It's as if Marius never cared. And this song is so beautiful. Samantha Bars is incredible, and so is Eddie Redmayne.

Haven't seen the movie, but the stage performance was incredible because it didn't rely on visuals but the music and the singers ability to paint the picture.

This song made me cry! And that's saying quite a lot! I do think that Marius should have opened his eyes and seen that she loved him before she was shot, but oh well! It makes for a beautiful heart wrenching scene! ❤️🇫🇷✊🏻

Actually, I think (and this is just my opinion, so no hate) that Marius isn't pretending to love her, he's just finally realizing she loves him and understanding it because of how much he loves Cosette. He's not saying "I love you" as much as he's saying "Why did you do what you did?" and "I feel your pain, and I'm sorry."

Marius is a PLAYER. At first he completely ignores Eponine for Cossette. Now he's all like, "I love you Eponine!" Like choose one girl -__-
