Watching you work on this machinery & the Farm all, etc makes me miss my late husband so. He was amazing & could work on, figure out & fix anything just like you. Love watching you & Miss Wanda work together.
I wanted to add that a friend gave my great granddaughter a piece of cane when she was about 8 months old. When we tried to take it back, she actually growled at us! 😂
Lord, I love my people, Danny and Wanda, Your People. I ask You to give Danny peace of mind, sweet sleep, and healed body with lots of strength for so much work!
This was so educational & fun watching you re-do the cane mill. Growing up on a farm with my grandparents, I watched grandpa tear down & rebuild so much equipment. Brought back great memories. Thanks for taking us along. ❤
Good day Mr. Danny and Ms. Wanda. Y'all did a wonderful job on rehabbing that press. Old equipment always is interesting to see how it was built when things were built to last more than one year. Than k you for sharing and have a blessed day.
Good Morning Danny and Wanda. You are so blessed to be able to maintain your equipment saves you so much money when you can do it yourself. I hope it works out for you. God bless you both.
That was a labor of love for a mechanical wonder...thank you for taking all the extra time it took to film while you renovated it. It's going to be interesting to see how you set it up with your new collection table. The big bonus today was getting to hear your cow's reactions to being called over and how they enjoyed their treat.
That was really awesome how all the parts were made to fit together & work to accomplish the job it was made for. Danny you really made it look nice with the cleaning of the parts & new coat of paint & explaining how it all works. Thanks Wanda for filming the video & of the cattle enjoying their sweet treat. 😊
When I was very young, on Saturday mornings when Dad went out to do maintenance on the car, he had my head stuck between his and whatever he was doing, because I wanted to learn. He kept running me back into the house to send out my brother, who preferred to park himself in front of the boobtube, until I finally stayed inside. Thirty years later, Dad admitted that he had been wrong to refuse to teach me, but I was no longer able to learn easily or well.
Thank you for showing the process of cleaning the mill. I grew up with my dad having old farm equipment and I just love seeing the inner works of them. ❤
Hi Danny and Wanda, great job on the mill! How about" the Surp-plus Service Station" as the name for the new shed? Loved watching all the cane surgar process videos!! Can't wait for the exciting new ones!!!👍❤😊
@ Pecan Grove.. I’m thinking the name of the place where the cane will be milled could be called The Sugar Shack! 🌸 great job on the redo it’s amazing!!
I love tinkering and fixing things. Kind of odd for a lady but I really think I should have been a repair person. When my kids are grown I figure I’ll have time to do some tinkering 😂
Good morning, Mr. Danny and Miss Wanda. I don't know if you picked a name yet for the cane shack, but I was thinking Miss Wanda's Sugar Shack. Hope ya'll have a wonderful day I'm off to my women's CBS class (community Bible study). God bless you both.
That was a nice look at the internal parts that makes a cane press work. My thought is that it needs to run about 1/2 of that speed as things could get a little wild.... I looks good repainted. Makes one feel like he got a new machine. Would be fun to know how many gallons of juice it has squeezed over its life. Good luck with the processing.
My larger Kubrick tractors have a buzzer that warns the pto is running, but it continues to run when I am not in the seat. I have a 2004 international combine that shuts off the header when I get out of the seat. I keep a cement block in the cab to set on the seat when I need to get off and still keep the header running. Hope this helps. Duane
Hello from ohio. I so enjoy watching your videos. Before you use that slip clutch, I was wondering what is attached to the clutch. The way it looks is you are attaching both sides to the clutch housing. I could be wrong but I'd hate to see it get dammaged.
The top shaft turns independent of the bottom shaft. The bronze plates is what joins the two together. If it binds the bronze plates let's the two shafts slip between each other.
@pecangrovems i should have watched the rest of the video before commenting. It showed how it worked when you first started it up. It was difficult to see how it was assembled until it actually slipped. But great video as always and thank you for your time explaining it to me.
One way of getting sweet milk. As for the safety feature, if it is a seat sensor, toss a sack of potatoes in the seat. Will be about as useful in there.
Mr danny im just curious? Can you not reverse the direction by just configuring your belt in a figure 8 pattern rather than how you normally put on belt? This might be silly question i was just wondering.
It looks to me like getting the adjustment right is like what Mark Twain said about writing. The difference between the almost right word and the right word is like the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning. Michelangelo put it a little differently when he said that perfection was comprised of many details, but perfection itself was no detail. This is one instance where being OCD is a very good thing.
Goodness, as heavy duty as that mill is it should last forever! Maybe put a cinder block on that tractor seat lol. Nah, it’s better to be safe than sorry. My husband went on an FFA field trip and they got ahold of some fermented sugar cane somehow, it made them all so sick and so drunk they couldn’t go back to class lol. It’s hard to believe that was well over 40 years ago now.👵🏻🧓🏻
You know I stocked up on a ton of sugar I tell you this I found out the regular white sugar came from beets so I bought eight or 10 lb bag of a king pure organic sugar and I've been trying to get that in here lately that's a really nice Kane meal
The rpm on those Kubota tractors is fast. I would bet a gasoline tractor like a H would be much better. You can idle those tractors way down. Just thinking out loud.
I'd slow that mill down with a large diameter pulley driven by the Cub's wide belt drive. Or repurpose an old manual transmission from the junk yard to step down the speed.

Every time Danny calls them cows it brings me right back to the 70s and my granddads farm! I love it! ♥️🙏🏻🇺🇲
Good job, Danny👍👍👍

Great video! It's so calming watching the cows eat the cane. Thanks for sharing 😊
Farmers really do have to be master mechanics. You should name it the Candy Shoppe in honor of Ms Candy.
Good morning Danny and Wanda. We r in Missouri, it’s beautiful here, all way good to watch y’all video.
You did such a good job on that Mr. Danny. It looks brand new. I keep gettin the sugar shack when you talk about a name.
Thanks Danny and Wanda you guys are the best!

I am so not mechanical. I wish my father taught me when I was young. you are blessed to have Danny's skill. good morning over my coffee.

I had no dad growing up
But my grandfather told me once you cant break what is already broken so try and fix it:)
Never too late to learn. I'm a mechanic and not the sharpest tool in the shed. @@vickisavage8929
Hi Candy! Hi Duke! Hi Hadassa and all the King cows! We love your fun interaction and sweet chats with your cows❤️🐄⭐️
What a beautiful restoration. Can’t wait to see it in use.

I to have #2 Goldens mill! That mill is around 100 years old.The last one was built in 1940. Goldens foundry is still in business Columbus Ga.
Such an interesting video! Reminds me of my farmer dad working on our equipment back on the farm. Thanks for the video!

Awesome job Danny! Plus it’s as beautiful as it is useful! 👍🏼
Well hotdog you did an amazing job on that old cane mill. Looks beautiful and seems to work perfectly as far as I can see

Got it looking good! Can't wait to see it in action!
Rise and shine. Time to go to work. Thumbs up..
Oh Wanda that was funny... candy cane 😅

A lot of work, but sure a labor of love. I'm guessing you can already taste that cane syrup.
Looking forward to seeing you make sugarcane again.
They don't make stuff to last like they use to. Looks relatively easy to work on. Easy to maintain with a little mechanical ability.
There's a safety switch under the seat usually. You can bypass it with a piece of wire and 2 spade terminals.
Miss wanda, you need to have that on a t-shirt candy cane or the King cows
Very interesting video. Thank you ❤

With me it's been thousands of gallons. No telling how much before me.
Fantastic job. Wow wow!!!!😊❤
Praying that this works as well (or better yet) than anticipated. It looks genius to me! Shalom
Great video today God bless
Wow, it looks great!
Thanks brother headed back to the doctor for a diagnosis on my heart test.
@@pecangrovems I been wondering how that is going. I pray everything will be fine. We love y'all :)

I helped my husband put a tire on our Case tractor yesterday. I told him, "Danny and Wanda ain't got nothing on us!" Lol!
they make a food grade grease we use our meat slicer, might stay on bearing surfaces longer then oil?
That’s a Danny type puzzle!
Danny, that is spectacular!
Maybe a stupid question but, can you use that for anything else? I live watching rebuild old quality tools and implements.
Not really
If watchin the video was a test . . . . . .there's no way. Man, Danny . . . . .
Great video that’s some handy work right there 🇳🇿🙏🏼
WOW!!
Good video, I wonder if the beef is sweeter when cows eat sugar cane. Lol
The cows love that sugar cane huh 😅
A couple 50 lb bags of feed will keep that seat safety engaged
Put a bag of feed on the tractor seat. On my tractor that is enough weight to keep the safety switch activated.

Good morning
Can you idle the tractor down more ?
No I can't
One way of getting sweet milk. As for the safety feature, if it is a seat sensor, toss a sack of potatoes in the seat. Will be about as useful in there.
With it turning faster, should you put Crisco or tallow on the gears?
Yes but we have it slowed down now.
Mr danny im just curious? Can you not reverse the direction by just configuring your belt in a figure 8 pattern rather than how you normally put on belt? This might be silly question i was just wondering.
This doesn't run off of a belt.
Hey good morning brother Danny we had about 3 days of government weather warfare here was that the so-called hurricane that just came through
The mill looks great, prob for next 50 years. I don't know how you have time to do all of this with everything else you do. You must not sleep...lol!
Yeah I sleep 4 hours a day.

These days, unfortunately, most beet sugar is made from GMO sugar beets, and I don’t trust it at all.
Most storeboughtsugar is produced from gmosugarbeets, and I don’t trustitatall. IMO, the refiningprocess itself istoxic.
