I think they need a spinoff just called Rio. He was the real star. He stole every scene he was in. It was all voice, eyes, and very subtle but purposeful movement. His whole character was "less is more". Rio only speaks or moves with necessity. It creates an absolutely dominant personality. Manny's character creation was perfect for this part, and it is why people find this character magnetic.
He was incredibly patient and despite her shooting him and trying to have him killed he didn’t kill her or hit her. He truly deeply loved her
