As a psych major we literally have a chapter that we studied about the effects of music. We even studied how different styles of music effects cheese. Outside of the study, music is mentioned in the Bible even instruments such as harps soooo yes I very much agree that music most definitely has an effect on a person.

I've protected a few black women who was in need of help some being physically attacked. I've even gone as far to put my hands in these dudes and you know what happened, they got more mad at me for knocking they man down then what was happening to them. When will single women realize it's not random black men job to protect black women. Your protector is the police, military, and your father when your a child, teenager, or young adult. On the west coast gang banging started in the 20s' almost 50 years before the first hip hop song. Gangster Rap wasnt big here in Chicago when it came out , meaning we didn't try to be like the rappers we knew this was their style of rap we had our own style and every region of the U.S had their own style of rap back in the 80s/90s. But the 90s in Chicago was just as deadly if not more do than it is now. Yet gang banging in Chicago goes back to the 20s as well. If you Google Chicago gangster rappers you get 90% drill rappers from 2010-now.
The music is different for every individual. Some people don't let music effect the way they move. But yes, music does carry a mood and is hypnotic in a way. One example is when a person is bored they turn on their favorite music and their mood changes based on the music.

Just because you have had sex once doesn’t mean you need to keep doing it I feel like celibacy is more of a personal and mostly spiritual journey because you learn what pointless sex is and how it can effect you … because at the end of the day sex still has an effect on you….. you also understand the value of getting to know somebody in all other ways, in many other ways, outside of the sexual part, which most of the time is the reason why people stay together when they shouldn’t. If you have kids and decide you need to close your legs from here on out because you have had a child with someone who has made you a baby mother and you are striving to be a wife then that’s okay. I don’t understand why in the black community that’s such a hard concept to wrap our heads around but that’s not an abnormal goal to wait till marriage. Before society got to where it is now. Where hook up culture is praised it was actually pushed to wait until marriage when people got married. Now people don’t see the point in marriage because they are getting everything they need outside of marriage which defeats the whole entire premise. We are in a time now where single parent homes, divorce and STDs are at higher percentages then marriage .But unfortunately we have become such a selfish society that we are okay with that as long as we are getting ours… it’s sad honestly

RUclips started I believe around 2008 (I have looked at many videos in archives) and it started with a RUclipsr called Sergeant Willie Pete at the same time there was another RUclipsr called Thugtician and a host of other black men who spewed hate rhetoric about black women. From that time up until today, black men have used social media to say that "Black Women are Being Replaced" or "Black Women are Ugly" or "The Man Carries the Seed and that we don't need black women to have black families, or "Black Women Need to Die Alone and Die Alone." So, an entire generation of black women since 2008 who have grown up on social media and heard this rhetoric have the Femininity Movement, the Black Cottagecore movement, the BWGTOW (Black Women Going Their Own Way), The Level Up Movement the Black Women in Luxury Movement, to the Black Female Solo Travel Movement Movement to what we see now which is The Black Women's Divestment Movement. Black women have gotten their US Passports and we are traveling overseas and we too (like black men) have moved on.
(29:42) BM have been speaking out on BW for 16 years on one platform (RUclips: Sergeant Willie Pete, thugtician), per your research. One generation of BW (Gen alpha) has been exposed to negative rhetoric, in one corner of the Internet. Women didn’t want to get talked to like their man’s property so they pushed to be able to get bank accounts, jobs, and everything else. One thing I find odd about this though, how many women from the era of pre-feminism have come out saying that men were talking to them as if they were property or a child or in any demeaning ways? It’s not as many as the media likes to portray. It’s also kind of odd that women idolize and dream of finding a man who has the same characteristics of the men from “back in the day” but those same women fight so hard to promote the feminist ideology.

If men could keep to themselves and their family there would be no reason for women to need to work to survive.
Now, with the economy, most men can’t afford to provide for themselves let alone a family and a lot of them are too lazy to put in the work to make it happen. So women have had to compromise by building wealth individually.

I've protected a few black women who was in need of help some being physically attacked. I've even gone as far to put my hands in these dudes and you know what happened, they got more mad at me for knocking they man down then what was happening to them. Just because you have had sex once doesn’t mean you need to keep doing it I feel like celibacy is more of a personal and mostly spiritual journey because you learn what pointless sex is and how it can effect you … because at the end of the day sex still has an effect on you….. you also understand the value of getting to know somebody in all other ways, in many other ways, outside of the sexual part, which most of the time is the reason why people stay together when they shouldn’t. I feel we are in a society now where sex is pushed on us so much that it has become a shock for you to say “no I don’t want to have sex” or “I want to wait for sex” or “I have had sex before but I decide now that I want to stop to better my relationship with myself or with God”. If you have kids and decide you need to close your legs from here on out because you have had a child with someone who has made you a baby mother and you are striving to be a wife then that’s okay. I don’t understand why in the black community that’s such a hard concept to wrap our heads around but that’s not an abnormal goal to wait till marriage. Before society got to where it is now. Where hook up culture is praised it was actually pushed to wait until marriage when people got married. Now people don’t see the point in marriage because they are getting everything they need outside of marriage which defeats the whole entire premise. We are in a time now where single parent homes, divorce and STDs are at higher percentages then marriage .But unfortunately we have become such a selfish society that we are okay with that as long as we are getting ours… it’s sad honestly

Black women have gotten their US Passports and we are traveling overseas and we too (like black men) have moved on.
