Saving Private Ryan is currently free on RUclips Movies, that was the inspiration for the piece. I think the Harp Harmonics patch is mostly what you’re hearing, but the standard patch is quite endearing. Sounds amazing. I’m sure I’ll find more use in the future. Thanks for checking it out, and your valuable feedback. Always appreciated Colin.
@@jimshomestudioI love how you have been branching out into different instrumentation recently Jim. Not content with being a master of the guitar and bass, you are now expanding your compositional talents. I always look forward to your uploads as they never disappoint.
@@ccjmusic Kind of you to notice. There were a few RUclips videos that really inspired the change, and that’s how I got into Abbey Road One and Two. They made possibilities sound endless, and we could learn and create at the same time as we emulate our favorite scores. They asked, what’s your favorite score? My reply was the original Poltergeist theme, from the first movie. If you remember, it opens with a Harp, and then the children’s choir (which was actually a lady’s choir using their kid voices). This was a production channel where they focus on the tools producers use. Most of that is above my pay grade. But as you could imagine, I daydream at work… LOL. 😊
@@jimshomestudioI'll have to check the Poltergeist theme, I'm not sure I remember it. Film soundtracks have always been a great place to hear inspirational music. I used to love all the old movies that Tangerine Dream did the soundtracks for. But one theme I have been listening to a lot again lately is the theme from the movie "Zombi" by Fabio Frizzi ruclips.net/video/If8XKo-D-ak/видео.htmlsi=EMqf50hcHFcgiv3j
@@jimshomestudioI don't think I've heard that theme before. I never watched Poltergeist, but often you get to hear themes without having to see the movie, so I thought I had probably heard it. I haven't ever watched "The Exorcist", "Halloween", "Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Friday the 13th" but I have definitely heard their theme music. I can see what you mean about the harp and choir and can see why you like it. I would never have guessed it was from a horror movie just from hearing the music.
Beautiful!
Too kind George, thank you. 🙏
That was beautiful Jim 😊
Thanks so much Anne, I have wanted a Harp instrument for my music for many years now, and yesterday was my birthday so… it was time. 🍀
@@jimshomestudio Happy Birthday for yesterday! 😊❤️🎂🍾🎉🎈

Very nice!👍👍👍
Thanks a million Tomas! ❤️
Most welcome!
Beautiful sounds here! It sounds sad and serious like from a scene from a movie like Saving Private Ryan. Deep and emotional sounding.
Loved the way that movie begins. 🇺🇸
Very heavy scene indeed!@@jimshomestudio
This is very cool Jim! Definitely soundtrack worthy. I would never have guessed it was harp if you hadn't said so.
