Finally done. Dimensions: 8x6x4 150 gallon stock tank with FX6 and UV Sterilizer for filtration. Hygger submersible heater (800w) for his heated pool. Four 160 watt mercury vapor lights for heat and UVB. Topsoil, Peat moss for substrate. Plenty of plants, some real, some fake. The rocks are fake, bought them from Menard's.

This here is Hades! I ordered him online and he arrived with a respiratory infection. This often means death with caiman lizards. I tried many medications but the only one that worked was edible Baytril. It took a few months, but he's finally healthy and eating well, and growing fast. He'll be in his adult enclosure by August, maybe September. Thanks for watching!

Hades is a caiman lizard (dracaena guianensis), they are semi-aquatic, arboreal lizards that come from South America. Their natural diet consists primarily of snails, which they crunch up with their molars and very strong jaw muscles. They spend the majority of their days basking in trees over rivers and creeks, so whenever a predator comes along they just dive right into the water.

Can you cohab a caiman lizard and aquatic turtles?
Most aquatic turtles, I wouldn't do it. They'll nip at the CL's toes, and can definitely do damage. I'm sure you can find specific turtles that are compatible though.
