0:00🤢 Common causes of bloating include fibrous foods like salad and broccoli, as well as visceral hypersensitivity and bacterial infections like H. pylori.
2:04💊 Antibiotics can disrupt gut bacteria, leading to bloating and other gastrointestinal issues, emphasizing the importance of cautious antibiotic use.
4:58🚰 To combat constipation, prioritize hydration with adequate water intake, and consider magnesium supplements like magnesium oxide or magnesium citrate.
6:24☕ Hot coffee and water can stimulate bowel movements, aiding in constipation relief, while movement, such as aerobic exercise, helps promote regular bowel function by aiding fermentation and serotonin production.

It could have been worth mentioning FODMAP in relation to fibers, some stop eating fibers (that we need a lot of) because of discomfort when in reality it might just be one or a couple of sources that triggers.

I went to the ER once because of pain I had in my stomach after waiting there all night I finally got seen and they said it was gas. I drank bunch of water and it went away. Last year I went in for worse pain and they said it's gas. After a few days it was only worse so I went in again and they found a kidney stone.

Same thing happened to me. I was having stomach problems for weeks and minor kidney pain here and there but I thought it was a GI issue. Ended up going to the ER and they found kidney stones. Still haven't figured out the connection

At crunch time "Cascara Sagrada" can be a big help. I used to take it every day, until I came across info that warned that constant use of it could weaken the muscles of the bowels causing one to need it's use for the rest of their life. So now I only take it during difficult times of extra stiff bowel movements ! PS edit: I noticed a note I placed on my bottle which reads that "Long term use can also damage the liver."

You can get too much gut bacteria.
After eliminating all the potential problems she mentioned a gastro doctor would probably recommend a Low FODMAP diet.
Low FODMAP diet is not really easy to follow and manage especially with children who don’t need it.

@@alexoblak3441 There is such a thing as being fat and healthy and also of being thin and unhealthy. So until you know for sure which category a person is in you really don't know their health status that's what I'm saying

@alexoblak3441 I've been into fitness my whole life, had 2 bodybuilding trophies & 2 weightlifting trophies, have been into cycling (NYC 5 Borough bike tour). Since my 20s, I've been within 10lbs of Mike Tyson & conditioned like him at one point, so no fitness is NOT inappropriate to me. Why would you even presume that? By the way, Tyson and I are both considered "obese" according to BMI charts. So according to "facts," we are both unhealthy & need to lose weight.
Whether or not it is a fact, it is inappropriate for you to designate yourself as their UNSOLICITED health advisor. See how something can be a fact but inappropriate for a complete stranger to point out on a public social media channel?
