You left out the home arena of the ECHL's Kansas City Mavericks, the Cable Dahmer Arena in the suburb of Independence, MO, the hometown of Harry S Truman and site of his presidential library and museum.
Missouri side of KC is a dump now. So much crime it’s going to crap and all the jobs wealth and density have left to Johnson county Kansas where Overland Park, Olathe, and Lenexa kansas are.

If you look at the layout of Arrowhead Stadium and Kaufmann Stadium, it’s not a coincidence that they appear to be lined up. When the Truman Sports Complex (the name of the entire property) was designed, there was a plan to have a mobile roof that could roll from one stadium to the other. It wasn’t built at the time as a cost-saving measure, and there was also uncertainty about what kind of material to use as covering so that it would be lightweight but durable.
I remember in when i was in Boy Scouts we toured the speedway and our parents got to drive on the track. It was fun riding my moms mini van on the track.
Seen Newcastle United at the football ground and Garth Brooks in the arena when they were both brand new and they were both outstanding venues. Great memories in Kansas City!
Kansas City used to have a NHL called the Scouts. They played for 2 seasons and then moved to Colorado and became the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies moved to New Jersey and became the Devils
The Scouts played at Kemper (now HyVee) Arena, as did the NBA Kings. Kemper also hosted an NCAA Final Four, a Republican National Convention, and the American Royal's horse show and rodeo.
The Roos stopped playing at Muni a while back, while I was in college (around 2017). They moved to Swinney which is an on-campus gym with only a 1.6k capacity, definitely a downgrade in size, but considering the crowds, it fit more.
Interesting fact. Sporting Kansas City was previously the Kansas City Wizards. When they started, they called themselves The Wiz. On the day the franchise was announced, the EPA shut off Brush Creek for having too much human waste. So, the Wiz had a humorous double meaning. They would change their name.
Saw some other peeps mentioning the mavericks arena missing. Us locals consider just about anything touching KCMO as KC. Its a weird city is so many ways, not just the state line 🤣
8:15 "looks like it could survive heavy shelling"- that's because KC's boss Tom Pendergast owned the concrete company that supplied all city projects. The taxpayers may have overspent but they definitely got some ridiculously solid buildings out of it!
And now here's Mr. Know-it-All...Childrens Mercy Park hosted the NCAA Division II Football National Championship Game from 2014 to 2017 and Kansas will play two games there in 2024 while their own stadium is being rebuilt....Memorial Hall isn't really a sports venue anymore but it was the home of the Central States Wrestling promotion in the 70's and 80's and was where Ric Flair first won the NWA World Heavyweight title...right next to T-Mobile Center is the College Basketball Hall of Fame. The arena is usually busy all year....when Arrowhead and Kaufmann Stadiums were built there was a plan to have a rolling roof that would be used for both stadiums...Arrowhead has hosted the Big 12 Football Championship game and will also host Kansas games this year...the fountains at Kaufmann Stadium didn't get mentioned. They are one of the highlights of the ballpark. The scoreboard is a modern version of the old scoreboard at Kaufmann. The backdrop is greenery because if not you'd be watching the cars go down I-70...Hy-Vee Arena is old Kemper Arena. It's a community center now....The American Royal is more known for the parade and the BBQ competition (which is at the speedway now) than the rodeo and livestock show...Municipal Auditorium is also home to the NAIA Basketball Tournament where on the first couple of days of the tournament, they play games all day from 8 am to 11 pm or later..
Hah, funny, the football ground in this video is the first place I saw Newcastle United play. Dire friendly, 0-0 without a shot on goal 😂. Got to meet Colo and Jonas though!
Kansas City used to have the Kansas City Kings for the NBA before they moved to Sacramento and the Kansas City Scouts for the NHL before moving to New Jersey and becoming the New Jersey Devils
Arrowhead and Royals Stadium are not fantastic but they've stood the test of time much better than almost any other stadium of that era. Royals stadium is decent and they've upgraded it nicely.
Lol “most of its not in Kansas” what are you talking about ? Johnson county Kansas has the most jobs and highest density. Where Overland Park , Olathe and Lenexa are
How many accounts are you going to create to troll and trash KCMO across the internet? You should make a channel all about JoCo. I'm sure you will get a million subscribers.
You say the players love Arrowhead for the noise, but that's about where the praise ends. It's one of the worst facilities in the NFL as voted by the players themselves

You missed the Independence Events Center arena. They have minor league hockey and indoor soccer teams.
My Great-Uncle, Alonzo Gentry, was the architect for Municipal Auditorium. Cool to see KC getting its own vid!
My hometown. Underrated city. Just need our NBA team back and then we’ll be complete.
Lived in KC for a year. Loved going to Sporting KC games. I'm also surprised you didn't mention the famous foundations in the Royal's outfield.

Speaking of crazy loud stadiums the Westfalen is something else , it was rockin today wow fabulous noise
My graduation ceremony was at Memorial Hall. I also saw Bernie Mac in concert there.

Hockey East or PWHL barns please!
Hy-vee arena 2017, i remember being at a motorcross event, and some dude died.
surprised you didn’t mention the fountains at kauffman. the biggest privately funded fountain in the world.
I was at the game where we brome the record for crowd noise. Never heard anything like it since.

Can’t believe that some section of the uncovered arrowhead has not been called ‘ KC and the sunshine stand ‘
Come FIFA World Cup 2026, someone will probably call it that... unless the games are at night 😊
The Kansas City Chiefs are basically the new Patriots in terms of how good they are!
That must be ‘deflating’ for the rest of the league

Let’s make some noise to Kansas City
Go City of Fountains in Kansas and Missouri combdined into one state

T-Mobil Center

Municipal Arena still hosts the NAIA basketball championships and also did for the first few NCAA basketball championships.

Dodger Stadium has greenery beyond the outfield and is very pretty to see during a day game
What about Cable Dahmer Arena, home of Kansas City Mavericks hockey and Kansas City Comets soccer?
stadiums of kolkata please
In the 70s the city (Missouri side) had NHL and NBA teams but soon left as they were losing money at the gate
UMKC no longer plays at Municipal, they play on campus at Swinney Rec
Hy Vee Arena was where pro wrestler Owen Hart fell to his death as he was being lowered into the ring before a match.
It will always be Kemper Arena in my heart.
