The Best Stadium in Every US State!

- We give our opinion on which is the best stadium in each and every state in the USA. Obviously it is purely subjective, and at times arbitrary (literally a coin toss). Thanks for watching!

You should have done the field of dreams for Iowa!. It’s iconic now.
Yes, that was like watching a dream.
Good shout
Kinnick with the kids is pretty special too but your not wrong.
I was thinking the same
@@MatinAmerica best tradition in all of college football
your rhymes about Maine were .. just insane
In the membrane
damn i didnt even get that for a minute
Only hunting and Hockey matter in Maine anyhow
One of the fun facts about LSU’s Tiger Stadium is that student dormitories were built into the stadium (obviously underneath the stands) and we’re in use until the 1980s. After that, some of the old dormitory rooms were used as office space until about 5 years ago. Imagine the hassle of living under a football stadium!
YEAH CUZ JEWISH PEOPLE DONT GO THERE
Imagine living under the stadium but not having a ticket to the game lol
Same with Ohio stadium
@@patrickwang3070 Huh?
That is weird but I discovered courts underneath a basketball coliseum in Balanga City, Bataan, Philippines. To be fair, most events in the coliseum happens at night while the court hearings are in daytime.
Crazy to see isotopes park represented here after watching all these vids about distant stadium’s. It’s a five minute walk from my house. Cheers for the representation of each state and thanks from New Mexico.
Ayy let’s go NM!!
It’s crazy that you watching a video about a stadium and there’s a stadium 5 minutes from your house😂 do live there cos you like stadiums or it was just a coincidence?
@@worstgamer1162 the stadium is close to the university that I attend, I moved to be closer to the school being near the stadium was just a bonus. I do love stadiums though
I was disappointed when the isotopes left Springfield, but I’m happy for Albuquerque
@@eliglickman7039 Go Lobos!
As a Nebraskan, I would’ve given it to TD Ameritrade Park because of the modernity, the atmosphere, and the design, but it is hard to argue with the bigger stadium. I appreciate all your research that went into this
How dare you! LOL!
I'm getting vibes from you that you're not a native Nebraskan as there is only one stadium that rises above the rest and that is the one featured in this video. It's not about size either. This is the same one that has sold out since the early 60s.
One thing about TD Ameritrade Stadium. When you go to a game there, you are more likely to see two good teams playing.
I thought you were gonna say the TD Garden
I agree with Frawley Stadium in Delaware, but I've always been in awe of the mammoth noisy "Dover Downs" speedway in Dover DE, which holds close to 100K spectators for racing events. Combine with the fact that you often see giant airplanes from nearby Dover AFB, and you've got quite a slice of Americana.
Not 100K anymore. It’s now under 50K fans. It’s extremely SAD to see my home track, pretty much going away.
A little surprised Delaware Stadium was not the choice as they just renovated it. However, Frawley Stadium is great
Great kind of Video, I would love to see a personal bucketlist video (worldwide, all kind of stadiums). Keep on going!
Fun fact: Barrow experiences 30 days of night annually. On one occasion it was attacked by a horde of marauding vampires. Ouch! And, although I'm a North Easterner, I am very impressed with the Vegas Raiders behemoth of a stadium. Wow! Youre gonna get exploded! Lol. Good stuff, m8. As always, excellent content on your part, sir. Lol. Cheers!
Doak Campbell Stadium: "It also has an interior"
Amazing video. You definitely put a lot of work into this!
Could you please make a video of the 2. Bundesliga in German Football/Soccer? It is a nice mix of some big arenas with over 60.000 seats mixed up with small and cozy stadiums. It would be great to see these combined with your iconic sense of humor.
It's in the works.
@@TheWideWorldofStadiums Thanks a lot!
I moved to NC fourteen years ago and am a huge sports fan. Love your channel and have seen every video, so it surprised me that you chose BankAmerica over the Durham Bulls Athletic Park or even Kidd Brewer at App State. Not as many amenities, but cooler looking and better views.
I love these videos. They are interesting and simple, but also very relaxing. Although my wife doesn’t quite understand why I like to watch videos of stadiums being ranked…🤔🙌🤣
I was low key more excited about your descriptions of each state rather than your stadium choices. Great vid tho!!
Love your channel and this has been my favorite video so far. I really like how you mixed between football, soccer and baseball stadiums. The only disagreement I have with this video it's how you didn't give it to the Broncos Stadiums. Even though I'm not a football fan, I find Broncos and Chiefs stadiums the most beautiful stadiums without a roof( my humble opinion).
The Isotopes Park for New Mexico is a solid choice, but as a New Mexican I’d urge you to take a look at the Bulldog Bowl in Artesia, mind you it’s a high school football stadium, or the Pit where the UNM Men’s and Women’s basketball play. Both are incredible venues as well, but awesome video!
Do you know which state has the most stadiums?
@@marionicka9053 I don’t. If I had to guess I’d say California, Texas, or Florida.
I love your work! Thank you for making such awesome videos!
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed that very much, very well done. What a beautiful country we live in.
Dudes humor is hilarious, love the channel!!
This guys consistent deadpan humor in every video is on point.
Love your videos. Do NHL Arenas for 2021-22
Yes please!
So glad that you chose RES for Utah. I completely agree. It is in a beautiful location in the Salt Lake Valley as to overlook the valley below it. Also, it has the best team in the state. Go Utes!
Another great vid, but you should do a video on Australian stadiums and Australian leagues
That video was a pleasant surprise, a great combination of humor and facts. Thanks, Wide World!
By the way, isn't the voice that of an Australian man?
Dude, love your stadium videos
You were talking about the view of the Gateway Arch from Busch Stadium when you came around to Missouri but if you're ever in that area, you should go check out the view of the stadium from inside the top of the Arch
Seeing Doak in person is something I wish everyone could do ‼️
As a resident of Massachusetts , I can confirm you are 100% correct about our love for Fenway park
Joining the loud calls for NHL Arenas please!!

These are stadiums not areas
@@nc2933 NBA Arenas was literally two videos ago
@@thinhnonyt yes but this is STADIUMS
I lowkey want to hangout with the narrator of these videos. He seems super chill
How about a few video on best stadium of each country. Maybe can be spilit into many videos by regions.etc America/Europe/East Asia/South Asia
For North Dakota, you should have gone with the Ralph Engelstad Arena. It's a hockey arena, not a stadium, but it's still the most impressive sports venue in the state. And even though it's the home of a college team, and doesn't have the capacity of an NHL arena, it is constantly praised, even by the likes of Wayne Gretzky. Another stadium of note would Newman Outdoor Field. While it's small even by minor league standards at just over 4,000, but it is a beautiful little ballpark and the games always have a fun atmosphere.
would like to see you do one of the olympic stadiums over the years ranking them
Great video. Love your offbeat humor
Cheers!
I've been to Children's Mercy Park (aka Sporting Park). It is as nice as advertised. As is (New) Busch Stadium.
Also, Ohio as the "Gozaimasu State." As a Japanese speaker, I love it.
Was actually at Busch stadium a couple weeks ago and that stadium is AMAZING
Great video and topic!
Cheers!
Providence Park is a special place, thanks for including it. PTFC
Hey I recommend looking at NHL arenas especially with 2 new arenas in UBS and Climate Pledge
I love Comerica Park Stadium but my favorite in Michigan is the new little ceasers arena.
Great video! But hard disagree on Nissan Stadium for Tennessee! At least in terms of actually watching a game, the way Neyland is built puts most fans on top of the action closer than Nissan (despite the much larger size of Neyland). Also, the view from the concourses by the Tennessee River are beautiful. Also, I’ll add that in Neyland there are classroom buildings actually inside of the structure of the stadium, which is a cool little addition.
It will probably be the next video.
Yep
But Tennessee...er...Fifteenessee plays there.
State Farm Stadium also includes a retractable field. It does so in order to get as much as the Arizona sun as possible...during the non summer months!
I’m a cubs fan so I’m happy you chose wrigley field for Illinois
As a Tennessean, the best stadium without a doubt is Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. This is more fact than opinion. I’ve been to both numerous times.
It’s in the 100k club as you mentioned, on a college campus, right on the Tennessee River where people boat to the games, located Downtown, giant brick arched entrance, and your in the foothills of the Smokies, which is a gorgeous setting for fall football. On top of all that, there’s even a mortuary under the Stadium lol
Ahhh but you’re wrong. Luton Town’s stadium Kenilworth Road is the worlds greatest sporting arena. They call it the Vatican of football. And Luton isn’t at all a bad place to live. Especially if you like being stabbed and stuff.
My fellow Tennessean, Geodis Park is now the indisputable best stadium in the state by a fairly large margin. At least until the new Titans stadium is built.
@@Logstickz LMAO, really??? No one cares about your little balls with dots on them. Not even a shadow of Neyland.
Man!! How do you not pick the Ralph Engelstad Arena for North Dakota? Best college hockey arena and atmosphere. Also I’d take the Fargodome over the Alerus, but great video. I enjoyed it!
I was strictly sticking to outdoor stadiums. Thanks for watching!
Would love to see a biggest and smallest professional/college stadium in each state
Fun fact: when it opened, comerica park had a longer distance to left field and the bull pens were behind right field. They eventually brought in the left field wall, moved the bullpens, and put new seats where the old bullpens were only a couple years after opening due to criticism

another great video thanks
Thanks for watching!
never seen the yalebowl before... thats super cool looking
Right when you mentioned PNC Park in Pennsylvania, an ad for PNC Bank came up.
US Bank and Lucas Oil are by far my favourite stadiums in the world. I feel so understood in those videos😂
I love the architectural style of Lucas Oil ***so much*** more than the bizarre ass billion dollar spaceships that every new stadium has been for the past 10 or so years. They're soulless boxes closer to hotels than stadiums and the weirder ones will age terribly. Stadiums like Lucas Oil are timeless.
@@HeelBJC I strongly suspect the design was inspired by the longstanding fieldhouse-style arenas that are common in the state. At least two originals are within the city limits: Hinkle Fieldhouse at Butler University, and the Fairgrounds Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. When the Pacers built a new arena (Bankers Life Fieldhouse), they took inspiration from the old fieldhouses. It's hardly surprising that the Colts did the same with theirs.
The older fieldhouses have a timeless look about them. Indianapolis recognized this when they built their latest sports facilities.
@@GuyIncognito575 I've been to both. Hinkle is a nice enough place, and I loved watching Butler's basketball games there. But Lucas Oil blends the old and the new, and where you see it as "bloated", I see it as a good homage to the classic architecture. We have our opinions, and I can definitely see where you're coming from preferring Hinkle, but I still prefer Lucas Oil Stadium.
I've been to Lucas Oil once, it was pretty impressive and I really like the window too. It's also easy to get to from KY.
Great choice of Comerica Park in Detroit. It’s a beautiful ballpark with a spectacular view of the skyline of downtown Detroit.
Comerica Park is one of the most dull vanilla stadiums in the country... very uninspired architectural design... The best thing about COPA is the pleasant wrap around concourse...
Michigan Stadium (aka The Big House) is by far the state of Michigan's best stadium! Which is why it has hosted everything from NHL Winter Classics to English Premier League games.
the large wall of windows in US Bank Stadium were actually the five largest pivoting doors in the entire world at the time of construction, allowing the team to open up that entire side of the stadium to the natural elements, permitted good enough weather to warrant doing so.
so ive had to watch you do these videos aout super obscure leagues so can you please make a video about de eredivisie?
Aside from lower division US soccer or indy league baseball, which leagues seem obscure to you? As far as I can tell, they are all leagues that are very popular, at least in their respective countries. Eredivisie would be cool though.
The South endzone is highly coveted in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium (Mississippi). It was a rowdy student section until the students were moved to the North endzone in I believe 2016 (to open up premium seating for boosters). Now the students are left to bake in the direct sun during games and most don't show up if it's not a big SEC matchup.
Vaught Hemingway is a dump. Davis Wade is light years ahead
I’ve been to 13 out of 14 SEC stadiums and most stadiums multiple times. Ole Miss is at the bottom in my experiences, fans suck, no crowd noise, etc.
@@preese9736 comforting to know that wherever you mention Ole Miss there’s always a hating ass state fan that got sum to say
@@JoshuaClayton44 I’m a South Carolina fan...
the blue rocks Delaware stadium is actually a lot nicer than what the google pictures show since they are old. They updated the scoreboard and made it look better and they also added a bull pen in right field in the outfield right there. it looks pretty nice. they also repaved the parking lot behind the outfield too. i think it is deserving of this award.
Bristol Tennessee should count it’s the last great
Can you pls do best stadiums in every British county
I saw your Texas Toast Sarlaac writing!
I’m very happy you picked Providence Park
For Oregon id have gone that new Athletics stadium at the Uni. It looks incredible.
Have you done a video on strange and amazing stadiums in countrys with cold climates at all m8
Damn, that background music slaps alot
I would give Maine to Alfond Arena. The Student section is right above the visiting teams goalie, and let me tell you, the UMaine student section doesn’t hold back. Also the roof design is pretty cool, especially when you consider it was built back in the 70s
I think this video is absolutely fantastic. You have done your research! However, I should voice where I disagree. SafeCo Field (now known as T-Mobile Park), is a much better field than Lumen field in Seattle. Lumen field may be loud, but SafeCo field has an incredibly unique retractable roof, as well as great views of the Seattle skyline! Lumen Field doesn't have a great skyline view from the seats, even though the skyline is nearby.
edit: grammar
I am surprised you didn't do Neyland Stadium for Tennessee, its so iconic in the college football world.
This may be your best video yet.
MassHole here... I'm probably in the minority here but I love TD Garden. Something about it being close to the Zakim bridge and the way it sits on sort of the edge of the city, welcoming all who pass by is magical to me
It's a stadium video 😎
Old mountaineer field will always be the best of wv. little more than half the capacity of milan puskar but we packed it, and the way it was designed seemingly put us right on top of the field. very intimidating place to be as an opponent
4:08 The Daniel S. Frawley looks a lot like the northren legues Winnipeg Goldeyes baseballs stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
I've been to The Jake (progressive field) and Ohio Stadium. Ohio Stadium dwarfs anything I've been to ever. Also, a buddy of mine that lives in Norman Oklahoma says that their Stadium has a nickname. "The Palace on the Prairie" Which I think is pretty cool.
You should look into the new UBS Arena for New York. It will be completed in November and looks amazing, drawing inspiration from Belmont Race Track next door
You should take a look into the biggest football league in Sweden, Allsvenskan. They have some fairly nice stadiums.
The Kansas "Kansaw" killed me
Cardinal Stadium in Louisville is nice on the inside where the field is at but the concourse area felt like an outdoor market when I went there.
Do Mexican Baseball Stadiums (include LMB (summer league) and LMP (winter league) because they all have incredible stadiums) 🙌
Would love a video like this for every european country or latin american country
Hayward Field, Oregon deserved a shout. Great video though.
for colorado ball arena, seats are all padded, super good food, nice cool interior, good sound, just good atmosphere overall
Minnesota - I love US Bank Stadium and that's my choice too but Target Field is no slouch. TCF Back Stadium (now Huntington Bank Stadium) is also pretty nice but since majority of the stadium is still bleachers I'd put it third.
Yeah, the Gophers (relatively) new stadium looks pretty sweet on TV. Wish I could be there tonight to watch the Buckeyes huge win.
The opening shot for Michigan is of my hometown! Petoskey!
Worth noting - the new Viking stadium has had quite a bit of trouble with leaks because of that goofy shape.
I miss driving by Aloha stadium, moved from hawaii in 2012 :(.
as a pennsylvanian, I would go with lincoln financial field, in philly. It is one of the coolest stadiums I have ever been in
As an Ohioan, I just had to make sure you picked right. You did
i prefer pre-renovation arkansas razorback stadium and louisville cardinal stadium bc i think the fieldhouses behind the endzones are unique and cool
2:30 LA Galaxy FC should play at SoFo Stadium alongside the LA Chargers from Inglewood, CA
Have you had a chance to visit any of these stadiums in the US? It’d be cool to get a video of the stadiums/arenas you’d most like to see in person
You deserve more than 21,000,000+ views…
Can you do big sky conference football stadiums?
Will do.

Fun Fact: Kentucky was nearly called Transylvania.
Transylvania is also the name of a college in Lexington
What's crazy is that right when Missouri came up I immediately tought about Abraham Simpson, and then bam.. There he is 😂😂
Being from Colorado many of us here in Colorado what agree with you Folsom Field is a beautiful place
The Warehouse at Camden Yards is not outside of the stadium. It is part of it.
Perfect choice for Virginia. Don't know if you meant it, but nice pun saying castle facade because that's the name of the Virginia Tech basketball stadium.
“Virginia, the state with a girls name” 🤣🤣🤣
So proud of you for pronouncing APPALACHIAN correctly. Go Mountaineers!!!!!!
For stadiums in Ohio, I've been to Great American Ball Park, Nippert Stadium, Paul Brown stadium, and Ohio Stadium (Still need to hit all the MAC schools, the new MLS stadiums, and Cleveland stuff. Been to bball arenas but those aren't considered for this). Best stadiums I've visited so far in order from best to worst would be GABP, Nippert, Ohio Stadium, then Paul Brown Stadium
Great American ball park is nicer than Nippert stadium in my opinion but yea I agree the nicest Stadium is the Horse Shoe nothing close
@@gusbus5227 that's not what I said at all. I said GABP is the nicest, then Nippert is second nicest, then Ohio Stadium third, then PBS at 4th
The Monster Mile does count!
Lol what stadium is he supposed to pick fir Delaware? Delaware football stadium is garbage and do is Del State.
yes it does!
What’s weird about Cathy Parker Field is that it looks like my old Pop Warner field and that the 2 bodies of water next to it is a lake and the Arctic Ocean
For Texas there is a ton and while Jerry world is nice it isnt the best. So some great iconic ones The Cotton Bowl, Kyle field, darell k Royal, and the Astrodome as they all have great histories. Minute maid and both globe life stadiums are very very nice stadiums and NRG is nice as well sitting next to the Astrodome and it is cool how they change it out depending on the time of year so fall to early winter it is for football both college and pro with some high school games thrown in there. Then it changes hands for some small events and then finally late winter early spring it is then used for the Rodeo and then sometimes a quick turn around for basketball.
