The rod bearings start to have issues when the engine is driven from cold, same deal with the S54 and S85 Gotta wait for the oil to get up to temperature, then it's viscosity is lower and it can lubricate the bearings properly- when it's cold the oil is too thick for the tight bearing clearances 👍
I have a video with the mic under the hood of my Camaro and it sounds a lot like this. Now it has the c8 manifold and want to see what it sounds like after watching this.

I would expect you could get almost the same result in induction noise just by using a pod filter instead of OEM. Would like to know if you can tell the difference between OEM and eventuri plenum.
The sounds is unreal. Very few engines can even come close to the sound of an S65 with a carbon airbox. A true motorsport dervied unit!
That induction sound is epic. Spine tingling. Reminds me of the e46 csl intake noise but with obviously 2 extra fun chambers

A stock E92 sounds better in both areas IMO. The M88 in the M635csi sounds better than the e30 M3.
