The lead guitar throughout this song is so fluid and playful. Rossi was on such a wonderful roll. Hello! was a masterclass in rock'n'roll. Even the deep cuts hit the spot. ☺
Rossi still is. That slide guitar playing on this song is one of the ugliest sounding slide guitar playing I think I've ever heard, but still it fits the song and the mood so well!
The bit following the solo when it quietens and then comes back into full blown Quo, piano and all, is a classic moment. All of Quo is epitomised in a 10 second burst of relentless, toe tapping, head nodding boogie. Just brilliant...!
The double live album ‘live’ recorded at Glasgow Apollo, released in 1976 (I think), is the livest rock album that you will ever hear. No overdubs, warts and all rocking boogie to blow your socks off.
An absolutely belter of a track from my favourite album of all time. Its great to see the younger generation and the American audience, such as Mr Rock and Roll here enjoying tge sound of Britains greatest Hard Rock band!
Another fine example of what Quo are all about. This time, it's a slightly slower, gentler sound but still has that rocking sound to it. A slight experimentation going on with the lead guitar which fits the song really well. A Rick Parfitt co-composition, who's also the singer in this one. A wonderful song that gets you prepared for the following track, namely, 'Blue-eyed Lady', which ups the tempo somewhat! If you're doing the entire album, don't forget, 'Claudie', which is a slightly melancholic song but still worthy of a reaction. After that, there's only the aforementioned, 'Blue-eyed Laby', and, 'It's Better Now.' And, once you've done this album, you might want to consider either, 'Piledriver', with the fantastic opener, 'Don't Waste My Time', that certainly blows the wax out of your ears! Their live stuff is great, but you ought to lay down the foundations with the studio versions, in order to full appreciate what's going on in the live performances. You won't regret it. Us fans tend to bang on about the '72-'76 period as being their best era, but there's still the odd gem to be found in their later work. 'Hold You Back', from the RAOTW album, for example. 'Over The Edge', from the, 'Just Supposin' album wouldn't go amiss, either. But, saying that, you really have to do, 'Backwater/Just Take Me', and/or, 'Little Lady/Most of the Time', at some point in the not too distant future.
Great review. From Quo’s 1st UK no’1 album Hello. On the level would be a good studio choice next. Pleased to hear your going to review Quo live. Their Live album from 1976 is raw & pure Quo of the time, no overdubs & nothing touched at all. There’s also some brilliant live video footage…Milton Keynes bowl 1984, NEC arena 1982, Just doin it 2006 & Frantic 4 Wembley 2014 ( reunion show) All pretty full on 🎸🇬🇧
Great reaction to yet another great quo track, blue eyed lady's a great track, that will get your heart pumping Iam loveing your quo trip. 12 bar boogie blues is the best sound ever, and remember on the seventh day god created status quo❤❤😊 thanks
In that 72,73,74,75 and 76 period there are so many hidden gems on the albums that could have been singles . From blues to country with a kick on fine fine fine. You'll find some great tracks that are under the radar on those albums!
I glad to hear you are enjoying the Quo. As a life long fan with all their albums, it amazes me that they never made over your side of the pond, but I see so many reactors and interviewed people that really like them, I even heard there is a small fan club for them over there. Greeting from England
My favourite quo song and will be till the day I die is little lady followed by most of the time. To me on the level is the best album that quo has made.
Yes, the Hello album is widely considered to be the Quo's best album. Go ahead and play all of it! But please react to "Rain" from the Blue for You album. It will blow your mind!
I think the Hello album is one of the best ever made. It has everything and captures the very essence of Quo and what they were about and where they were goin.
"Piledriver" is a must album to listen to.From the 1st track "Don"t Waste My Time" you"ll be hooked. There's a couple of slow tracks "A Year" and "Unspoken Words",but it's a classic rock n roll album."Paperplane" and "Big Fat Mama" are on there, which i know you've reacted to,but also a brilliant cover of The Doors track "Roadhouse Blues".
Do all the early albums my friend they are different class. Ma Kelly’s Greasy Spoon, Dog Of two head, Piledriver, Quo, On the Level, Blue For you 👍🏻🏴
Not every Quo-song is a head banger, but they have the good feeling alright.. You'll like more of it from thjis album, but also a couple of "softies" (calmer ones), but Blue Eyed Lady is a classic rocker with one of the best Rossi solos than ever.. Rock on! Also try songs from the "Ma Kelly's Spoon" album from 1970 and "Dog of Two Head" in 1971, before "Piledriver" in 1972..
Mr Rock N Roll please please react to deep purple song highway star official 1972 video in my opinion one of the best rock songs of all time and a great song to have on whilst you are driving your car
Pleased that you are contemplating going to go down the LIVE root but be careful there is younger Quo and then the later version- you should begin with the younger version they are the most vibrant but later Quo is every bit as energetic with just Rick and Francis Andy Bown and Rhino. First though you have to try out the earlier albums like Piledriver Dog of two head Quo Blue for You On the Level then you will have rough idea of what is going on! SORRY BUT YOUR JOURNEY HAS YET TO BEGIN, Hello was a good beginning but you have to go back to the start of their journey with Dog Ma Kelly Piledriver later onto Quo and Blue for you- you can't ignore those albums because the LIVE QUO those albums were their lynchpin, sorry to be the bearer of bad news!! x
Please do more albums like you've done with "Hello!" Live shows are great but mostly you'll get the same songs agian and again and agian... wheras if you go through some albums you'll discover songs they never (or rarely) done/do live. Just a tip from a life long Quo fan. And by the way it's more than ok to stretch beyond the 1970s catalogue :)
MAN, i hope i dont hurt feelers. Is an alright song. Just not my cup of tea. And i know, opinions and "cup a tea" are like bung-holes, every one has one. Just being honest. Sorry
hey heath i have to reaction requests i would luv you to do, both are very old but stil awesome one is funnel of love by wanda jackson the other is from the beavis and butthead show/the cramps the song is bikini girls with machine guns- neither is political

Blue Eyed Lady, a MUST, it should have been a single!
April, Spring summer and Wednesday is one of my favourites, especially the live version
Legendary, Status Quo, Number One Band rock !!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘
From one of the best rock albums of all time, a classic! Haven't listened to it for ages, playing it on my phone now, brilliant!
The lead guitar throughout this song is so fluid and playful. Rossi was on such a wonderful roll. Hello! was a masterclass in rock'n'roll. Even the deep cuts hit the spot. ☺
Rossi still is..
Rossi still is. That slide guitar playing on this song is one of the ugliest sounding slide guitar playing I think I've ever heard, but still it fits the song and the mood so well!
Legendary song from a legendary album
I have being listening to these songs 50 years long. You just never get tired of hearing them.
Yes, had the same feeling
The bit following the solo when it quietens and then comes back into full blown Quo, piano and all, is a classic moment. All of Quo is epitomised in a 10 second burst of relentless, toe tapping, head nodding boogie. Just brilliant...!

Was up in the balcony on that night, security was trying to stop us bouncing
Awesome! Keep going ... when you get to the "Quo" album (on your wall), you must check out "Backwater" first ... and turn it up to "11". 😆
Quo back then, we're head and shoulders above any band on the RnR planet!!!
The best Quo Studio album definitely Quo 72_76 were untouchable. Still cannot wait until you do 4500 times Milton Keynes. So glad you love the Quo

You should listen to Blue eyed lady from the album, it's right up your street
Railroad is the best🔥🔥🔥

One beautiful Rick's song and very nice Francis solo.
Long live real Quo...
To me one of the best endings to one of their songs
Love this song
Great reaction to yet another great quo track, blue eyed lady's a great track, that will get your heart pumping
Iam loveing your quo trip.

The "Frantic Four" era.
This album is LEGENDARY from start to finish!
I have a QUO song for you. Someone's Learning from the DOG OF TWO HEAD album.
I glad to hear you are enjoying the Quo. As a life long fan with all their albums, it amazes me that they never made over your side of the pond, but I see so many reactors and interviewed people that really like them, I even heard there is a small fan club for them over there. Greeting from England
Blue Eyed Lady studio version or the live version from the reunion shows (The Frantic Four's Final Fling)
There are not many bands that produced albums where every song could have been a hit single, Quo did 5 albums in a row I felt like that :)
Big thanks quo bro 💪💪🙏🙏😎🤠💥👌
People saying try Blue Eyed Lady. I would go to the Frantic Four live version as it's more complete with a proper ending.
Wahou...Great rock n roll song...Always Status quo..!
Superb album. All the songs are bangers.Great reaction. Glad you're enjoying the mighty Quo.The live tracks are even better.
My favourite quo song and will be till the day I die is little lady followed by most of the time. To me on the level is the best album that quo has made.
Not a bad shout. 2 sets of quo songs that have to be played together. These 2. Plus Backwater/Just Take Me.
Quo, is another banger
The Mighty Quo!!! 😀👍🏻🎸🎸🎸
Yes, the Hello album is widely considered to be the Quo's best album. Go ahead and play all of it!
But please react to "Rain" from the Blue for You album. It will blow your mind!
Over the years they had progressed such a long way from their 1968 hit on the radio "Pictures Of Matchstick Man"
"Pictures Of Matchstick Men"
I think the Hello album is one of the best ever made.

I really really think that you should carry on doing the entire albums, at least for Piledriver, Quo, On the Level and Blue for You 🤘
This is correct. Plus one or 2 from the Dog album (e.g. Railroad) And Junior's Wailing live of course.
@srodgers66 absolutely, and maybe, just maybe Whatever you Want, Just Supposin and Never too Late - what do you think?
@@jimharris367 Sorry, I'm a Frantic Four purist. I was out after RAOTW. Taken by punk!
@@srodgers66 fair enough 👍
Blue Eyed Lady!!
There's only one german word for that: Geeeeeiiiiil!🤘🤘🤘
Hold you back live At Birmingham nec and also Power of rock live at Birmingham nec are 2 great live ones 🤘🎸
And then BANG into Blue Eyed Lady!
I had the album cover picture painted on my bedroom wall...
You must listen to railroad 🔥🔥🔥
The album "Quo" has some heavy songs on it. Really believe you should have a listen
Maybe from an older album?
Railroad (Hardrock, Boogie, Blues) ruclips.net/video/w32_OMxTHjQ/видео.htmlsi=f5OEcvVaFL68QErZ
You really need to download the piledriver album
Have a listen to the live version of juniors wailing from the double live album.
Do all the early albums my friend they are different class. Ma Kelly’s Greasy Spoon, Dog Of two head, Piledriver, Quo, On the Level, Blue For you 👍🏻🏴

Blue Eyed Lady has a great riff, but the solo itself is so so.
You need to check out Backwater and just take me and Little Lady and Most of time
Try Little Lady from On The Level next.
wait till you play Blue eyed Lady. It’s gonna be nuts
Check out Slow Train, its on the 'Quo' album. In fact, listen to the whole album 😂. You won't regret it.
He already has.
He nearly exploded. Cant say that I blame him!

See the 2001 Munich AC/DC concert Bad Boy Boogie performance
I think that is the definision of rock'n roll⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Seen them both live at their peak. DC never came anywhere near the Quo as a live band. Also, DC had no light and shade on their albums!!
dont waste my time..
