I've always gotten a lot of requests to speak at high school and college graduations but have always declined... I don't expect to be getting many more requests after this.

ikr, especially the part where "don't let the societies definition of success defines your goals and dream" . . . And so on... like for real man, we study, goes to school, we stressed a lot cuz of assignments and projects especially in high school.... and their are dick teachers also, and then when we graduate it feels like you're not satisfied cuz you gotta find a job to secure your self and your future then the cycle repeats for itself... life sucks... this whole school system sucks.... and you'll be even more stressed in your job.... wakes up early.... never gets a good sleep, went home miserable....

First off, I'm 37 years old and this was one of the best damn speeches I've heard in a long time. Second off, umm...props to you for that phenomenal green-screening with your clones and taking the time to play all the different roles and emotions for them. How just how can someone make a video that's so funny, realistic and educational at the same time? His speech honestly put me into some deep thinking and I'm already on 3rd year of med school I've already picked my game. But sometimes I still wonder if it was the right one.

You'll never know what you really want to be doing, or what will really make you happy until you're stuck doing what you really hate. For me I use to think music would always be a hobby, until I was stuck at my shit show of a job (making decent money) and every waking second I spent there all I could think about was music production, it all became clear where my time should be spent.
The real question is what if nothing in your life makes you happy, no "game" that really sucks your attention. This video got me in real deep thought as well, I'm just restarting my journey of schooling and I question myself everyday whether or not this is what I want to dedicate my life doing. Maybe I'm too deep of thought, curious to hear replies.
I doubt he will ever see this but I first dicovered Ryan when I was about 11 and he's really shaped my teenage years and growing up so far, and I think will go on to influence my later life. I've never related to someone as much, I love how he is realistic and honest to the point where he's putting himself "in danger" of being seen as offensive. His videos have such high quality with so many detailed jokes everywhere that leave me wheezing even the fifteenth tlme I'm watching a video. I honestly feel so much better when I watch his videos and as I've grown up the last few years I've realised he's my role model. I want someone like him in my life, someone with humor and passion for his work and who's realistic without being depressing. The quality, comedic genius and honest lessons and ideas he's showed me have actually helped me put things into perspective a lot of times as well as act as an instant mood lifter. I'm so grateful that I can come home from school and his videos will be waiting for me. His videos feel like home to me. A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to Ryan and the whole RHPC (!!!!!!), I don't think there's a word meaningful enough to describe what you've done for me.

Can we all just appreciate the amount of effort and thinking Ryan puts in his videos, and how he acts like he doesn’t care or he’s not good with something at the end of each one and humbling himself 😭 This video itself is truly touching as I’m about to graduate and I have all these ideals and standards in my head and sometimes I just forget to sit back and think about my happiness in the future. Thank you, Ryan!

It's not him that comes up with all these ideas. He has a creative team under his payroll. They're the ones that come up with these concepts.

Looking back at this video. Ryan, basically, says the meaning is to be happy on the journey. If you see Ryan’s behind the scenes videos, Ryan and his team are always laughing and having fun when they record. They tend to have more fun recording the shoots then when they are finished with it. When he finishes the video, he doesn’t get that many views compared to what he deserves, but it doesn’t bother him because he is having fun recording and going to shoots with his friends. Like he said, you shouldn’t beat a video game because you just want to win, you play a game to enjoy the journey of it. He keeps recording because he has fun making his videos and it doesn’t matter how well it does.

That was, honestly, the greatest speech I have ever known. Some may be inspirational, but yours is VERY different, they keep saying to reach your goals, and dreams, while you would say that we can always fail, and we would keep trying. But once we keep trying, we would get stressed, and our happiness won't remain in our life. I really enjoyed this, thank you for that.

agreed! i feel like those other kind of inspirational speeches make you focus so much on succeeding that it makes you feel depressed or unhappy if you’re not succeeding like other people. when in reality, we should be focusing on our happiness! if we’re happy we’ll be able to strive for the things we truly want, and not for things we just think we want.
