Dear Danny & Miss Wanda, you truly are an inspiration!! Pls pls add me to your prayer 🙏🏻 list!! Going through a difficult divorce after 30 yrs of marriage!! I do got on my knees for God to fight this battle for me!! All I want is a fair divorce!! Much love 😘🤗🥰 Mom Puff 🦋🦋
I divorced after 33 years we will pray for you.
Sending prayers up for you. God is Able!😊
Prayers for you.
Prayers are on the wind for you to get thru the divorce. Hand it over to the Lord, it will ease the stress level.
I would like to get a divorce (also 30 yrs), but due to physical issue's & financial issues (lack of $$) it's not going to happen. It's been needed for 20 some yrs. 🙏🙏
Looking good! I planted my seeds a few days ago. Praying for abundant Fall crops for all who planted. Shalom
Mr Danny I already commented but I just had to again, I love that garden bed cover I will be putting some sewing skills to use this fall/winter when I have some down time! Ive had the mesh covering and frost cloth however I just drape, clip and whatever else we come up with. My hubby is a lot like you he makes all kinds of things out of what most think is junk...which I am the one who saves broken things and asks him to reinvent it. I know you purchased those and that is great, but I will try my hand at using what I have and sewing it adding a zipper. Love seeing all thr changes you and Mrs Wanda are doing its looking great! Love you both dearly!!
Thank you Danny and Wanda for your inspiration on gardening...small time gardener in grow bags.I look forward to your Bids!☺☺🤗💓😁💙
Thanks for all you do Danny and Wanda. I really appreciate you going out of your busy schedule time to do this for all of us. God bless you both.
If all the seeds grow you will have wonderful veggies. This year my onions and cabbages “Cadillac’d “. Best year ever.
Danny and Wanda, I enjoyed this. Thank you.
I have had great outcomes with Hoss tools onion sets
Good morning Danny and Wanda love seeing all the growing you guys are doing God Bless
Love the way you show how to start our plants. Thank you 😊
That’s the seed starting mix I use every year. I really like it 😊
❤❤❤Gotta have Red. Yellow, & Sweet Onions for all my different recipes. Gotta have the green onions and chives too! Leeks, Garlic are also must haves for good eatin'!!! Very nice set up. Praying you have a blessed fall season and bountiful harvest!
The feed sack vancleave has really good sets made softball size 400 reds and whites
We ordered from Dixon Dale and had really good luck in Georgia. I would guess it was really dry in your area the same as mine.
I got onion plants from Hoss last year. I had the best crop ever. Ordered some for this year too.
Just a thought, use a toothpick for a marker for when your sowing.😊
I love Hoss Tools products. You should try the Hossingnator tomato. Delicious large prolific tomato.
I will never be tired of seeds, planting and selection. Exciting every time. I love those bed screens 😍😍😍 awesome!
Thanks again for your hard work
We're gonna try out Hoss tools seeds too ❤
I bought my onions from Hoss last year and had the very best onion crop I’ve ever had! 👍👍
Wow! Those tiny, tiny seeds. You have more patience than I have. Where's the labels for each row? I have to write out labels for the few I could weather crops I grow! Y'all are such an inspiration!
We just go back and watch the video to see what is what.
JudithB I bought Kale, chard and romaine sets at Lowes last week, and the bugs had eaten the centers out of the lettuce sets. I need to plant some seeds so I can plant stuff between the squash and peppers. Most of my summer crops are just starting to produce and we probably have until end of Oct before frosty.
Yep in SeTx our crops if they make it past the heat and the bugs they don't take off until September the past 2 years.
It's interesting you put the seeding tray outside vs inside light and heat mat, I have done this both ways and have gotten different results
I use tomato cages to support my .Broccoli and Cauliflower.
Don't need heat now it's very hot here.
One of the best channels on RUclips folks, subscribe, you’ll be thankful you did!
Thanks
I remember that y’all were not happy with the Early Girl tomatoes. Siletz was developed in the Pacific Northwest specifically for flavor and production in cooler weather. It’s also disease resistant. It’s also a favorite of Ciscoe Morris, who has been around almost since wuz (😉) and is a local expert.
Love HOSS Tools, getting ready to buy some microgreens trays from them today.Great products and great service, with grow guides and other info on their website.
We have a link if it will help you.
Just love watching yall. Me and jàmesking Bing watch all yalls old ones on our TV. Watching a sweet potatoe slit one now. GOD BLESS ❤
Thanks so much
Very Nice!....We are not fans of of broccoli or cauliflower LOL. But we seeded Red and White Texas Grano onions (very sweet) and Gem Romaine and Baby Napa in succession (continuing). We're looking forward to truly fresh lettuce and cabbage this fall and winter.
Danny and Wanda I love onion, they are so good for us. I thank I’m going to try growing them for the first time this year. God bless
Gotta go to therapy for my shoulder. God bless and have a wonderful day
According to harris seeds the red baron appears to be a scallion type here is their description----65 days from transplant. This diverse red onion is a beauty! Its 12 - 15” green top leaves are straight and uniform. The lower portion is a very good red color that is several layers deep so scallions stay red even after cleaned. If plants are left in the field they will produce a 3 - 4” bulb - perfect for fresh onion harvest. Thought this might help so you are not waiting on a bulbing onion. Have a great day and thanks for all the garden info
Thank you Mr. Danny and Ms. Wanda for sharing. Actually had good luck last year with our Dixondale oniions. Not all were great but many of them were of good size and we had a rough growing season last year as well. Need tp get our seeds started for fall this weekend. Have a blessed day.
I used dixion dale this year because I have heard you talk about them so much and mine actually did the best I have ever grown...still not huge but definetly the best year I have ever had. Probably had sonething to do with the drought and I may not have given them enough fertilizer. I have struggled with onions and figuring out how to grow them.
There is a lady who lives in my area and she over wintered onions and they did great so I m experimenting with that and we shall see, if not I will start them in December as I usually do and then if I have to it will be Dixion Dale as my back up again because we too love onions and garlic I very rarely cook anything without them.
Thanks for sharing!!💜bless ya all!
Ms. Wanda, you need a trained popsicle stick or chopstick to be your place marker when you are reloading seeds. Hoping you get fantastic germination and have a wonderful fall garden. We've only got about a 120 day growing season and the bugs have been bad the whole time. (As you warned about for many years.)
I’ve never tried growing onions from seed , I started sum burgandy broccoli , lettuce , and spinach
My onions did ok from Dixondale but they looked bad when I got them … not like they usually do
I like the white onions.
I use that same starting mix and find that I have to pre moisten it. It just falls out of the seed starting trays if I don’t
I do the same friend, except I top each cell with about a tsp of perlite to help hold the moisture down here in Bedford TX.
Good morning Mrs Wanda and Mr Danny ❤
Good morning
Thank you for another informative video. You two are an inspiration
A lot of varieties love it ❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m trying to get my fall/winter garden ready.
My Texas Legend Onions from Dixondale did great last year. Still eating them .
Good morning!
Got mine direct sown mid-Aug for fall garden: onion, garlic, brassicas, iceberg, carrots, here in far north California, zone 9. Course most all will not be producing until spring. Oh, well.
Thanks for sharing!😊
Good morning. Think this is great.
My long day (4 varieties) and intermediate day (one variety) onion plants from Dixondale did awesome this year. I live in the northeast part of the US.
That is awesome
this year in new england, was my worst onion production also. I think it has to do with them seeding the skies with stuff that dehydrates the dirt. My dirt has changed. I think of you and your high tunnels and might need to do the same.
Same in Texas we can't water enough its so dry.
I think maybe Red Baron are a torpedo style Italian onion
I love Mtn Valley seeds, they have always done well for me. I just started sugar snap peas, beets, carrots and some turnips- zone 7a😮
Sounds great
Looking good.
The bugs can make or break our gardens. Great for pollinating, but can eat everything you grow. Thanks for any tips you can give us. 🐝 🐛
Love onions
I ordered from Dixondale this year. Walla Walla and Candy varieties. Had my BEST year ever! Some of my WW were 2pounds and more and over 6” across! I did have a horrible year with green beans. Ok with peppers and tomatoes. Last year green beans were record! I canned enough for several years so I am not too upset about this years crop. Always prepare for many years because you never know when you will have a failure! Enjoying my onions from Dixondale!🧅🧅🧅
Good morning.
Love your videos
Comment for the algorithms...
On the live, you mentioned where we could find out more about the possible need for a "face cover up." Could you please let me know where to find that information. Thanks.
Some info is on adapt 2030 RUclips channel with our friend David.
@@pecangrovems Thanks!
I'm kind of frustrated with the Jiffy people. There's a product they make, small discs of compressed soil, not peat, not coir.. just soil that does stick together when it's fully soaked... and they stay damp for days. They even have a little divot on top for the seed. They're only about 3/4" diameter. Fantastic for germination.
They call them QSM pellets.. can't find them anywhere so I emailed the company. Their sales rep said they're available in big box stores and amazon.. they're not.
I used up the ones I had and can't find anything but those plugs that have nets around them. I do not like those netted ones.
WILL YOU BE PLANTING ALL OF THESE IN YOUR RAISED BEDS OR SOME IN AND SOME OUTSIDE IN THE GROUND? I AM WOUNDERING HOW MANY BRASSICAS WOULD FIT IN EACH VEGO BED?
We will be planting some outside and in the beds.
Exciting to see new fall crops in the making!
Onions wouldn't produce and neither would the squash this year.
How many seeds are you planting in each pocket?
It looked like one or two to me.
Do you have a link for those beds with those zip tops?????????????????/
The company is Vego, and there's a link in the description under the title.
Try you some strong smelling herbs basil, rosemary......in with your cabbage family plants.....dill.....just don't let the dill form a seed head or you will have dill everywhere forever🤣
Praying for no insects.
