We need petition for adidas to start making ultraboost 19 again so I can buy 50 pairs and be done with sneakers rest of life
The boost was no different than any other model for me personally BUT the most comfortable upper of any trainer i have worn!
These are the most squishy and soft boost ive felt since the EQT 97 boost and the pure boost from 2014. Big fan of the comfort on these. The upper is not primeknit but its still comfortable and stretchy. This shoe takes inspiration from the ultraboost for sure.
Is it as breathable as prime knit ?

Thank you so much for this review. I was sneaker hunting for weeks after my 2016 Adidas Ultraboost by Stella and I was not willing to sacrifice comfort that I have experienced in those shoes. I ordered these ones and it is like walking on clouds with no restriction to your upper feet. Definitely an upgrade from my old ones. Thanks a lot again.

Buy a full size down. These things are HUGE. nowhere close to TTS. I wear a 12 and got these in a 12 vut there's like 2-3 inches of room in the toes

I dont get how they position this shoe higher than an NMD and just under an UB with that price. They should have released them under an established name like EQT boost. I just don't see the plan for these at that price and name.
Yup especially since X_PLR are known for being an entry level shoe. When I heard they came out I checked it out and was shocked at the price and the look lol. Looks nothing like X_PLR OG and the price tag for that name 😂

I’m usually a 9.5 in ultra boost, but found these to be a little long. Returned for a 9 and fit me like an Ultra Boost at 9.5.
What about the width? I have wide feet so length isn’t as big of an issue for me.
It's wider than the ultra boost 1.0 and 5.0 and 100x more comfortable, super squishy but like Andy said, they run half size longer

I saw your top 10 video and see you loved the NB technologies for "squishiness". I'm searching for casual "do-all" shoes that I can basically use on an everyday basis and travel in maximum comfort. I'm even considering the new Asics GEL-NIMBUS 25 as its looks don't seem as much as a runner shoe. By the way, I have the Nike Invencible's 2. Incredible guy but not a sneaker for casual use in my opinion.
It would have probably been better if they had kept the tongue from the original X_PLR shoes.

Was just looking at these, glad you came out with a review. They look a little better in video then on website but they are sooo high, will have to see how they are on feet. I'm an NMD lover so super squish is not important to me. I'm hoping these aren't tight on foot like Ultraboosts are. Can't wear ultraboosts because they are waaaaaay too tight on foot.

Not true to size, Adidas is messing up with the size shoes. Got 28.4 cm (actual foot length), my heels are not tight in the shoe( when walking, they go upward out of the shoes. Tried the smaller size 28 cm, my toes are strangled. Ah, and apparently, 28.4 is now 46 and not 44 2/3 anymore..
They do this all the time. I have a lot of NMDs and they range from an 7.5-8 for me. Some colorways the 7.5 is too big in the toe box area and the 7 is too small. It sux, idk why they can't do consistent sizing

The original X_PLR looks better, smarter and more versatile for me. X_PLR is my very first Adidas shoe. It started my love for Adidas because of how good it is. This new model for sure is more comfortable but the look and price disappoints me

Saw them today in Poland, looks amazing, also reminds me of EQT 93/17, till this date I have not worn anything as comfortable as these..
Honestly I've tried these and if I were to be blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between these and the EQT 93/17. They're literally identical, only with a more durable outsole on these newer release.

I have the EQT 91/18s and Bait Futures, these are really nice, just got mine today ✌
They are quite comfy, but huge for the size. And IMHO way too narrow. While the ride is fantastic, the upper is a bit of a let down. I can feel them squeeze the blood out of my feet, unlike some other Adidas shoes at the same size.
Ok, so I got the shoes one size up, because they are too narrow (has Adidas actually seen how feet look like?). So now I've got shoes that are too long, again. Anyway, IMHO the upper from the UB21 is better. More breathable, stretchier. The ride of the X_PLRBOOST is... weird. It is very soft, you don't feel any impact while walking, but it is also more exhausting to walk than the UB21 (after 1,500 km, a decent part of that spent running). There's also no way you'd run in the X_PLR. Besides, that's the softest Boost I've ever tried. Maybe my old Supernova Glide Boost 7 were as soft, but there wasn't nearly as much Boost material in the shoe. Newer UBs, especially since the 21 have gotten rather firm.

Can you do a density check comparison for all boost models, to crown which boost sneaker has the SOFTEST varient of boost? Because boost is very dynamic and can be made to be firm or squishy.
I’m glad these haven’t caught on by the masses. These are easily my favorite boost shoe. I have all the versions of ultraboost, Yeezys and 4DFWD. These are hands down the most comfortable lifestyle walking shoe. Already have 3 colorways. Hopefully they bring out new ones and don’t phase them out since they’re not as popular.
Whatever they did with the boost material on these, they need to keep doing! So soft and squishy a lot more than any other boost i have worn and i have about 10 pairs of trainers with different boost varients. And they are stable!!

Adidas needs more structure in their toe boxes…they hold no form, you can see every knuckle in every toe & it just throws me off. The Presto is my favorite shoe by a long shot, sock like fit but at the same time holds it’s form around the toe box. I’ve seen more bunions in ultra boost wearers than I have with folks who wear flip flops. 🤣
Bunions don't come from a lack of structure in toe boxes. If the toe box is tighter that would be more likely to lead to a bunion because your toes are squeezed more.
@@dbdb4962 never said they cause the bunions, just said that you could see them because the shoe holds no form.

X_PLR's back with a bang.
Hate how Adidas just loves to kill off the good stuff. Even with EVA soles, the OG's should've been in circulation and then these should've come out eventually (they still look pretty good, and some colourways look damn amazing).
Scarcity made those things go for higher than these new ones 😂...crazy stuff

I also tried both, Nike invincible run 3 and this Adidas along of more of 50 other pairs that proclaim to be high end, New balance, Asics, Nimbus, On, Skechers, etc etc and they both are the most comfortable ones I've tried. Adidas is a bit cheaper and heavier as you said, aside that can be used laceless and Nike invincible are a a bit expensive and the part of the ankle feels lower and gives a sensation that your feet is going to come out

Bruh. Ive been Adidas for probably 30 years. Seen them all come and go. I wish I could design a shoe, of course based on the boost midsole . I somewhat remember Adidas take on the personalize thing and it wasn’t very good.

I find these shoes a full size bigger than your true size. Also bottom heavy. On the plus side - they are squishy comfy Koz of the boost midsole.

These are way more bulky and heavy than Ultraboost. If you enjoy a lightweight feel these are def. not for you... UB feels like a feather compared to these!

Agreed, but the problem with the Invincible Run's even the latest one, they're ugly. Adidas still makes the best looking cushioned shoes.

When walking in.them your toes.move every wear. Even when we see you testing them your toes are playing with each other..
