Little tap on the brakes with left foot on transitions to help transfer weight and get the car in the right position without having to steer too aggressively. Which also adds grip to the front tires, making it easier and safer to position the car correctly for the next corner, all the while keeping your speed down. The ideal technique for this scenario, especially since you can't afford to fall down the cliff.
But it's a technique that requires not only knowledge but a lot of practice because it can unsettle the car pretty bad if you don't have the muscle memory and a good feel for it. You are definitely at a pro level, whatever your background is.
And you do all that in an M3, f*cking badass!
I love it, there are not a lot of highly technical drifters on YT, watching you go is so satisfying.
Makes me envious, can't wait to have my own drift car and practice on real roads.
Anyways keep it up, I hope you keep posting, and more often, you've got something good going on here already.
Hell fxcking no on trying to left foot brake on a sketchy road like this while going that fast! 😂 You make a mistake and its ggs. I'm sure he knows how to do that. But he's also caution. Handbrake on narrow roads like this while going that fast is the smart option. He's hands down one of the best drifters I've seen on RUclips. Yiu can tell by his hand positioning/control (Possibly an Assetto Corsa game drifter or other drifting game ? )

Wow what an awesome driver you are! Seems like you mainly initiate using handbrake and very little (if any) clutch kick -- is that right, and if so, any particular reason? Trying to learn (from a fellow E92 owner). Thanks man!
thanks man! i use the hand brake in the canyon a lot to slow the car and keep angle. it’s a really small road and the car gets moving quick so the handbrake is a nice tool to slow it down but set angle at the same time.

Did you end up pulling the wheel speed sensor to get rid of all of the abs stuff? Curious bc I had to do that on my e46 m3 for it to slide and not freak out on me. Also, would you recommend that cnc71 angle kit?
i pulled one of the abs fuses and it kept everything in the car working but deactivated the abs and traction control. i’d recommend the cnc kit, affordable and works really well!

hey bro, how did the car slide before installing the angle kit? (apart from more angle obviously).
Did it ruin the car for everyday driving/autocross? do you know of any kit that doesn't change geometry but just add few degrees to the lock? like do steering rack spacers work on these?

car drives great even with the angle kit, still handles good. if you don’t want to do the whole kit rack spacers work as well for a little extra angle
@@SirNick71 I assume I'll need to fabricate it myself right? I can't find any rack spacer kit online for these cars.
I ran gktech spacers on my 350z, it gave a good 15 degrees extra lock. even if I can get 10 more on m3 it'll be awesome.
@@SirNick71 I talked to my fabricator he said it's pretty easy to make the spacers ourselves. can you tell me how well the car drove in drift with stock angle compared to your current setup? how well did it slide in terms of stability mid drift and transitions? (but with coilovers and other goodies already installed). thanks dude
