But I often work long hours, and having all that food there is just too tempting. Hey! I had the same problem, and my solution was a mix of different spices. A carrot or any other vegetable can taste really boring- you just have to cook them the right way. Try to "blanch" a carrot with some spices and butter. You just have to try many things and then you will find something.

You don't need bean dip specifically. You can used canned refried beans in the canned food section/mexican food section. Some brands are fat free or lower in sodium.

You can make them yourself and it's really easy: 3 cups whole wheat flour 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/3 cup of canola oil 1 cup of hot water. You basically mix everything and then divide the dough, roll them into circles and cook them on an ungreased griddle/pan. ^^
I work and there is usually no room in our refrigerators, everyone there usually brings their lunch. I use an ice pack and prepare the lunch the night before and leave it in the fridge. It usually stays fairly cool until lunch time.
Being a vegetarian I have to say: THANK YOU! Everywhere I go, people say "Eat beef/chicken/ham..etc." Almost every health/fitness channel talks about meat. Almost every vegetarian will say thanks once they watch this vid. You are an inspiration :')

I am in no way complaining, trust me I love your videos and find them very helpful. But one thing that I struggle with when bringing my lunch is keeping things cool. It is very hard to bring a lot of things in fear of them going bad after not being refrigerated. If so could you please make a video of things that are able to be kept for longer periods of time or just ways to keep things cool longer. Thanks :)

there is a type of lunchbox that has a built in gel cooler so it keeps your food cool and fresh!! best thing is that it goes a long way and does not condense!!!!
a regular salad with a fruit salad side, im not sure why you don't eat meat, however it is very crucial for a healthy diet, even just a little chicken in your salad but if not I recommend special k protein bars! try that! :) if you want to switch it up switch out the salad for a homemade tomatoe or veggie soup!
you can get low calorie cheese at any supermarket... as for the tortilla you might want to try different grocery stores and see who carries what.. its the best way to find wat you need

Cassey, I really love you. My parents aren't big on healthy eating at all so while we have some fruits and veggies, we don't have a lot of variety so I can't mix it up :( To eat healthy is to eat the same things everyday. Once I buy my own groceries, I'm using your recipes everyday. And when I have kids, I know they will be eating clean :)
I would try making your own guacamole and hummus which you can eat with a variety of veggies. Also, try making sushi/nori wraps where you can control the ingredients. Stuffed peppers are great, you can look up a bunch of recipes for the 'stuffing' and you don't need to cook anything, not even the pepper. try searching for 'raw vegan' recipes-that should pull of some good sites.
Hey Cassey, I read in the book the Dorm Room Diet that tortillas pack in a lot more carbs than actual bread does. I'm not sure what types of tortillas they were comparing to what types of bread but I just found this interesting. What do you think about this?

Hey Casey! I made a wrap today to take to college, (inspired by this video) I chopped up strawberries, cucumber, and avo :) It was so good!!
