About time you guys came up to Maine! We have killer slab fishing up here when you know where to look! True giants and relatively under appreciated. Everyone loves the salmon, togue and cusk through the ice and the crappie grow to be monsters.
Mr. Bart, I’ve watched each and every episode, to date, of three seasons of The Crappie Chronicles. They’re all 100% absolutely wonderful. Keep up the great work! You four make a fantastic team. Entertaining. Educational. Epicurean! Envious!!! 👍👍👍👍
We don’t have Crappie where I live, so I target Jumbo Perch. I watch your videos because the quality you put out is top shelf. Congratulations on all the success, much deserved. 👏
So much to say about this!! So great. I was born in Brunswick Maine live in Portland now and I ice fish southern maine none stop. Got on my first crappy bite last week and it was special. Thrill to see you guys here and can’t wait for the next video!!!!!
Great movie guys. I'm jealous. Were in no mans land here in Buffalo N.Y. temps finally down to zero last week gave us first safe ice. Now temps up to 50 this week. Bummer
I didn’t realize white perch got that big honestly. They’re invasive where I live in eastern nebraska. State accidentally stocked them with walleyes but they only get like 6” max here
Smaht folks in Maine take the Downeaster bus to portland and from there friend, fam or Uber. Driving from Boston blows when you can sleep on the cozy bus instead
Nice job making it to the haaaah baaaah. If you ever go in the spring and want to catch some city carp you weren’t too far away when you were at the garden(also monster striped bass in the harbor in the summer)
Live about 20 minutes from where you guys are fishing. got into fishing for crappie a few years back been fishing lakes around this area my whole life. You guys ever make another trip hit me up for some info. Ps those are small whites get into some big humpbacks 16 17 inches and pound for pound one of the best fights on a jig rod

love the video fellas, i live in Maine and would love to try to target some of these fish, would you be willing to share the names of the lakes or ponds you guys fished in this video?
Can’t even catch a damn 13” here in MN and griff whacks a 13” crappie in Maine right off the bat!! (I know griff personally so I can give him shit) lol
It's crazy that maine hates everything that's not a trout. No limits on crappies is stupid if you ask me. They don't even like yellow perch one of the best eating and fun to catch fish through the ice. If you do a northeast tour again hit champlain and a few NY waters
@@joef.2908 obviously it’s much easier than swiss cheesing ice with 1 fishing buddy and vexilars (99% of ice fishing situations). Running $3k equipment shouldn’t be too simple as well.
I’m 20 mins from Syracuse New York! We also have some giant crappies in this area! If you guys ever want to make another trip this way give me a shout and I’ll show you around! Hmu for my number if you want.

Pink is really good in front of the camera. He could definitely have his own cooking show.
He just finished making his own Cookbook! You can buy it here:

I’d watch! And, just ordered the cookbook.
Griff is the champ. To see a little bit on how he scouts a lake was informative. Nice work .
dude i've lived in maine my entire life and that intro still got me hyped, editing is amazing
Waldron and Pinkalla travel vlogging could totally be it's own series. Love it haha
It will definitely happen more in the future lol
Good thing I'm off tomorrow and going fishing, because I'm watching this whole thing tonight! 🍻🍻🍻
You guys have inspired me to get out and chase Crappies......thanks for the videos! Always informational and look forward to every new video!
I stopped and spent the night at that same Loves in somewhere NY when i moved out here 😂😂😂

Mark sending shots from the lively state of Maine. 🎉Let’s go Guys.
Thanks Mark!

The whole traveling reminded me of planes trains and automobiles. Great series.
Maine was way off my radar. Man those are some great fish! Great show I love that you make the longer vids too!
Just curious about the large yellow perch were they worm free in the meat when you cleaned them ? Also how did the white perch taste ?
Yep! They had 0 issues. Tasted great. We ate perch almost our whole trip 😂
The White Perch were phenomenal. Very flakey and light meat.
@@adambartusek That's great. Good video. I hope you guys make a trip back there in the future. 👍🏼
Mac definitely knows his stuff 🙌🏼
Saw some dinosaurs from Maine on forums last winter - figured you’d end up there. You guys should go to up to devils lake for late ice!
Great scouting tips from Giff, out in front this episode. Great episode. MW/Ep 🎣
Great first video! Looking forward to what else you guys have in store!
Coors light and ice fishing… can’t get better then that.
im glad to see Griff have some more screen time.
Putting those miles in! Impressive to say the least. I don't even want to drive 3 hrs to fish haha! Let's go
Lets go dude finally a movie
We did it!
@@adambartusek Yep, you guys should make more movies like this
Pink and his lobster😂😂😂
I mean, it was a given that was gonna happen on this trip lol
couldn't not
The fake lake names killed me! Lol
Another great episode! Keep chasing them giants.
LOL, I met Connor the Bartender on a 5 hr layover in Minni this last fall.
That was amazing to watch, loved the drive laughs and seeing you guys just crushing it.
Absolutely awesome, love watching

This is your best video yet, and more to come ...
I didn’t realize white perch got that big honestly. They’re invasive where I live in eastern nebraska. State accidentally stocked them with walleyes but they only get like 6” max here
I had a feeling the big trip yous were talking about was gonna be Maine! The fact this series doesn’t have 100k views on each video is ridiculous

This channel is Awesome. Pig Crappie unlimited.

Got ice though?

Find a lake no one travels to. Bring a bunch of guys. Panoptics the whole basin. Might as well drop a net
