Hey all! If you enjoy the content, I’ve started a second channel where I’ll be posting more content, including vlogs and a more behind the scenes look at what I get up to here in Japan! The first video is already up! Thank you always ❤ ruclips.net/video/b4qIrGv18Xo/видео.htmlsi=qnq_onrBBpvxJfFN
I’m a couple months behind but I bought a tv for my bedroom just to watch more videos again Your youtube show is very important in life Thanks for everything Dino
It is actually a dream of mine to create a cafe where everyone is welcome, but most importantly have come to relax that just happens to have cars as the decor. The only difference is cultivating a physical space reminiscent of asian pagoda's and a well tendered garden. This space is giving me inspiration
oh wow.. didnt know watanabe-san is so deep pocketed! from the 300+ cars in parts bin to these cafe/museums and not to mention the 2 GTR-50! thanks dino for the trip!
Years ago I purchased a lot of Japanese magazines online because a couple of them were primarily focused on the Honda S2000. Ironically, I purchased the magazines just for the photos and the graphic design as I am unable to read them. Among that lot were a few editions of Garage Life, which proved to be a great surprise. Just from the images alone I could tell that Garage Life does a great job of capturing the wide array of car and bike culture in Japan, highlighting the depths of passion that many individuals have over there. I can understand why it would be your favorite.
Definitely a bucket list destination to visit. Japan retro car king where I discovered rocky auto. He is the coolest and most unique guy the documentary. Thanks for us these kind of content Dino
Nice. I’m so glad I found your channel. That clay model looks more like a wood buck. I have marked this place down if I ever make it over there to try and visit.
My Dad in the UK in the mid 70s had a C110 Datsun 240KGT wasn't called ken marie here followed by another Brand new C210 Skyline 240KGT . Only 6 left in the UK now of the Skyline 240KGT C210.
The car mags in Japan are amazing. I bought a Motorhead mag at Daikanyama one visit even though I can’t read (or speak) Japanese. I miss print media!!!!
Pretty incredible, is this all funded by his businesses? His private collection, especially that italdesign GTR, seem way beyond what you'd expect for an auto shop. Not too mention the sheer amount of floor space he has!
Mitsubishi licensed the Willys jeep post WW2. Lots of various configurations. Toyota decided to develop their own offroad vehicle similar to the Willys Jeep and that became the Land Cruiser we know today.
Curios about the 3000 GT replicas. What base car does he use to build from (what’s the original chassis)? I went to Rocky Auto for the first time last year and I quickly became one of my favorite shop visits
Never liked the Italdeaign R35 it looks way worse than the original car for my point of view but okay there's space for all on the car life i Guess, i love the older japanese Cars like the Kenmery Skyline, Fairlady Z, etc
Need to add a lot more actual info in our vids You show a car but don’t actually discuss it and what it has or why it’s different We know exactly as much about his 3000gt’s as we knew before the video which is nothing except it’s a little bigger What engine? Interior? What’s the point of the bill that makes them special etc

This is very cool, Watanabe-san's custimization philosophy is brilliant, not scared to push the limits!
What a place!
That's a nice observation about the lack of dedicated places for gathering, knowing that space is limited in Japan.

Thanks for subbing to the other channel too!
Real life Gran Turismo cafe 😎
This is like a real life gran turismo showroom.
How do I find out about the cars that are listed for sale? Where? Website?
I think the only way is to reach out to them and ask them directly
😮
Incredible video. His insurance agent must not be able to sleep a few nights a week.
🤘🏾⚡️
Curios about the 3000 GT replicas. What base car does he use to build from (what’s the original chassis)? I went to Rocky Auto for the first time last year and I quickly became one of my favorite shop visits
It’s his own bespoke steel chassis
nice jaqan
So if the cars are for sale does that not make a showroom?
Depends how you look at it I suppose
please dont burn down please dont burn down
Give me that Kenmeri and I'll die happy
fun fact the blue r50 is for sale on his website he wants one million usd
"Watanabe-san is selling some cars"
*Googles what a kidney is worth and if i can survive with 1 lung to buy a Hako

As I mentioned there is an entire separate video on the 3000GT
