This video shows how to replace the front disc brakes found on the SVT Cobra, Mach 1, and Bullitt Mustangs. The process is similar on the GT and V6 as well. FYI The rear brakes require a special tool that will twist the caliper as it compresses.

Just as a little note, the washer for the pin should actually be on the inside/clip side of the caliper. Great job on the video!

Thanks for the breakdown, the spray bottle sprayer to remove fluid is a great idea

Nice job. I usually crack the bleeder screw with a hose attached so I don't have to deal with the reservoir overflowing. I don't worry about introducing air because pad and/or rotor changes are an opportunity to renew the brake fluid.

when you put the pin back in, the washer goes on the side with the clip; not as he had it

These calipers confuse me. With no slider pin, how do they move and center on the rotor?

On these cobra/pbr style calipers, I have a caliper rattle under low pedal pressure. Also inboard side pads are worn out while outboard pads are fine. Any ideas?

It is pretty common on these. New clips typically solve the issue as you’ll see in this video ruclips.net/video/ZVT6OaQavvk/видео.html
