with anyone really.
Thanks mate! Really glad to hear you enjoyed this video. I’ll be on the hunt for some more collabs 🙌

They are great miniatures 👌
Keep it up mate, love the channel and hope it continues to grow.

Fantastic job on both sides!! Love it!!
Thanks Skye! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌
Finally some Dark Elves! So cool, just fnished the same model. I would love to see you painting classic Morathi on dark pegasus and Malekith himself!
I’ll definitely be painting up some more for the channel in the future dude and those are on my list 😎🍻
Nice I’m doing some Dark elves at the moment so my High elves have somebody to fight in the display case
Hell yeah man! Good luck painting those Druchii boys and girls 👌🍻
What a fantastic idea ❤ sharing the love 😊
Thank you! 🙏
2 awesome minis! Love Murph’s style. When’s our collab happening? 😂
Thanks mutt! Have you finished those two minis I got you? When you finish them let’s talk 😎😆
Those miniatures were amazing, really loved the druchii dreadlord! Have you considered to collaborate with Rogue Element Gaming?
Thanks so much dude! Great idea! I’ll have to reach out soon. Big fan of his work 👌
It’s lovely work as allways! Silo you mind sharing some insights as to how you painted the druchii‘s face and which colours were used? :)
Thank you! 😊 Yeah I have a short video on the channel called a quick guide to painting faces and I run through my colours and how I approach faces. I hope that helps! 🙌
For the Algorithm!
Eyyyy thanks man!
