I appreciate what you do & all the man hours involved behind the scenes. I've been a "taker" by watching your content for years, so I just wanted to say thanks for keeping the passion alive. I'm having a blast with so many great releases in the RC industry... Super grateful. I used to race years ago. 😎👍
Didn’t look like the glue was the problem it looked like the cheap coating came off the rim. Rubber isn’t silver. Maybe sand that inside bead down to get rid of the coating then re glue
It wasn’t the tire glue that’s the problem, it’s the chrome coming unattached to the plastic. The company shouldn’t have chromed the bead groove on the wheels.
They are junk. I destroyed 3 sets in a week thinking it was a quality control issue. Not the case. They are out of balance to the point you cant balance them. The belts break trying to back flip. Just horrible tires. They don't even sand the chrome off before gluing.
Look and handle great 👍 Sand those rims and get that chrome off. And belted certainly hurts the fun factor - less mass to rotate the truck during a flip. Gearing is sounding rough for sure. I always switch to machined gears if I can, the stock ones are pretty sketchy.
Says on there site they weigh 1.5 lbs each kinda missleading to begin with Iv Always knowticed negative things about getting stuff from powerhobby. They messed up parts and gave me the same 2 parts before and wouldnt help me out with a replacement and took to weeks to respond to me too.
I gave up on Power Hobby. Their tires are horrible. The belts break super easy, Try and do backflips the belts will break the chrome is never sanded when the glue them, and the tire will wobble even when you glue them right. Just as yours did. They either have horrible quality control or the tires are junk. The sidewalls are too soft causing the tire to go out of balance.

I just saw this thank you so much!!!

I always use paper between the gears to set my mesh
looks like they didnt remove the chrome coating before gluing
Wheels and tires look awesome 🔥
Great content and easy to understand. Would you mind sharing your track timer model and maker and any suggestions for a track timer. Thanks!

yeah your right looking back did see chrome or chrome paint on the beads. cheezy construction looks like
that front left tire was wobbling a lot during the back flip at @4:01 for it being belted.

How are they vs the scorpion?
Yea sounds tight
It looks smaller than the stock tires?
Nice beefy tires! 👍😎
Ever tried the jetko for x-maxx.?
What kv motor are you using.?
Spur gear, pinion gear..like that sound ..my stock notorious 6s damn noisy ..thanks anyway

you need vitavon bead locks lol
lol funny I broke that same drive cup 2 days ago
Gonna have to drill them out for use on every other truck... buy they are nice 🍻
Disappointed u didn't use 12s Xmaxx , BC this would be the Ultimate test for those tyres.
If they survive 12 they're good for 8s right?!!
They won't survive. I destroyed 3 sets in a week. They are horrible tires. The belts break trying to back flip. They are horribly out of balance.
So those are lighter than stock Kraton 8s wheels…. Not sure the stock weight of XMaxx wheels
I want for 1/8th scale!!!
Those wheels would be better without the chrome finish, wont come unstuck then, can you get them in just black no finish.
👍😂

Traxxas monkey metal!
Thats WAAAAYYYY to much money spent for tires to be coming off the wheels.
Glue from lidl 😫
Always the 'next weakest link' that breaks. Like a chain.
Yeah I might just run it in 4S 😂 nah let’s see what it can do

Stop using the gears. Go to a belt drive. I have it on mine with the same combo. I’ve never broken a belt yet and have a hundred packs through mine
