Caiman Lizard Enclosure (Finished!)

  • Finally done.
    Dimensions: 8x6x4
    150 gallon stock tank with FX6 and UV Sterilizer for filtration. Hygger submersible heater (800w) for his heated pool. Four 160 watt mercury vapor lights for heat and UVB. Topsoil, Peat moss for substrate. Plenty of plants, some real, some fake. The rocks are fake, bought them from Menard's.

      Oh, let's see. Tent and tub were both about 150 each, rocks were 20 and 30 I think. Then the filter was around 250, UVB filter, about 75, heater around 80.
      Fans for ventilation, lights, harnesses, other extras, probably puts around 900 or so. In hindsight, I would advise against the outdoor carpet background though, use something non-climbable. Bamboo siding looks great and isn't as easy to climb, just make sure it's nothing they can get their claws stuck in.
