Really love this series you're doing. All of the videos have been great so far. Also just wanted to say that Miami/South Florida have some great stadiums and arenas.
Awesome video thank you for showing love to Okc!! And for putting my alma mater edmond north in the video lol. But I’m not sure if they fit your criteria or not but all 3 edmond schools have large football stadiums about the same size as mustangs.
I been inside the mustang basketball stadium because of a winter basketball tournament… and the okc fairground stadium for high school basketball state… and a couple more locations
Bricktown is a cool neighborhood in OKC. As he said nearly every building is made of brick including the McDonald's in the neighborhood plus it has a canal and lots of shops and restaurants
From what I've heard, it isn't called "Newcastle" because the baseball team didn't want to be associated with a casino or gambling, not so much the town of Newcastle. The same thing would have happened if they tried to call it something like "River Wind" which is another nearby casino.
hopefully they go back to red endzones. and looks like they finally flipped the logo to face the home side since ive been there. was facing the away side (old home) for years after the current home stands were built.
The Thunder's Josh Giddey has a sister who plays basketball at SNU. Pretty weird for two Australians to end up here in Oklahoma but still cool regardlessl
Actually, the Seattle Supersonics were basically kicked out of the city - Seattle, that is. After they'd been sold to the team's current ownership group, the new owners demanded the City of Seattle build them their own pleasure palace of an arena that they (the club's owners) wouldn't contribute any money toward its construction, but would receive all revenues from - or else. Seattle has a long history of teams making similar threats, so the City told them to kick rocks, which was exactly what Clayboy Bennett wanted, and he quite happily took his toy to OKC, where he'd already had a deal in place for that pleasure palace he wanted.
Their minor league team is owned by the LA dodgers, so the team was called the OKC dodgers, idk if the dodgers stoped ownership last year or something but they are trying to get a new name. The OKC thunder are also getting a new arena and it will be in the place of prairie surfs
@@zachariahshort6546lolol. The distance from OKC to Edmond and OKC to Norman is essentially the same. Also, a large part of OKC is located in the same county as Norman. Norman stadiums should have been included in the video since Edmond was.
Well. Baseball is also really big in Japan, Venezuela, Mexico, and several Carribean islands. Soooo... Sorta Not only America. But nice joke though. Ha ha ha ha.
Love it! Heads up, Prairie Surf will soon be demo’d for the new $900m Thunder Arena.
Prairie Surf was originally called The Myriad and later became Cox Business Services Convention Center.
Thank for doing OKC
The softball stadium is now OGE Energy Field at Devon Park. Do the stadiums of Oklahoma's second largest city, Tulsa.
Watching this channel brings me inner peace ...
i understand this
I don’t think I would’ve predicted a D-2 stadium being on the thumbnail for one of these cities. Glad UCO gets its flowers

Mustang is a literal size of a small college campus
Might have been good to do the metro area to include Norman and tie it into your Big XII video
You should do a video on all Olympic stadiums from 1896-2024
I been inside the mustang basketball stadium because of a winter basketball tournament… and the okc fairground stadium for high school basketball state… and a couple more locations

We need UFL, NFL, MLB, NWSL, MLS and MLR In Oklahoma City with new Stadiums that could be next door or independent to OC Thunder Arena
They're gaining an all purpose stadium 🏟️ coming soon
OKC already has a triple A team so I doubt we ever get an MLB team

The OKC thunder are also getting a new arena and it will be in the place of prairie surfs
You failed to mention: Prairie Surf Studios is being demolished for the new OKC Thunder arena. Timeline is uncertain.

It’s not exactly a suburb. Norman is 30 minutes from okc and in another county.
