Absolutely. But I believe he is, after all, deeply in love with her. It's difficult to describe. But you don't have to be able to explain everything. I hope Beth will be getting more character progress next season, she needs to understand her naturally behavior, and at the end of the line Rio will be there waiting. Until then... Hopefully they don't kill each other 😂
@@syralein We can only hope, we can only hope. I am so darn sick and tired of *Dean* it is not even funny, every single time that I see him I just want to slap him upside the head. Their chemistry is just beautiful. To me he has never been gentler with anyone maybe only his son and the mother of his child. They both bring out another site to each other that balance each other out. I would love to see them together. I believe that they are ENDGAME material for a couple.

Beth loves the danger and excitement of Rios lifestyle. She just doesn’t want to admit it. She wants to stay normal bc she has kids but if she didn’t she’d be off with rio guarantee. She hates her basic life. Even she said it was fun basically committing crimes. I hope she finally realizes that her boring lifestyle isn’t for her. And I hope her and rio can stop all the back and forth shit. Trying to shoot each other or actually doing it and Threatening each other. If rio really wanted to kill her he would have.

I agree, I think Rio knows that if Beth gets comfortable around him he would be another Dean to her. That's why now and again he threatened or treated her like dirt because she loves the thrill and that attractive to her. .

That kind of intense chemistry only happens when the relationship is real or when the actors hate each other’s guts. Sadly, I think the latter is true. I find it odd that although their relationship is central to the show, neither of them discusses it in interviews... specially Christina. She speaks of EVERYONE else, but never Manny.

@@Xylem44 idk let’s hypothetically say they are actually mad, then it’s not just beth’s actress that was mad it was also the other two girls (i forgot their names) but again no bad blood between them and the three iconic women were also loved by the audience but it just so happens that a lot of us crushed on rio becz why not and saw the chemistry they had and loved it. i dont think it has anything to do w the fact she felt her spotlight was taken becz all of them got the spotlight they deserved :)

Basmala Saad So many times. Moonlighting (Sybil Shepard and Bruce Willis); The Notebook (Ryan Gossling and Rachel McAdams, although they started dating after the movie wrapped). Dirty Dancing (Patrick and “Baby” didn’t even speak directly). Vampire Diaries (Stephan and the lead hated each other)... too many to count, but that seems to be the formula that works.

Tbh it's hard to deny how much rio loved beth. It was so many clear signs but it was as if he was torn in-between letting her go and keeping her close. He would constantly tell her that the street life wasn't worth it and that she needs to go home to her family; Because he cared. But when she'd finally break free he would find any excuse to get her back whether or not that meant she'd be mad at him.

I think the complicated love-hate-business relationship between Rio and Nick gives us insight into many of Rio's actions. Rio is willing to forgive Elisabeth a lot, just as he forgives Nick, and just as Nick forgives him. It was important to Rio that Elisabeth chose him honestly, not underestimating him like Nick, not being ashamed of his actions. Rick is more honest, he is who he is, he has no image and he sees things real. Nick, on the other hand, often creates an image.
By the way, I think Rick and Elizabeth's relationship is not toxic because until the moment Elizabeth chooses Rio over Nick, there is essentially no relationship. Just business, work. Rio really "teaches" Elizabeth, “teaches” her that she's not just a pretty mum and housewife like Dean, for example, thinks she is. Rio sees her full potential. And once he sees that she has surpassed him, really surpassed him, he recognises her as a boss. I love the moment when Rio takes all the money for the company. It may seem like he is offended that Elizabeth has assumed that Nick is “boss-brother”. But really, he shows her that Nick is just an image. Elizabeth should have no illusions about him, even if she starts to think that Nick has made it all up. Rio opens her eyes to Elizabeth's omnipotence.
