I bought the Levitate because I saw an eBay coupon for $42. This pedal is ridiculously good for that small amount. It replaced an Oceans11 costing nearly 4x as much. Great pedal!
They've got a mini one called the Sonic Ambience. It's like $40 and has 4 delay modes and 4 reverbs that can be used together, and has tap tempo. Sounds great!
Hey Sonicake people, I bought one because of this video. Thanks for the reccommendation Sean this thing punches way above it's weight class. Impressive really.
I really, really like this pedal having jammed for about two hours now. I'll admit to having way too many boutique pedals, and it's pretty great how this little guy just does the thing. From a tight hall with a sprinkle of delay to a massive cavern with notes and trails in to orbit, it's got you covered. The only thing I would change (and I did on my pedal, I have lots of spare parts) would be the size of the knobs. I like 'em a bit larger. So in the end, I think this is a sturdy, great performer that anyone can and should have on their board or in the stash. It would also be a great first mod pedal for new players. For everything you get for the price there is just no reason not to get one. Oh yeah, they did something I wish all pedal builders would do, and included two nice fat velcro patches instead of a throwaway sticker. Bonus points!
I have a Levitate too in my pedalboard and it sounds really good. I'm in an 80s Hair Metal cover band and the Levitate becomes an essential part of my clean tones and of my high gain solos too.
Great overview! I've been checking out video reviews on the Levitate (as the pedal seems too good to be true for that price-point) and you've provided the best recap on the range and capabilities of its output. Many thanks!
Found one under $40. Found awesome cologne at temu fake prices the other day and this awesome pedal the other day. Thank God for these people for doing this right now.
Not sure what surf slapback is but you can get delays as short as you want or as long as 2 seconds. I set mine for a quick slapback and one repeat just to add a little fullness.

It's such a good pedal!
Very cool Sean! Interesting to see how the layers are added! Thank you!

Got that too, like that it has the tap tempo.
Thanks for this. Didnt know that existed and liking sonicake pedals. I have the octave and eq so far
Aren't WET / DRY knobs only for the DELAY effect? This is what it sounds at 6:49 when you put WET at zero and DRY at full.
I have it and I can confirm. It is the best delay/reverb for the price range below 250$. Outstanding sound quality and simple to use.
I’m trying their new multi effects unit soon. Stoked for that
Very cool. Thanks for a helpful demo.

Glad it was helpful!
Thanks so much, great video with alot of insight, going to get one of these to go with a new cab and head I replaced my deluxe reverb with!
Your instruction on how to play the guitar is very specific.

Have you used an acoustic with this pedal?
Can you turn the delay down/up enough to get the 50s/60s surf slapback?

The key takeaway from this is that I really want that pizza shark shirt!
