  • I install the new Late Model Restoration (SVE) Mach 1 'heritage' wheels in staggered fitment! The rears are 17x10.5 and the fronts are 17x9. I ordered them with the tires installed, and they are Nitto NT555 G2 in 275-40-17 front and 315-35-17 rear. This car is currently on the factory springs, but lowering springs are coming! Great series. I’ve watched all the Mach 1 vids. Good choice with keeping the Mach 1 look.

    How tuff was it changing out the center caps ? I'm about to place a order for a set of these rims and tire combo in the 17x9 & 17x10.5 ,now they have them in 18's but I think I'll stay with 17's because I have 18's staggered Saleen's on my 03 GT Mustang Conv. and they scrub at times on the rear. tires rub inside edges of rear well need rolling out a little I just don't want no rubbing on my Mach1 so I'm stay with 17's

    Eibach sportlines or H&r super sports springs will be perfect...My sve saleen reps don’t rub without fender roll..

    • @OhYeahAboutThat
      @OhYeahAboutThat  3 года назад

      Yeah, I had the Sportlines on my 01 Bullitt. So, you did not have to roll your fenders? I’d rather not.

    Love the builds, awesome wheel mod definitely a great choice to put a wheel on that’s got a little bit of the lip looks way better. Have you gotten any ranger vids coming soon?

    Thank you for the video. I am in the process of buying new wheels for my 95. Do you still like these after a year and did you consider 18s?

    • @OhYeahAboutThat
      @OhYeahAboutThat  2 года назад +1

      Glad it helped. Yes, I still love them. In my opinion the 18s are just a bit too big for this car. I had 18s on my 01 Bullitt (has its own playlist) and I think the 17s are the right fit. I just drove this car today and really love these wheels.

    What is back spacing? I’m looking for some for my 1970 Mach 1. I think my wheels need 4.5 back spacing. To fit.

    • @OhYeahAboutThat
      @OhYeahAboutThat  2 года назад

      I’m not sure but I think you can find the fitment guide on their website.

    would i have issues if i installed these on my v6 or would i be fine not sure is exhaust or something is different on the v6 than the GT/mach 1 etc

  • @puma1963
    @puma1963 3 года назад

    Do those back tires fit without removing the quad shock or messing with exhaust, I got 2003 mach 1 with borla exhaust and was wondering

    • @OhYeahAboutThat
      @OhYeahAboutThat  3 года назад +1

      Yes, they do. I just installed an SLP exhaust this week with zero issues. My car is still stock height at this time.

    • @DeveryAndrews

      I was wondering the same thing. For some reason my Borla system is very close on the passenger side with current 18x10s and 295s.

      @@OhYeahAboutThat I see, sorry if I wasn’t clear, I meant before the new wheels. I have a GT & I don’t like how far in the wheel sits currently. I’m trying to find the correct size spacer to have the rear wheels sit just right 💯
