    Oh my goodness I just made this but with some modifications to work with what I had in my kitchen... Used spinach instead of kale, and maple peanut butter instead of normal peanut butter. Omg this is so yummy! Sooo good! I can't wait to make it again! :)

    • @koellekind
      @koellekind 10 лет назад

      Spinach! Awesome idea, thanks! I'll do that too, I was just thinking what I can use instead of kale which I don't like! :o)

    Omg, this has become one of my favorite salad/noodle dishes! I actually add a dash of soy sauce, fish sauce, 1/3 cup of sweet corn and some green onions as topping, so good! Thank you love you videos.

    this looks so yummy! cant' wait to make them. Thanks for sharing! btw, if you want your noodles to be softer like pasta after you rinse them you let them soak with some sea salt and vinegar for like an hour and then rinse them.

    They are totally different!

    Made this but blended the avocado into the dressing, substituted angel hair shirataki for the kelp noodles, and fried it all in a little olive oil starting with the kale to get that yummy kale chips smell/flavor.
    Also realized that health food basically allows me to eat a full dinner for breakfast and still be healthier & more low cal than I'd be if I ate cereal. So that's, like, a huge plus :P

    • @musicbyastrid
      @musicbyastrid 9 лет назад

      Sigourney Tryphaena I mean, it definitely has a leafy veggie taste, and some people hate that flavor in general. Different people have different reactions to flavor. Personally I like kale, and if you liked kale chips you should be good. If you're one of those people who runs screaming from brussels sprouts, kale has a milder version of sprout flavor, so maybe stay away and find a different vegetable. Spinach is also ultra healthy and doesn't really taste of anything, so you could try that if you're scared of raw kale :)

      Sigourney Tryphaena Yeah np! I love giving cooking advice :)

      musicbyastrid YES! Shirataki noodles are much better. You can also add lime juice to this.

    Kelp noodles remind me.of agaragar. Its made of seaweed too.. And when u boil it, it dissolve and will harden into a crunchy jelly when chilled.

    I think I'd probably make this with rice noodles instead, blanch the kale for a few seconds to soften it, and maybe add a few chopped peanuts for garnish/crunch.

  • @MariKing-o3b

    That look amazing, but if you want your noddles softer, let the noddles sit in some lemon, baking soda and water for a couple of minutes then rinse with water. They’ll be nice and soft.
