One year ago I was on crutches and suffering from chronic pain. Simply being able to walk again and remembering how far I have come is my motivation. Blogilates was one of the first exercise regimes I started doing once it was safe for me to exercise again. It really helped me gain my strength and confidence back. Thank you Cassey!

The belief that my mom still watches over me and everything i do motivates me! She passed away when I was in high school but just knowing how proud she would be of she knew how hard and passionately I try to stay healthy makes me keep going! I love to workout knowing that she would first off join right in with me and secondly be so proud! Thank you for making your workouts so accessible and fun!

You truly inspire. I have performed SO many different workouts for the last 10 years, and had never gotten my belly any smaller (my biggest problem area!) I found your channel, decided to give it a go, and GUESS WHAT! My belly got flatter!!! And what's even better? I am motivated to do your workouts, and am having so much fun! Thank you so much for all you do! And one more thing that always amazes me, how do you stay so happy during workouts?! After each one I always just plop and pass out!

I've lost more than 50 lbs in the past year, and I am not interested in gaining that back! Working out and eating healthy keep me feeling great and will prevent diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes! Also, I want to be a positive influence for my family to get fit and stay healthy! That is what keeps me motivated. Thank you for all you do, Cassie!

My dad is my motivation. He was down and out when the doctor told him he was overweight last year. Since then he has lost 70+ pounds and is still going. He inspired me to start eating way better and to stick with my workouts. He always keeps me going when I feel terrible about my looks and body. I am so thankful I have someone so close to me to keep me motivated.

"Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater, than the pain of change" - is a quote that I've been falling back on for almost a year to keep me motivated when I want to give up. I'm already at the stage where I want to be, (thanks to you!

my entire family keeps me going. in the last couple of years we've all gotten more involved in local races and I want to be able to continue racing for as long as possible with my nephews, cousins, brother/sister-in-law, mom, etc. I recently found out I have a severely herniated disc but I refuse to let that stop me. "running" races with the people I love most have turned out to be some of the most fun times I've had in recent years. thanks for being so amazing Cassey!

My mom is one of my biggest motivations. She is 53 years old & doesn't look a day over 35. She runs 6+miles a couple of times a week. Although the past fall my IT band/knee had issues with running, I did not give up on working out because of pop pilates! She also eats super healthy which keeps me going with my busy lifestyle. Finally your blog posts, instagram, & twitters posts keep me motivated. I know that I need that extra boost & your positive energy makes me feel like I can do anything.

I used to think I was the type of person to be intrinsically motivated, or in other words the type to derive motivation from one's self. But as I go further along in my journey I find that just seeing others' success and getting encouragement from others (that includes you Cassey!) helps so much more! It makes everything so much more real :)

What motivates me to keep going is knowing how I felt and how I looked before my weight loss. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. I wasn't overweight, but I didn't feel like myself. I knew that I had to lose weight. I wanted to feel stronger and look better. Other things that motivate me today are the bodies and strength of others. You, Cassey, are actually one of the biggest motivating factors. You have an incredible body and attitude, that it makes me push myself to the max. You're my hero!

What motivates me to keep going is seeing the "Never, Ever Give Up. Arthur's Inspirational Transformation!" vid! Some months back I injured my legs and was making up so many excuses to why I couldn't work out and ended up gaining a lot of weight, watching that vid made me stop with the excuses and start working out again. I can't work out like i use to but I do as much as I can to strengthen my legs and get back in shape! Arthur showed me that anything's possible if you work hard enough!

Logging on to Blogilates and seeing not only Cassie's posts, which are always super positive and uplifting, but also seeing what fellow popsters are up to. Seeing that others are able to do it, or reading about their struggles, helps to know that I'm not alone by a long shot! It's nice to feel like part of a community and finding that I have work out partners all over the world.

Hi, Cassey! I just wanna say thank you for keeping us always looking for a new goal, I admire your effort, strength and enthusiasm, they truly motivate me. Also, I wanted to share with you that a few days ago I was playing with my sister and I lifted her up and I was amazed at how easy it was!! (she's just 94 pounds but I still couldn't do that before). I just thought OMG those side planks and pushups really do something for me!! It feels so good to be stronger, thanks!

What motivates me to keep going is the fact that I always feel happier and more energized after working out, especially doing Pop Pilates. Being in veterinary school and taking 26 hours a semester, we sit in a classroom for 9 hours out of the day and then go home to study for another 5-6 hours...a lot of sitting. Working out early in the morning makes me more motivated to power through the rest of my day and has allowed me to focus more effectively on my studies! Thanks Cassy!

I'm a yoga instructor and what motivates me is seeing my students improve in their health and their yoga practice. Its amazing when you can achieve a challenging pose in yoga, but when you yourself can aspire others accomplish their goals and see them progress in their practice from the first moment they step foot in that door with all the issues they may have had and that they over came.. is truly inspirational I have some of the most amazing students. They will continue to motivate me always.

My own successes are the ultimate motivation for me. Looking back at old photos and keeping up with current progress photos keeps me determined to eat clean and train to my best potential. Seeing how far I've come from a year ago keeps me going and gives me the extra boost I need to run the last mile or finish the last set of crunches! Remembering my own accomplishments is a reminder that if I set my mind to something, I CAN do it!

Honestly you are my fitness inspiration! I've always been really active. But I got stuck in a rut that you got me out of. I can relate so much to your post about how you weren't born with this body and you have to work hard and eat clean because you can't get away with eating bad meals everyday. You motivate me to keep going. I wouldn't be able to make it through some workouts with out 'train insane or remain the same' running through my head. You have truly inspired me. Thank you!

What also keeps me going is seeing the changes in my body daily, weekly, and monthly (I have MUSCLES!)...my increased energy and mood...the way exercise has helped me with my depression. My kids are seeing their mom eating well and exercising to be HEALTHY not just skinny (even though that is a bonus) knowing I'm teaching them that means the world to me. When I feel like giving up I think of how hard it was to start on this journey, of how I felt then and the pride I feel now...it's amazing.

And last but most importantly, YOU motivate me Cassey. I worked out with many instructors on cable over 5 years, and none were as challenging, fun, & inspirational as you. When I tried your video the first time, it awakened me to the plateau I was stuck at. You're why I moved my computer, desk, and internet connection downstairs so I have more space to workout with you.
YOUR workouts are the MOST fun! I'm SO EXCITED to do them!
My mom helped me with the move. so I wanna win the $ for her.

As cheesy as this sounds, you motivate me to keep going! I swear i have never seen you grimace or look angry/sad in any of your videos, your always so happy, and you instantly brighten my otherwise gloomy day. without the support you give everybody so willingly and generously (unlike so many other fitness coaches who charge hideous amounts of money) i would never have been able to shed the fat that i've been carrying for the past two years!! i owe my health to you, and i'll stand by you forever

I have depression. Sometimes it gets hard, but when I'm working out all of that goes away for a while. When I'm sweating or my muscles are burning I don't feel the weight of life on my shoulders. The more I exercise, the better I feel. As long as I keep going, everything will become better. My physical and mental health is improving vastly. My boyfriend is so supportive. He takes me bike riding, and (though he hates it) jogs with me. Happiness is my motivation.

"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" This quote is what motivates me. I've never really been a runner, but I started this 8 week running program and I'm just a week away from completing it! I never thought I'd be able to run for 30 minutes without needing my inhaler, but I can! I've reached my goal and I now know I have won something huge for myself! That and I love running so much I get excited to work out!

I honestly have quite a few reasons for motivation. Growing up, my mother was an alcoholic and our family life was bad, and I used to get so angry. I use that leftover anger to fuel my motivation. On a lighter note, I've been following you hardcore for the last two months in preparation for my wedding. (Next Saturday!!) and so far have lost two inches off each body part and have never felt better. Thank you so much for turning my workouts from angry, unhappy and boring to upbeat and uplifting.

What motivates me to keep going is my older sister. Just 7 months ago, She was too lazy to workout and her excuse was that sleeping burned calories and that was good enough. Not only that, but she barely ate any fruits or veggies. When I got sick with gallstones and lost weight after surgery, she decided to change her habits and now she works out harder than I do and eats just as clean as i do. She's practically my personal trainer now and keeps me motivated when I don't wanna push myself

I've spent almost all of 2012 battling severe fatigue and anxiety that we FINALLY found out was linked to hypothyroidism. Now I'm relearning how to be healthy. For much of the year, I was so exhausted I couldn't move off the couch. Now I'm at a point where I can exercise more, fix up my nutrition, and in general am more active. What keeps me going is learning how to live healthily with this new info about my body. I was healthy once, and I can be again. I just have to keep going every day.

I run and do your videos everyday. I'm 20 and ran my first half marathon this past October. I'm planning on running my first full marathon next fall. I think that your videos are the perfect cross training to keep my workouts interesting! My grandpa is 72 years old and ran his first ULTRAMARATHON this past summer. The quote that really inspires me to do a workout when I dont feel like it or eat clean when its not convenient is "Don't sacrifice what you want now for what you truly want." About a year ago at the age of 19 I was overweight, unhealthy, had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I started eating clean and exercising. I went in about a year from not being able to run a half a mile to running a mile in under 7 minutes, from not being able to do a full push-up (standard) to being able to do 25 in addition I lost over 30 pds. what motivates me is the progress and strength gained. I've come a long way to go back ,so that's what keeps me motivated.

I get motivation from all over the place like music, pinterest, etc. but my main motivation comes from mentally picturing then finish line. that kept me going on long tough, and sometimes boring workouts. What motivates me to keep going is my mom! She's a single mom and raised me while going to school and working at the same time. She has always encouraged me to strive for my goals and NEVER give up. She is an amazing role model! As for a quote for me it's the Marianne Williamson quote that starts out "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure" Our body's and our minds are so powerful we just have to find that inner strength!

My past self motivates me. I played soccer my whole life and swam in high school. But after I graduated I no longer had sports to keep me active. I got really out of shape and had no energy. I would pick up workouts every once and a while but I never stuck with them for long. Blogilates is the one thing that I have stuck with and that really works for me. I'm looking and feeling better then I did when I was a teenager, and that is what keeps me going!

What motivates me to keep going is a quote my track coach told us all season last year in the weight room, "The burn is your friend! Embrace the burn and visualize your muscles getting stronger through the pain". Every time I'm doing your pilates videos or doing weights I remember that quote. As I run I remember the quote, "Unless you puke, faint, or die, KEEP GOING!". That quote helps me to push through and keep going on the days I am not feeling my best. :)

My motivation is how much better I feel, both physically and mentally, when I am eating clean and working out regularly. It's incredible how much of a difference eating clean can make in my mood and energy levels, and working out gives me such a sense of pride in myself and what I can accomplish. Plus, seeing results is always a plus! I've slacked a bit in the past few weeks (finals pressure definitely makes it hard!) but I'm really excited to get back into the swing of things and go hard!

There are a couple of things that I do before I work out. First, I say a small prayer, that God will give me the physical and mental strength to break through the barriers that I have let stop me. Secondly, I remember the quote, "No fear, no excuses." I've learned that mentally preparing for a workout is what helps me succeed! Love your videos so much!

There are days that I feel lazy, or I've eaten horribly or something, but I don't let myself give up because no matter how I look physically, I want to be healthy for the future. Only I have the power to change it, which means only I have the power to keep it the way it is now, or to make it better, stronger and healthier! While I workout you saying those great quotes (Train insane or remane the same) and stories, always help keep me going even through the pain. You're drive is a huge motivation and inspires me to visit your page:)
I feel like I don't have to hide anymore!

what motivates me to keep going is seeing my body transform, seeing myself shrinking and the numbers decrease. And when people ask "have you lost weight?" or when I go to the store and I try on clothes and it finally looks GOOD. And lastly, YOU motivate me cassie. Every time I want to give up I tell myself train insane or remain the same! If I won I would take myself to buy new workout clothes dry fit stuff is so expensive! so I have pants that stay wet it's SO uncomfortable :(

whenever i feel low on motivation or i feel like giving up, i look at a baby/toddler picture of myself. i see my smiling, young, innocent face and think "i want to give her the best life possible-- healthy, strong and happy". i dont want to let her down.

My motivation is myself. I don't want to let myself down, it's as simple as that! I'm the most important person to myself because If I wasn't healthy and ready to face everything head on, I wouldn't be able to be there for the people who I care about the most. I've learned to love myself thanks to you and with that, I am able to teach other people to do the very same thing -- and that is what truly matters to me.

What motivates me is the continuation of bettering myself. Just 5 years ago I was a homeless drug addict with an eating disorder at 5' 4" and 89 lbs. At age 19 I began taking healthy steps. I've been clean and healthy for 5 years this December :) Exercise and trying to be healthy was truly my life saver. So what motivated me to work out? Well...my overall health and well-being, of course. :)

A quote that has been a huge motciator since I was a child is "The proof of gold is fire." If I ever feel discouraged or unmovitavted, I think of this quote and realize that in order for your dreams to truth to gold, they have to go through the fire of hard work. If I stay in my comfort zone, nothing will be acheived. If I get out there and work my butt off, I will reap the beautiful goldennn harvest of my hard work. I hope this encourages and inspires someone. Happy Holidays =]

My daughter is my motivation. She is 2 1/2 years old and is positively the best thing in my life. I know that I have to be healthy to be in her life as long as possible. I want to instill a healthy lifestyle in her and get her going in the right direction so that when she has children of her own she can pass that along to them as well. If I feel lazy or like eating an entire bag of oreos, I just look at her and that's all it takes. I want her to see me as a healthy and happy mommy.

My motivation comes partially from your great attitude toward health, from the vast array of pinterest boards related to health and largely from my own progress. I never wanted to stick with anything health related until I finally saw a difference in my body and my health. It does wonders in keeping me motivated. So thank you!

My motivation is myself, after all if I can't love who I am I will never achieve my goals. I love running and lifting, so I want to continue on my journey to get strong and run a 10k in April. When I see how far I've already progressed I get excited and I know I can go further. Also I am planning on returning to school to become an RN and I want to set an example for my future patients. Loving my body is top priority and I plan on treating it right for the rest of my life!

When I don't push myself as hard as I want to, I go back and try again! I will never give up trying to better my body, my mind and my heart. I owe it to you, Cassey! Thank you. :)

What keeps me going is the feeling of happiness that I have felt over the last year of fitness and fat loss that I've achieved. I've never been so proud of myself and I've never felt so GOOD (mentally and physically). That happiness is what keeps me motivated and keeps me going even when I feel like crap.

My motivation started out as only other people. I gained 100 lbs during my complicated pregnancy and I have now gone from 220 to 160. All because of your videos, eating clean, and my own variety of workouts I do daily. I am now inspired by other people AND myself! (:

I'm a runner so when my legs are burning and the urge to stop becomes almost unbearable I chant any one of these quotes:
"Your legs aren't giving out, your head is giving up. Keep going."
"Don't quit now, you're already in pain, you're already hurt, get a reward from it."
"Don't run with your legs, run with your heart."
I push through it. And when it's over the pride I feel motivates me to get up the next morning and do it again!

Currently, I am motivated by the fact that I am getting married! YAY! Not only am I getting married and need to fit into that wedding gown, but my fiance is sooo encouraging. He always pushes me to be a better person and motivates me to keep working towards my goals and not give up even when I feel like I am not moving foward. So the quote I have been living by is... The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday! Love it!

    My motivations,
    1) I want to feel better about myself, to be proud when i look in the mirror and not find the need to compare myself to others.
    2) the sensation of finishing a workout and feeling the burns. It shows me that I made an effort and I am stronger than I think !
    3) to show my family I can do it ! They mock me for being the biggest and I want to show them that words will never hurt me !
+ I really really really want to do the splits again !

I stay motivated by those in my family who worked hard but never made/had time to take care of themselves. I've watched them age & their bodies start to give out because of that. I'm lucky enough to have the time to the things that make me not only happy, but healthy, and I do my best to remind myself take full advantage!

Another reason to keep pushing through despite all the business in life as a pre-med college student who is double majoring. If I want to tell people to live healthy, gotta do it first right? :D

My family motivates me. I moved away a few years ago and every time I go home to visit I like tell them about my fitness accomplishments and new goals. I finished my first half Marathon in October and now I'm training for a full. I want to be a good role model for my niece and she already knows that when aunt Ally is stretching in the living room that means she's going for a run. And my brother and I are both trying to get better at pull ups so we motivate each other with that.

I wrote many different comments about my motivations, 'cuz 500 characters isn't enough. My newest motivation is my new exercise space! I just moved my 20' iMac from the upstairs bedroom to my living room downstairs. Now I have room to work to my full potential! I can't wait!
If I won the $ I'd give it to my Mom, to contribute to our household & healthy grocery bill. My Mom is beyond supportive in helping me be healthy. She's why I have a home to workout in, and live well.
    Happy New Year.

Your enthusiasm also motivates me. My NY resolutions are:
1 Strictly follow the workout calendars on Blogilates.
2 Eat CLEAN! I'm giving up sodas all together.
3 Try to drink a gallon of water everyday (sadly there are some days i don't drink any.)
4 Lose inches to fit into my wedding dress and look great for my October wedding.
If i won the $200 i'd put it towards my wedding dress fund! Thank you for creating Blogilates it saved me!

Having my heart broken has ended up being my greatest motivation. Knowing that I can be stronger and better than the way he left me -- knowing that I am in control of my emotions and can push myself to be so much more than he ever saw -- is one of the best feelings in the world. I may be going slowly, but I'm still lapping that dude sitting on the couch.
Also, being accepted into my dream school after 2 years at jr. college reminds me that the things I want are in reach-- if I keep reaching!

There are many things that motivate me - I want to be comfortable in my own body and to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. I do not want to be held back from things I want to try. Whenever I feel unmotivated, my friend always pushes me to workout anyways (which I am grateful for afterward) and I do the same for her. POPpilates also keeps me motivated because I cannot afford a gym membership but get an amazing full-body workout that I can change from day to day.

Self-acceptance is what motivates me on a daily basis. I think you have to love yourself first before you go about making changes, such as eating healthy or incorporating exercise into your daily life. The rest eventually will fall into place. At the end of the day, it is you that is challenging yourself.

What motivates me to keep going? 1) looking at pictures of my past and seeing how fat I have come since then and picturing what I will look like in a couple months 2) my peers and family who are always giving me positive help by helping me stick to eating good foods and reminding me to skip out on the little deserts 3) realizing that just like Cassey I can be a role model to for those around me who may want to get healthy and have fun while doing it just like I did! Thanks Cassey!

There is always great motivation from family, friends and co-workers. But I think the best are the patients I work with. A lot do not care and just want a quickie pill to fix their problems. But every once in a while, there is one patient that gets that fire in their eyes to make all the changes needed to get heathier. That is the biggest motivator to keep trying.

There's many things that motivate me from the music I listen to at the gym, to the positive comments my coach gives me after accomplishing something I've been work on. Also watching someone put their all into a workout at a the gym to improve themselves it a great motivator of mine because it reminds me to never give up and push harder. Another motivator is looking at my prom dress&graduation gown and thinking how amazing I want to look on the dance floor or crossing the stage in May.

My motivation is that improving myself is one thing completely within my control. People say you can do everything you dream of, but frankly - there's always waiting and disappointments and other setbacks because ultimately, the final decision (of getting into med school, of getting your dream job, etc) isn't always up for you to make. You can do your best, but sometimes it's meant for later. But doing better for myself is something I can decide here and now without anybody else's yea or nay.

My motivation is my dad. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's in 2005 and is now in a wheelchair. He used to ride his bike 10 miles, went watersking, loved being outdoors and would give anything to do all those things again. When I'm working out and feel like giving up, or feel I can't hold on one more second, I think of him (and others affected) and I get the push to keep moving, because I can and should. I would love to run a half marathon in his honor and to push myself a little farther.

When I'm working out and feel like quitting because I'm tired or uncomfortable, I think about both of my parents who passed away, and I think about what they would give to have one more day in a physical body to even be ABLE to go for a run and breathe in the fresh air and all that. It always makes me try a little harder and even "appreciate" the pain.

I strive to eat clean as a family, so I have to find/create yummy recipes that are healthy, affordable, and not too complex (not always easy to do). My daughter (who's been ill recently) motivates me to be a healthier, happier me so I can model that for her and be at my best so I can properly care for her. I listen to uplifting music, say positive affirmations, read good books & blogs like yours! I CHOOSE to keep going, whether I'm continuing from a good day the day before or a not so good day.
