Another good new song! I'm more partial to the official or concert soundtrack as background music while I'm doing stuff since the singing is grander and less emotional. However, the new songs are so good, I'm adding them to my playlist.
I personally find very amusing that the Chief of Intelligence Services for this revolution was a kid that had just hit puberty, it's like you go to the DGSE and the director is a kid on ratty suit... Like hooooow?
love how everyone is hating on Crowe's voice when I'm just here like: why didn't they wait till Hue was good at singing (The Greatest Showman) to make this movie?
Hugh's career was in musical theatre long before he ever started acting on screen. Sure, he's no Josh Groban, but he's still a professional, classically-trained singer. With this movie, the vocal quality leaves a bit to be desired in some places, but part of the reason for that is that I think the role of Valjean was written for a tenor, and Hugh is a baritone in his comfortable range, so a lot of the notes were a little high for him. The songs were performed live and most of them in one take. It sounds to me like some days on set were better than others. I hope this doesn't come across as rude or condescending. I wasn't sure if clarification was needed.
I like how javert (crowe) uses a raspy singing voice for this.
Excellent voice of Russel Crowe
agreed
100% agree
If you let me go beware, you'll still answer to Javert!

Javert is so stubborn
If you ask me, this little bridge right here completely makes up for the rest of Russel Crowe's singing.
Yeah
"don't understand"
