This really means alot that you posted this video, I actually went through the same thing this week and I was getting really down on myself and I thought it would never pass but I watched your video 'What scares you" and I tried that. I spoke up more in class and got more involved, when I went to the gym, I joined the guys and they helped me get a good work out. So it def helped my confidence, really this whole experience did and i just want to thank you for being so a positive role-model. :)

Cassey is right- it's mental/ spiritual strength. Quitting smoking taught me this. Overcoming obstacles teaches u how strong u are. Whether you're struggling with a craving or to finish a workout, here's a tip: instead of fighting against the discomfort, just allow yourself to feel it & then make the conscious choice to push through. Yes, my arms hurt, & I'm doing this pushup anyway! It's empowering. You're worth it, aren't you?

You remind me so much of my former swim coach who pushed me so hard that I just got better, even at the dreaded butterfly! I totally wanna quit sometimes too! good luck to you! I try to think about the end goal too I want when I wanna quit. I think about the body I want and how I want to be stronger. Sometime I don't push myself when I workout then I think to myself, if I'm putting in the time to workout I might as well do it right.
When I feel like I just don't want to work out at all, I actually think about your quote: 'Train insane or remain the same.' It reminds me that I'll never see any results if I don't at least try and push through! So thanks, Cassey :)

Thanks for this Cassey! I'm about to do some of your workouts and I saw this video on the sidebar. I just started doing these exercises and truly trying to live a healthy life for the past 2 weeks, but I can already feel a difference! The exercises are still pretty difficult, but I'm going to keep what you said in this video in mind during my workouts. I can't wait to wear a bikini this summer for the first time since I was like 8 years old lol! Love you so much Cassey and I hope you're doing well! :)

Thank you! :) I struggle with this so much. After my personal trainer session, I do 40 minutes of elliptical but go to my car in between to get my iPod. It's so easy to think about just driving away and skipping cardio. Sometimes I do and I feel so guilty and lazy afterwords because theres no reason I can't do the cardio. Thanks for this little kick in the butt!

I havent worked out in two weeks and then I saw your thigh workout on Pinterest and I worked out for the first time and then I couldnt get up off the floor lol. You give a good amount of inspiration to keep me wanting to workout!

Cassey, I just wanted to let you know that your videos help me to start working out~ I'm going to change myself!! I hate feeling chubby and looking like a giant on pictures while my friends are so lean and skinny. (one of the disadvantages of living in asia) I was starting to do your cardio training but in the middle I can't even follow you because I think it was so hard and it's killing me, but I was wrong!! From now on I'm going to work hard and push hard. I will change!!!
Sunday I am going to do a very intensive work out and it's for a half hour, but they said after that half hour your body will still burning those calories like your still sporting for the rest of the day Althusser video helped me to get the motivation c: going to watch this Sunday again before I start the workout ^,^
I know exactly what you mean. I breathe through my mouth a lot when I work out and it always makes my throat dry. Over time I've pretty much figured out the right amount of water to drink to soothe my throat without filling my stomach and making me sick. For me, about three or four SMALL sips will do it. But overall, just try to control your breathing; you're not suppose to breathe entirely through your mouth, but it's really hard not to; it just takes practice.
it's really annoying, it has happened with me too, you're not the only one :c... but I guess you have to focus on your goal of exercising, of all its benefits, on how good it will be to you. Cassey here helps me a lot. Good luck! Love
Oh my gosh this reminds me of a time when I was doing track during school. My coach made me run so long really fast!!! I was EXHAUSTED. and I can still remember him saying "c'mon!!! Finish strong!!! Keep going!! You're almost there!! Finish strong!!!!!" I ran so fast just so I could be on break already!! But seriously I didn't even know I could run that fast -.- Ahha that was kinda random but that's what I thought of while watching haha

I agree. I mean, you should work hard. (hard breathing, sweating, muscle burning and all that) But you should listen to your body and stop when you're feeling TOO pushed. Right?

Aiden Hickling I hate when that happens. That's why I lock the door when I work out and when people laugh, think about it. you're the one sweating buckets and pushing yourself and exercising. And they're not. So who's laughing now? 😊
