Excellent replication of one of Rush's finest songs.....a wonderous metaphor of human behavior. You guys have great taste and ability in performing songs of the world's greatest band. Thanks for keeping the RUSH flame burning ....keep it going MDW...you guys are very talented.
Turned 22 the year Hemispheres was released and still jammin. Thank You All for taking the time to perform a GREAT Bands music and to do so dang well. Hope to be around for Your next cover. Dang Yall are sharp. Peace and Love to all. Rock On.
the more I come back to your channel, the more I just love love Tahnee's sweet vocals on Rush songs! Tahnee, if you're looking at this comment well done you should be really proud of your amazing vocals!
So, you guys posted this on the day I became 51. In 1979, when I was 12, I heard a song on the radio called "The Spirit of Radio". I can't really describe my feelings at hearing that song back then, partly because it's so long ago, but it prompted me to buy the first record that I ever owned, which I still have, which was "Permanent Waves". Growing up, Rush was the most important band in the world to me. You all have done an amazing job at capturing and redefining the legacy of a band that I have loved so much. Thank you.
You got through the middle bit where you count to 10 and then to 5, with the tricky rhythm on guitar. One of my favourite parts of any song, ever! Thank you warriors!!!!!!! Loved it.
My favorite Rush song. The guitar part on the bridge is my favorite guitar anything of all time. The vocals are deceptively difficult. Nice job, Tahnee.
You guys are fabulous!!!!! I am a Die hard Rush fan for life....and Ill tell ya...you guys do Rush the way I know Rush would want to be heard! Fabulous!!! Please don't ever break up!!You guys have such a magical mystical chemistry so balls on to the original band....heres something I have for the drummer....you do such a dead on perfect reflection if Neil back there....your missing one thing..WIND.CHIMES!!!! You guys should have them for sure
You all do such a good job...the musicianship is excellent, so close to the original material. Her voice is awesome as well! You all deserve a communal pat on the back... :)
I Love the intesity of this tune - Vocals are spot on, drum and guitars are great , and DAMN - THATS why I can't play the bass line to it ! Fantastic JOB . Watching the bass line to it really shows the true talent Geddy lives with - and then there's the live version of Xanadu ( like from Presto or Roll the Bones tour ) ! Are we sure Geddy is human ? GREAT JOB - I won't even call what you do "covers" anymore after seeing this . MDW is without a doubt a full fledged real tribute band ( please get the legal stuff right so you are around for a while )
How do you guys not have like 100k views? Im a newly subscriber and I am really impressed. Looking forward to watching you other Rush covers. Cheers from a Franco Ontarien.
How my college band became a RUSH tribute band. Due to inflated egos we had argued all week and had not tehearsed enough songs for our second gig. After the 4th song we were looking at each other like:"What now?" Our lead guitarist started playing someting on the guitar. I thought it was Spirit of Radio, so I jumped in on the drum part. The band followed my lead and our audience went freakin nuts. The die was cast. After our gig, I was disassembling the drums. Our lead guitarist came up and told me that he had been playing The Trees. I told him "Your tempo was too fast, besides, no one knows the vocals for the trees but we do know the vocals for Spirit of Radio and the other songs we played."
THIS IS BULLSHIT. I've spent/enthralled 10 years of studying Neil Peart on my drums and this [Young] Ginger Boy nails every beat. Great job to the whole band.
I love it, and as a life long Rush fan, and guitarist, I never thought I'd say this: turn the guitar a bit down in the mix. It's hiding some important bass lines. Alex never overpowered. He blended in. Blend in. Nice work!
One of my favorite Rush cover bands: 2 things though , buy some Cowbells for the lead part and CRANK UP the deep bass synth in the bridge to the lead guitar part :) Love it though
Can't hear the bass that well, especially the funky middle part. Again the toms need to be mixed louder also. No destinction between the different drums. Vocal needs more effect on them, too dry..Good effort though...
Edward Borries thanks for the kind words Edward! We're so glad you enjoy! Of course you may share the videos - check out the link to our Facebook page in the video description for easy sharing!
best Rush coverband in my opinion, and Tahnee, best singer in Spirit of Rush..Voice is so epic
Excellent replication of one of Rush's finest songs.....a wonderous metaphor of human behavior. You guys have great taste and ability in performing songs of the world's greatest band. Thanks for keeping the RUSH flame burning ....keep it going MDW...you guys are very talented.
Almost every song Rush created between 74 and 84 is a masterpiece. I think "Caress of Steel" and "Signals" are their most underrated albums.
Talented group of musicians. Really enjoyed this cover. Thanks for sharing you talents with us.
Sublime ! !!!!!!!!! Goose pimples all the way ! You are fantastic ! Us RUSH fans are so proud of you !
Her voice goes good for rush.
Turned 22 the year Hemispheres was released and still jammin. Thank You All for taking the time to perform a GREAT Bands music and to do so dang well. Hope to be around for Your next cover. Dang Yall are sharp. Peace and Love to all. Rock On.

Bass player is channeling Entwhisle. Got that cool outside vibe going while staying in the pocket. Bravo ! Well done!

Marc Armstrong That is a tricky part! We love to play it though. Thanks for your continued support!
My favorite Rush song. The guitar part on the bridge is my favorite guitar anything of all time. The vocals are deceptively difficult. Nice job, Tahnee.

thought you were gonna rip him.... agreed he is unreal
i cant believe that bass player played the whole first half of the song with his eyes closed. pretty remarkable
That was great!!! >

Nice work!
Thanks for watching! We're all gonna have our differences in what we want to hear in the mix, glad you still enjoyed our rendition!
@@TheModernDayWarriorsOfficial btw.. your bass player is the absolute BOMB. Love his mad skills and style!!
One of my favorite Rush cover bands: 2 things though , buy some Cowbells for the lead part and CRANK UP the deep bass synth in the bridge to the lead guitar part :)
Love it though
Always the part of moog is hypnotic
You guys are fuckin ripping!!!
Офигенно! у нас в россии Rush мало знают,но это моя любимая команда,и кавер офигенный
Start 'The Trees' with an intro of 'Broone's Bane' - that would be cool.
Can't hear the bass that well, especially the funky middle part. Again the toms need to be mixed louder also. No destinction between the different drums. Vocal needs more effect on them, too dry..Good effort though...
3:43 I'm pretty sure the bass player fell asleep
Grew up in racist times had black friends this song hits fucking hard you GUYS ROCK
Oaks meaning the US and Maples meaning Canada?
Rush has many analogies within the lyrics. The genius of Neil Peart. RIP
Forgot to ask, is it okay that I share this with my children and grandchildren and what few friends I have on FB?
Edward Borries thanks for the kind words Edward! We're so glad you enjoy! Of course you may share the videos - check out the link to our Facebook page in the video description for easy sharing!
Thank You, I sure will. Nice gift you all have. Peace and Love
You can see the concentration during certain parts due to complexity.
A D very complex! Thanks for noticing!
That's why they simplified The Trees a bit. Girl sings a bit too low. But all in all, i liked it.
Amazing song. One of the very best from Rush.
...cheer up guys your playing rush...also down-grizzle the guitar so the singer doesn’t have to strain..Bright Moments.thanks that was still cool🌈
очень красивая песня. и вокалистка:)
I hate all six people that disliked this video

"MORE COWBELL"
I have to confess: your band name has just now taught me that the lyric isn't "a mundane warrior" :-/
not exactly sure but these guys seem like Rush fans
Nirvana
Bass guitar needs to be more present in the mix. Otherwise, pretty good.
Enjoyable but the guy on bass needs a nap.
metrics. praise.
